We…read moreshopped high and low and they blow all the competition out of the water with customer service, quality and price. The process was seamless. Jason met us on site and we decided on a shed and wanted the drive to talk about it. That shed sold while we were driving. Jason said he would get us what we wanted for the same price. We didn't have to compromise on color and roof style (metal) as we did with the other shed. Delivery happened exactly as promised. Darcy & Heather were delivery communication and super knowledgable. Kaleb managed to get into our difficult driveway. We have a flag lot. I was pretty impressed. He knew the problem areas and my husband followed him with a chainsaw to get down some limbs. Even though we spent the last three days prepping for this, there were some we missed! We look forward to our new building to use as a roadside stand for our farm - Twin Flame Lavender Farm. We still have a way to go with finishing and getting permits but this is so exciting. Please extend our thank you to your entire team! Cheers, Paul and Renee Donohue

He said one of our lights was a fire hazard, which frankly scared us, then said his guys could fix it (for a price!). Then he said the spray-on foam insulation in the basement would be practically free because we would get $850 in rebates from our gas and electric company. We did the smart thing and got another quote. THAT guy said most of those things didn't need to be done, our light was NOT a fire hazard and was completely up to code, and that the rebates from the utility companies would be $175. His quote was about a thousand less than VerWys's. When we called the VerWys guy again to see what he'd say, he backpedalled so hard he was going lightyears in reverse! Knocked off 2 grand from the initial quote, but we'd heard enough. Not gonna do business with a guy who tries to take us for a ride by pulling numbers out of his @$$.

My business partner, who is an electrical engineer/licensed master electrician, recommended Hulst as they did a good job installing his air conditioning system. (Our business is building diesel fueled heat drying systems for water damage restoration.) The Hulst people are friendly and quick to respond. Their quotation was both very fair and the lowest bid. They offer the Daikin brand furnaces which have a good reputation. We bought the high efficiency furnaces with the two stage burners and ECM motors and added wifi linked thermostats for programming and making setting adjustments using a smart phone. Rather than having a zone heating system for the two floors of our walkout home, we have two separate furnaces. Doing so enables the furnaces to be sized for the heat load of each floor instead of having a single large furnace capable of heating the entire house. The Hulst technicians installed both furnaces in a day. Their workmanship was very good and they were thorough. They explained the working of the system to us, set up the phone apps, and made a follow up visit to make sure everything was just right.

Hulst Heating & Cooling installed this HVAC system in the crawlspace of my new-build lake home in 2012. These are the furnace exhaust and fresh air intake pipes installed under an enclosed deck. I was told by one of their repairman 3 yrs ago that they had some bad people working for them at that time and this proves it. Fortunately, the emergency shut-off systems were working on the furnace and shut it down due to extreme heat build-up within the furnace or carbon monoxide detection. Ryan Hulst, the owner, has refused to fix their shoddy workmanship. Avoid at all cost!

Derek was outstanding - professional, patient, thorough. He immediately diagnosed the problem (my own incompetence, frankly), fixed it, installed the Nest quickly and efficiently, then made sure everything was working properly before he left. He also didn't try to just sell us a new A/C system; we will probably need to do so sometime in the next few years, but he was clearly just interested in solving the problem rather than hard-selling us. I cannot recommend High Point Heating & Cooling…read more About seven years ago, Brian Visser, the owner of High Point Heating & Cooling, installed a new furnace and A/C system for us. This year, the A/C stopped working. Brian came out, confirmed there was almost no pressure in the system, and told us this indicated a leak. We scheduled a return visit for him to locate and repair it. He never showed up. Calls and messages were not returned. We also spoke with another technician at High Point--his son--who said Brian would reach out. He never did. At that point, we were completely ghosted. We ended up calling another local HVAC company. They quickly diagnosed the issue as a leaking evaporator coil--a part that should have been covered under a 10‑year manufacturer warranty. Unfortunately, we learned that the unit had never been registered by High Point at installation, so the extended warranty was never activated. That single oversight cost us over $1,000 out of pocket for the part. Beyond the financial hit, the lack of follow‑through and accountability was extremely disappointing. Brian did not stand behind his work, did not communicate with us when there was a problem, and left us to deal with the consequences. Based on our experience, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere.
