My friends and I had a wonderful evening here for Galentine's! We reserved our seating online about 2 weeks prior. You first pick out your vessel for your candle, there's lot of size and price options. Next, you pick out your scent and color. There are a LOT of scents, so take your time. The first part of this is the longest, and when you get to actually pouring your candle, it takes about 10 mins. My friends and I stayed a little while and enjoyed our drinks! We returned about an hour and a half later to pick up our candles. Online it says it'll take about 2 hours, but from start to finish, it really is only about 30-45 mins, so keep that in mind. We had made reservations next door at the champagne and chocolate place for 2 hours after our start time here. But we ended up asking if they had an earlier seating since we were done so much earlier. This is a wonderful place for a date night or a girls night out! read more

I like the options that they offered for both containers and scents, the variety of scents was rather impressive with over 100 scents to choose from. We each had a glass of wine which was reasonably priced. The service was excellent, our attendant was very attentive, friendly, and helpful. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is for cost and time. It's pretty pricy and the candle making takes 10 min. If you make a huge candle you can't take it home when you are done as it has to set. This was a fun experience. We went for a friends birthday and had a blast. Our staff person, Kayla, is awesome. She spent time with us and really helped us figure out what we wanted. You also get to order wine, beer or non-alcoholic beverages. Lots of choices for candle holders and scents. We were the only group when we went so we had two hours to ourselves. We came here for a holiday work event. The place is very cute and the employees are very friendly and welcoming. They help you through the whole process. We were allowed to provide catered snacks and they serve a good variety of wines. If you are sensitive to smells this might not be a great place as it is quite fragrant with the many scents available to make candles. Overall we had a lovely evening and it was very fun for a work event. My takeaway is that it's rather pricey for what you actually get. The candle receptacles are very expensive for what they are. We had a price cap considering this was paid for by the work group. We were given options in the $40 range. I got a mason jar style one that was a pint size. I had wanted to do wax melts as they advertised as an alternative on their website but when we arrived I was informed that I wasn't allowed to make that as my candle option which seemed odd since it would have been less expensive than the actual candle option being that I wouldn't need a glass receptacle. Anyhow, I settled for the mason jar. Once we all figured out what scents we wanted to use we were walked through the process of making the candles. It was very simple and rather fast. Almost seemed too fast considering the price points and such. We really just stirred in scent, color, and glitter if we wanted. I opted for a single scent and some decorative glitter no color since the mason jar I chose was green. It took me about 5-10 minutes total to mix my candle and then I sat there as the employee tidied away the tools we used. So kind of lack luster in terms of an activity. Also, since the wax was so hot all the glitter sank to the very bottom of the candle which was disappointing. I did find some bigger sequin like glitter that floated at the top that I put on at the last minute before things were tidied away. We were not able to take the candles with us since they needed to cool and set so the employee had taken them to cool somewhere else. So there was no way to try to stir the glitter as it cooled. One of my coworkers picked up everyone's candles and brought them to us at work which was so sweet of her. The candle still turned out cute but $40 for a more or less basic candle seems very expensive. Keep in mind wine is paid by the glass so the $40 is a single 16oz candle with some scent and glitter. I get it, it's the experience and the time with friends. However, I wouldn't go back to do this again it just wasn't that great. The painting and wood working parties are way more interactive and fun and seem more cost efficient for the final product. Lastly, when I burn my candle I can smell the scent I chose, but it also has a very chemical smell that gives a weird effect and a headache. I am nearly 100% sure this is the smell of the chemicals from the scents used to give fragrance to the candles especially since all my glitter is still firmly at the very bottom of my candle and has not yet been burned. The chemical smell is off putting. It makes me concerned for my health from the toxicity of whatever is producing the smell. So, I won't continue to burn this candle which is another reason I would say this is overpriced for the end result. Again it was a fun enough experience with coworkers and we enjoyed visiting with each other. I just wouldn't ever do this again or recommend it to my friends as a social thing for a girls night or something. Also, I had to wash my hair immediately as it was permeated with the smell of the candle fragrances and wax that filled the air in this place. I smelled like a yankee candle store when I left. Came for a girls trip to visit with my mother and aunt. The staff was friendly and helpful. The pricing is great because it's adjustable based on the container you choose for your candle. They have great wines and drinks to enjoy while you candle. The candles take about 45mins- 1 hour to dry. You can leave them and pick up next day if you have the time. The only downside was that the scent was very overwhelming. If you are sensitive to artificial scents, the environment is small and the scents are strong. At this candle spot they give you melted wax and you dump it into whatever "vase" you want for your candle. My boyfriend and I went with another couple. Perfect place for time with friends. The girls wanted quiet girl time with wine while the guys were having band practice. But this spot isn't just for the gals. There were several couples of all ages here on a late Saturday afternoon / evening. Juliette welcomed us in and had a table for four reserved for us and all set up, complete with aprons. She took our wine orders and showed us the wall to check out candle containers and the area for scents. And showed us the "menu" for container and fill prices. The menu is set up for first timers and returners. Each menu item shows a picture of the container, lists the container price, and the price and ounces for the wax and scent. So if you are returning with a container from a previous visit, your refill fees are easy to figure. Very simple, but Juliette was there to answer any questions. They offer soy, or soy and paraffin mix for wax. Three sections of scent flavors, and if you still can't find your desire, they will help you mix one. You even have variety of colors for your wax. Be careful- colors will change as the wax hardens. The wine selection was very nice. It ranged from bubbles, whites and reds. A very decent variety. You can purchase by the glass or bottle. We were easily 3 hours. It took a while to choose containers, there was a variety of shapes, colors and sizes. Then scent. And lots of wine and chatter as we seriously watched the wax set. It really was cool to watch the liquid color cloud up and lighten as the wax hardened. The owner and Juliette were so friendly and fun. Parking is a breeze. I was a little skeptical about how candle making could be a full on Immersive and social experience, but the staff and setting here really encourage you to take your time with the candle making process and interact with your group along the way. We came in for a birthday celebration with a group of 6 and we were walked through the process step by step with helpful hints and tips along the way. You can do anything from a basic small votive to a massive 4 wick with added scents, color, and GLITTER. This was such a fun experience! They also have a pretty good selection of beverages to choose from to loosen you up and get those festive juices flowing. They offer non-alcoholic options too for those who don't imbibe! The one downfall is that this process can be pretty expensive depending on what size and container you choose, so it's not a weekly experience. I was kidnapped by a lovely group of ladies and brought here for a Mother's Day Saturday girl's day out. This was my first visit, and I have to tell you, it was so much fun! You start by picking the jar/container you want to make your candle in. They have a ton of choices, so many lovely options I had a heck of a time trying to choose! You get to pick your scent, even mix and match flavors, whatever you want in your personal candle. Tints for the wax, glitter for the top, the options are limitless. They have a great wine list, and even non-alcoholic options for those that want it. We had a bottle of the best sparkling wine too, Gemma de Luna Moscato, and we got a great story from Patrick about the origins of the Tiffany blue diamond inspired label. The staff is what truly makes the experience. They're all fabulous. They help guide you through the process, offer suggestions, crack jokes, tell stories, it made the time spent there so much fun! Prepare yourself though, you likely won't get to take your candle home as it does take time for the wax to set completely, and the larger candle you make the longer it will take to harden. I've been in twice, and she remembers me each time and when I pick up our finished candles. Honestly, give this girl a raise because I want to go in just for her. The entire experience is everything. The options are limitless, so I recommend going in with an idea of what you are looking for, at least for your scent. Because their wall of scents is usually what's going to hold you up. There are so many options. I'm a slut for books and am obsessed with some characters. So each time I've been in I know I'm going in to create a candle based of the scent of these favorite characters. I recommend the same for you. Maybe not characters, but just know what you like. Don't waste yours or their time sniffing each bottle on the wall. Though if you do, there's a fancy little jar of coffee beans to cleanse your sniffer. I love glitter. You can add glitter to your candle. Do it. It's fun. It's beautiful. They may question your choices of making 75% of your candle wax glitter, but do it. It's okay. When it burns later, it's beautiful and aesthetic. Everything you hoped for and more. Don't be afraid to mix scents. As Rockie will tell you, if it smells awful, just gift it. It's Christmas time. It'll make an ideal White Elephant gift. Or just keep it. This was our first experience here today, my daughter and I came after we had eaten lunch. We were greeted shortly after entering, asked if we had a reservation and shown where to sit. We were given a beverage menu and after ordering diet cokes given a run down of the cost and what to do. The containers and wax cost are separate so pretty pricey. We chose our containers, scents which they had a lot to choose from and our colors. The girl who helped us got our wax and instructed us on measuring and mixing everything and once our wicks were set poured the wax. And we were done, it took all of a half hour and we had s choice to leave and come back or wait the hour or longer for the candles to dry! We hadn't expected that and thought it would take longer. Wow this was a great experience. Came here on Valentine's Day and they had fresh red roses on every table which was such a nice touch. We were immediately greeted by the owner, Patrick, and he couldn't have been nicer. We were seated and began the candle making process. Patrick took our drink orders and each drink was reasonably priced. They had a really nice, varied selection of vases and tons of scents which seemed really high quality. The scents ranged from floral to unique scents like "library" and "whiskey". Our total for 2 candles and our drinks was $100 and the process took about an hour and a half.
