In fact all their pan dulce is on the large size. Some of the pan dulce are wrapped in plastic, don't know why. Their churros are very good. It was busy today on new year's eve, everyone was buying huge piles of pan dulce. They also sell ice cream, only one had a lable which was Tamarindo. Another looked like lime, Another dark red maybe raspberry. I am pretty sure one was mango. Next to the ice cream is a Raspado station, like shave ice. They also make Magonadas. I have to come back in the summer to try all of these. They also have gelintinas, flan regular, caramel flan and chocoflan, cheeses and fried potato chips on a stick. Then there's deli/food section. They had lots of taquitos fried up ready to go. They have tamales we'll come back to try those It was so hot today we had to have some Raspados at Sweet Dreams Delight bakery in Seaside. Freshly made while you wait, so good on a hot day. Flavors to choose from: pineapple, cherry, blue raspberry, lime and mango. We thought they had closed for the day, but Richard was kind enough to open the door, welcome us in, and share a little history about how this shop has been run by his family for decades. We got to try a couple pieces of salt water taffy and although I've never really been much of a taffy person, the taffy that they make in-house was perfectly chewy and we especially enjoyed the coconut caramel so we left with an assorted bag to try. We may have been converted into taffy people after this... but even if taffy isn't your thing, they have plenty of other sweets to choose from so make sure you stop by and say hi to Richard!

When it came to us (asians) the owner kept telling us to buy from the outside pre-packed ones, while others were able to pick their own flavor. I wanted certain flavors as I do not like all of the flavors they have in the mixed taffy pack. I would not recommend coming here if you are asian. We ended up leaving empty handed because they were like "i have a lot of customers waiting" oh well, as if we were not customers. Don't open a business if you are treating your customers differently!

Everything about it was wrong. The dryness of the bread, the apparent lack of butter, the use of powdered milk, the overly sugariness of the almond paste itself. The marina coffee shop used to carry an almond croissant from another bakery, which I was really looking forward to. So when I bit into this one, I was immensely disappointed. Taste is subjective so I can't say that it's terrible, but I really wanted to throw out the remainder of what I was eating.
