Her response was "I still have to have the card because "I don't know you". She did not bother to check with any of the other bartenders, to ask about serving me previously. She also did not bother to even look the least bit concerned about the charges. She took the beer with both hands, raised her voice somewhat and said "then you can't drink here", making sure to inject some drama. The whole encounter demonstrated a COMPLETE lack of people skills, and an immediate willingness to be confrontational with regard to anything other than, "SHE" did not know me, without any attempt to do anything other than bully, control, and disregard the problem with the card being charged. You have to go out of your way to disrespect somebody to treat them that way, She was right about not drinking there. Putting someone that lacking in people skills coupled with a personality quick to escalate to confrontation in a management position, tells me all I need to know.

If you're going to change your policy and charge people just to enter your venue to eat and watch a game, the least you can do is make that crystal clear before people spend money on parking. It was not on their website so this is UNACCEPTABLE! AND why just the Mexico games? I'd say that was predatory at the least. If it was solely about safety, let who arrives be served, but you took advantage and cost us $ AND inconvenience. DO BETTER!

We had a small Pepperoni Pizza (12") as an appetizer (taking half of it home). The pizza was awesome. Crust was crisp and chewy. Sauce was classic pomodoro. There was plenty of Mozzerella & Parmesan, and the slices of Pepperoni just made us happy. So good! We also had an order of Calamari (fried). The calamari was perfect, crisp fried coating and tender, juicy calamari rings underneath, accompanied by a delicious marinara. My Wife had Moni's Fettuccine Leonardo. She gave me a taste. Wow. Soooo very delicious. Fettuccine noodles cooked perfectly, were served in a sauce of butter, cream, Canadian bacon, sweet onions, ground pepper, and Parmesan cheese. I had the Veal Piccata. It was good, but not great. The Veal scaloppine was tender, juicy, and flavorful. The pasta was a great palette upon which to showcase the Piccata sauce. However, I'm used to much less Piccata sauce, usually EVOO/Butter with dry white wine (reduced), lemon, onion, garlic, Italian parsley, & capers. Moni's Piccata sauce also had what tasted like veal broth with a little corn starch for thickening. It was good, but, I prefer less sauce, and no broth. We had two spectacular desserts, a Lemoncello Cake and a Cannoli. Wow. So very tasty and a great way to finish the meal. Service, courtesy of Austin, was spectacular, professional, and personable. BYOW. Bring your favorite bottle of vino with you, and Moni's will uncork and serve (thank you for reminding me, Nicki!). Reservations can be made for parties of six or more.
