the candy section of a candy shop

The store is located right by the Aquarium it's on a great location, how ever the customer service is poor , the ice cream taste it average , & it was soft melting ( I don't think they have it at the proper temperature) the chocolates looked old ... and we had to wait a while to get help. I probably wouldn't buy anything here again.

Friendly staff members, great supply of salt water taffy, reasonable prices at $15 per lb. There are other candies but I went in for taffy. Lemon, orange cream, black licorice, chocolate, peppermint and peach taffy.

Great candy store with the best prices in the area. Located on Cannery Row, this is the smallest of 4 candy shops we visited. The highest was the shop closest to Bubba Gump at $6.25 per 1/4 lb. This shop was $3.25 per 1/4 lb. and is probably the closest shop the the Aquarium. Filled with bin candy, chocolate, ice cream, stuffed animals, soda pop, prepackaged candy, taffy, fudge, and other knick knacks, this shop is a great stop if you're craving something sweet.

It smelled great like candy popcorn but not so overwhelming either. It was a nice smell. The guy who helped was quick to greet us and get us what we needed. We chose toffee caramel covered apple and a chocolate toffee candy square. The candy square was good but goodness it was a bit hard for me to even break so little nibbles we took. The caramel chocolate covered apple we got was so good.

I've never been here when there's not a crowd, so be prepared for a bit of standing around and waiting your turn. There's no line, per se, just the honor system of first come, first serve. The wait has never distracted from the experience of visiting this shop. It always gives me time to decide what I want. And there's so much to choose from! Dipped apples Chocolate candies Jelly candies Fudges Popcorn Ice cream Saltwater taffy They also have sugar-free options. Between the mouth-watering aromas, the tempting variety of confections, the old-fashioned decor and the staff who tirelessly waits on the never ending line of customers, I highly recommend this sweet little candy shop.

You can tell they use really high-end ingredients. What I liked most is the various selections they have. They have so many different flavors and unique (like Venezuela, Mexico, Haiwaii, green tea and lemon chocolate or various caramel choco flavors). I bought a small box to try different ones and every single piece was delicious. Also, the garden is so pretty! It is so peaceful and beautiful to sit there and enjoy my treats. The shop is very cute too, it fits the Carmel vibe perfectly. If you are a chocolate lover, you definitely need to stop by here. It's a bit pricey but totally worth it for the taste and the quality. The Xocolatl Garden was one of these random, unexpected, but wholly welcome finds: accessible either via a festoon-lit narrow alley from Ocean Avenue, or via a winding path leading north from Piccadilly Park, this absolutely enchanting hidden plaza, with its tiny shop against one wall, serenades you with its silence and solitude, and invites you in to sample some of the finest chocolates that the world has to offer! Hershey? Nestle? Never heard of 'em. This is real cacao, folks, for real enthusiasts, coming in hard or soft, rich or dark, and filled with everything from pistachio cream to red chili peppers, and a whole lot more! Brands and flavors you have never seen (and quite possibly may never see again) can be found here! If you have a sweet tooth of any level (even one that is virtually non-existent, as mine is), you're still likely to find a chocolate concoction of some sort to pleasure your palate!
