My experience from the first call talking to the receptionist, to the proof of concept, and the final product. I ordered a custom embroidered logo that was pretty detailed containing 7 colors. I think an average logo is 3 to 5 colors. With all the colors my Winey Munkies logo came out great! Before they took the risk of just placing the embroidery on my nice Adidas polo, I received a preliminary logo on a piece of fabric just incase there needed to be any modifications. The mock logo was great and I placed the order. A couple days later I picked up my shirt after a courtesy call from the receptionist letting me know it was complete. When I picked up my shirt all the staff was super friendly and interested in my thoughts about the final product. Finding reliable screen printer and embroiderer is not an easy task if you just go through the phone book or a Google search. You can not go wrong if you choose to use "Reno's Premier Decorator of Quality Apparel Since 2000."

Hired this locally owned business to remodel master bath 7 years ago. Thought all was well even…read morethough Louise and her assistant failed to show placement on drawings of where lighting should be so my husband thankfully who is capable figured it out along w/the misplaced light fixtures. We found cabinets we wanted but we were convinced by Louise to go w/her 'custom cabinet builder', Dick Wetzell who owns Desert Wood Products as these would be custom made and painted to withstand years of use. Fast forward 1 year as paint started to chip after 4 months. Louise told us to deal with Dick directly which we did for 2 years. Finally, he repainted them, but again after a year they chipped, peeled and cracked. Long story short, Louise failed to assist us and Dick played games w/us to the point of it was too late to contact the General Contractors Board to file a complaint. Six months ago I reached out to Louise to show her once again the rapidly declining cabinets and she told us to deal directly w/her only, not Dick. We found a painter who would repaint the cabinets and since we were told by Louise a catalytic lacquer was used cabinets would not need to be sanded to bare bones so we were given a quote and Louise graciously(?) agreed to cover half the cost. After painter took cabinet door to Reno Paint Mart as he was not convinced this type of lacquer was used, and Reno Paint Mart confirmed it was not, it was decided sanding to raw wood would need to be done otherwise it would chip, and peel a 3rd time. Due to the extra sanding, the quote went up $300 and when I told Louise (3 days after original quote) she refused to pay anymore money and refused to share the color code used for cabinets. After my contacting Louise to discuss our situation she would hang up on me, not answer my emails, phone calls or texts. I finally received her portion ( less than half) one month after I requested her payment and she refused to pay me until I signed a 'release' and had her staff meet me at her office as she would not mail me a check and she had them tell me this 'release' would be notarized. I laughed as there was no notary present and was surprised she'd try an illegal stunt such as that, but I was hoping she would. I called her on it and she became crankier than usual. We paid too much money for faulty workmanship and we ended up paying an additional $2 k to have cabinets repainted 7 years later. Avoid Desert Wood Products and Louise Gilmartin who is the most unprofessional Designer in town!

I was specifically looking for a rattlesnake calathea and wasn't having much luck finding one. I reached out to Urban Scout and they had 2 in stock so I asked if he could hold on until 4 pm(about 6 hours after I reached out). I show up at 4 and Ken was working. I mentioned I had reached out about the Calathea and he instantly pulled it out from behind the register. Soooo nice! I was an environmental major in college, and I also collect house plants so the world of plants is super important and exciting to me. Ken was nice enough to not only show me around, but told me a bunch of cool facts about all these plants that I never even knew existed (such as, the rattlesnake calathea spreads out in the day time when its receiving light and will become more vertical as the sun goes down!) I went into the store looking for one specific plant and ended up leaving with 4! The service was enough to keep me coming back until the end of time! I had a great time learning new things and checking out all the beautiful plants. Ken gave me advice on some plant care for the new plants I picked up, and was very enthusiastic with me. This was extra cool because as I mentioned, this field is really important to me and it was totally inspiring to see someone share the same passion. The prices are very reasonable, and honestly lower than a lot of the other speciality plant stores in Reno. I'll 100% be back!

Kruses always has the best selection of baby chicks in the area, ranging from all the expected breeds to those wacky and rare ones too. Seeing all of them made my head spin because I really had no idea what the breeds looked like as adults nor what kind of eggs or temperaments to expect. The staff was super helpful and showed me a big chart on the wall detailing it all! We ended up with 10 and 2 ducks, representing 5 breeds! I decided I wanted a third of one breed (buff brahma) and sent a friend to get it but they sent her home with the wrong one. Oh well. We got an extra solid egg layer so it makes no difference. I hear they can get just about any breed you want, so be sure to ask. I'm headed back soon because I need some more food for these little gals! I love Kruses!

They had a great set up, with cutting boards and food to try the knives out. After 10 minutes cutting with various demo knives, we bought a set of five. After much anticipation, our knives came in the mail about 4 weeks later. We have had them for about 3 months now, and these have become our favorite knives. The Hammer Stahl knives are nicer than any Wusthof or Zwilling knives we have bought previously. They are razor sharp, have full tangs and beautiful wood inlaid handles, and have a lovely heft and balance to them. They almost make prep a pleasure!
