We had dinner at the one in Fort Worth - first time. It was amazing! SUPER PACKED busy. We even had reservations and had to wait a bit but so glad we did. Family members had pizza. Hubby had the Honey Bastard and OMG. The sweetness of honey on top of the meat - some fancy Italian meat - it was heavenly! I had the Truffle Carbonara and the creamy goodness and smooth taste was amazing. My husband also had the Froze - pink frozen drink - and he loved it. Sat at Kahuna Tiki for a bit to order my food because they said it would have been 40 mins to sit inside, it was understandable, so I went to Kahuna. They fixed the doors! If you are looking for good pizza, this is a good spot. Thinner crust, but chewy and not tough. Toppings and taste are great too. The flavors work well on their pizzas. I am not much for spicy food, but found the Paulie Gee to be tolerable. The Honey Bastard and Cane Rosso are great too. Additionally, staff were friendly and conversational. Food was very good and our waiter waited on us and was also the bartender. If I lived in the area I would definitely come back to this restaurant. I usually enjoy my visits here. Typically I don't feel robbed when I get that $65+ pizza check but, today is another story. They legit brought our pizza out accompanied by a fly. This after they brought out the "fried nuggz" which again usually pretty fire. Byeeee, Cane Rosso (shoulda went to halal guys) We got the honey bastard- the bread felt undercooked and burnt at the same time, like just tasted like dough that had a torch to it and was TOO SALTY. & I used to consider this particular pizza immaculate. Fried nuggz- y'all know how I feel Iceberg salad- salty and warm, not a good combination Kids pepperoni- undercooked and underwhelming. My three year olds exact words "uhhh it's not that good mommy" Basically the whole meal sucked and we were all pretty hungry so that's really saying something. The whole meal came out to be like $61 and I'm used to the bill being $70-$100 whenever we get two pizzas and a dessert pizza. I'm not complaining about the price but for todays product. First time. My mom and I ordered the lunch specials to go. I got the pepperoni, and she ordered the margherita. They came with a choice salad. The pizzas were good. Great crust! It was bland, though. The pepperoni was as expected and delicious, but the Margherita was a bit disappointing. No tomato slices and one basil leaf. Still, it was delicious. Best pizza ever! I do recommend sticking to their specialty pizzas, rather than creating your own. They know what works! Seriously great crust and toppings. I've never really cared for leftover pizza, but theirs is just as delicious the next day. I think it has something to do with the crust. Very friendly and accommodating staff. We've been to the white rock location and loved it so was super excited to have one right down the street from us! The happy hour menu is great. The outside patio is a good size too. Took a minute to get our pizzas but wasn't a big deal. My ONLY complaint are the doors. We were there a little over an hour and heard all doors slam shut about 60+ times. Y'all! Please fix this. Came to town for a Texas Ranger game and decided to give this place a try since it was listed as a DDD in Dallas. We had a bit of a wait as they were swamped. There were games outside to keep the kids entertained while waiting so the time went fairly quickly. We ordered the CBP pizza and the kids ordered spaghetti and meatballs. First time here. I got the CBF pizza which is one of their white pizzas, it has chicken, bacon, mozzarella pesto and basil. I requested no pesto (not my thing on pizza). My husband got a calzone. It says on the menu that it takes 90 seconds for a pizza to be prepared. We placed our order and saw people who arrived AFTER us get their order first. It has been about 20 minutes so my husband grabbed the waiter and asked where our food was and she said it should be right out. So about 2 minutes later it arrives. It looks good. But I was disappointed. My pizza arrived soggy and that's not acceptable for me. My husbands calzone was cold. He cut it open and the cheese wasn't even melted! It was in chunks! It appears to me that they simply just didn't care about taking care of their customers today. I wouldn't come back. Me and my boyfriend took a trip to Arlington and stayed in the downtown area and was just explorjng the area with our dog and came across this place. The reviews looked promising and they had a dog friendly patio. From the start we had a feeling we were going to be disappointed. First of all, the host was really hostile against us after we said we wanted patio seating. Second we waited for a waiter for 15 minutes. When we finally got one she then stated she wasn't the least bit friendly but we brushed it off and ordered drinks and a pizza. Our pizza was out in about 15 minutes but drinks never showed up. I expected the waiter to come by and check on us but alas she never did. After we finished the pizza still no waiter so I walked to the host stand and told her we hadnt gotten our drinks and she blew it off and said ill tell the waiter. Another 10 minutes passed and she finally came but with nothing but the check. If you wanted us to leave so bad they could have just said that. To another surprise it took her another 12 minutes to even process the check. Its tragic their customer service is complete trash because the pizza is pretty good. We got Brussel sprouts and calamari to start. I'm not usually a fan of calamari, but this was pretty good. The sprouts were simply amazing. I got a capra salad with anchovies. I opted for no cheese or dressing. It was absolutely delicious! My boyfriend got the Johnny Utah. It was sooo good! My sister and her boyfriend split the farmer's only. I tried some. Holy cow, it's great! The crust has good flavor, not that cardboard taste you get some places. The salad had fresh and plentiful ingredients. We didn't save room for dessert, but we will next time!
