We were very impressed with the staffs maturity, communication skills, and patience. They followed safety procedures, and helped nervous people achieve the goal they were trying to reach. I have a bossy younger sister, and the staff members handled her very politely, kind, and patiently. Threat team building experience. We as a family, can't say enough good things about this place, people, & program.

This truly just isn't another ropes course or zip lining facility. They are focused on team building, problem solving, and having the best time while doing it all! We had 20 kids ranging in age from 8 - 10 and Mark our faciliator went above and beyond to make sure all the kids had a great experience. Wrangling 20 kids for four hours is a talent in and of itself, but to teach them life skills and problem solving techniques while participating in each challenge gave them a ALL STAR RATING in my book! We brought in pizza, snacks, and cookies for the birthday party and then Mark and Cannon took the kids after for four full hours of outdoor adventure. Even after our four hour window was done, Mark and Cannon said they would stay a little longer to help some of the kids climb higher on the ropes course. That is definitely going above and beyond! It's such a beautiful area and all the equipment is in great shape. They pay attention to all the safety guidelines and make sure everybody knows what the rules are before starting a new challenge. Safety is of utmost importance which as a Mom makes me so happy! Having 20 daredevils (boys) wanting to swing from every tree top, can make one very nervous! :) I would absolutely recommend Project Discovery to all my friends and family as well as co-workers. This is a great facility for birthday parties, team building, sports team building, or just having fun for an afternoon with your friends! We'll definitely be booking again in the future!

It has been years since I've done any climbing (over 10) and I had a friend that really wanted to…read moretry it out. So I looked up their beginner's class and booked us an hour long session online. I was also able to fill out the waiver online and confirmes it via email, as well. When you arrive you sign in at the desk and they provide you with climbing shoes if you need them. Our instructor did a great job of showing us around the facility before jumping right into the lesson. We started by warming up and then practicing some light falls before jumping into different techniques for bouldering in the starting room (also known as the children's room). Next, we went out to the main room and chose some beginners routes to climb. Finally, we finished by getting our harnesses on (also provided if needed) and clipping into the autobelay devices on the full climbing wall outside. After our lesson concluded and she gave us pointers to work on, our instructor let us know we had a day pass and could stay as long as we wanted since we paid for the class. She also let us know that they have monthly events like ladies night and DJ night that can be booked online or via phone call. They're limiting numbers right now and you can't climb with regular belays unless you've passed their tests and bring your own rope (since they can't be sanitized) but if you're looking for a great free climbing gym or climbing via autobelay routes, this is the place! I may invest in a membership one of these days, especially since they offer a student discount!

I love this gym! It's more of a bouldering gym but it has a wicked price of only $30/month (yearly…read moremembership). There's free yoga and core classes for members and you get a free pass for a friend once a month. It seems everyone agrees that it's a "soft" gym - the V-ratings are easier to complete than the same rating at a different gym but man it makes you feel good! I think we just have really good setters who understand the flow of the climb. Community night is on Tuesday and you meet tons of like-minded climbers there!

Our route started at Black Rabbit Mead and rolled through Ole Bridge Pub, Social Tap, and Our Bar, before wrapping things up at The Depot next door. If you've got a big group, book the private rental--it's totally worth it. Smaller crew? Grab a few individual seats and still join the fun. The staff is awesome, and the follow car makes you feel like a local celeb as you cruise downtown. Pro tip: show up at least 30 minutes early. Black Rabbit gets crowded with multiple groups starting or ending their rides, which can slow down service and eat into your bike time.

They recommended we get there 15 minutes early, but I would definitely try to get there at least 30 to 45 minutes before to ensure you aren't cutting into your reservation time, so you can decorate, mingle, and grab a drink in Black Rabbit Mead before take off. Your time ends at the 2 hr mark regardless of when you take off. We got there as recommended and there was only one bartender for a massive group of us and another group who reserved a bike for the day, so it was pretty chaotic and took much longer than expected. I would also recommend knowing which stops you want to go to. There is a list online, so come prepared and enjoy! Overall the driver was fantastic as was the experience. We will definitely be reserving another bike in the future!

We were greeted by a very friendly and welcoming young lady who took the time to explain all they offered on the menu. She made me an amazing vanilla latte-way better than Starbucks! The stuffed French Toast was amazing! Syrup was provided, but not needed. The scrambled eggs were also done very well and served by whom I assume was the chef. My husband had the shirred eggs, which he described as "Perfect and yummy. A perfect portion of bread and eggs." And the ambience so fun and unique! It was fun to walk around to look at all the art as we waited for our food and as we ate. They have paint parties Wednesday-Sundays. I wish I had known that before so we could have participated! I got a chicken salad sandwich on a croissant to go to eat on the train back to California (I haven't eaten that yet, but I'm sure it will be good!) I don't see myself returning to Reno, but if I ever do, I will definitely go back there and add Paint Night to the itinerary!!

I'm not sure if that's the norm or not since it was our first time. Secondly.. it took forever to order. Such a cute place and feels like a hidden gem! Would love to take a paint class.
