I highly recommend Action Embroidery & Design Inc for your next custom apparel order! What did they do right you might be wondering, EVERYTHING! My experience from the first call talking to the receptionist, to the proof of concept, and the final product. I ordered a custom embroidered logo that was pretty detailed containing 7 colors. I think an average logo is 3 to 5 colors. With all the colors my Winey Munkies logo came out great! Before they took the risk of just placing the embroidery on my nice Adidas polo, I received a preliminary logo on a piece of fabric just incase there needed to be any modifications. The mock logo was great and I placed the order. A couple days later I picked up my shirt after a courtesy call from the receptionist letting me know it was complete. When I picked up my shirt all the staff was super friendly and interested in my thoughts about the final product. Finding reliable screen printer and embroiderer is not an easy task if you just go through the phone book or a Google search. They are so good about helping me when I have a crazy deadline to get clothing finished and shipped back to me. I can bring in my own clothing or they help me find what I need from their suppliers. My son's football team used this company for one of their fundraisers - parents, family, etc., were given choices of clothing items and the like with the team logo and also offered was a black bag for the boys' football equipment. The bag was touted as being bigger than the boys' current bag (gray and black), so I purchased one for my son, in addition to other items. Well, the sweatshirts I ordered were fine, however, I as VERY DISAPPOINTED with the black bag offered. The price for the bag was $35 and I gladly paid believing the team's logo would be on the bag, just like all the other items ... I mean, what's the point of buying these items WITHOUT THE DARN LOGO??!!. When I finally got my order, it was a big, PLAIN , black bag with NO LOGO whatsoever. I saw a similar bag - same size and color - at the corner gas station for $9.99!!!! WHAT A RIP-OFF!!!!!!!!!!! If they weren't going to put a logo on the bag, they should have lowered the price to at least $20, and I would have been fine with that ... but $35.00 WITH ABSOLUTELY NOTHING on the bag??!!! SIMPLY PRICE GOUGING and if my son's football team uses them again this season, I will definitely voice my opinion AND NOT ORDER!!! read more

These guys rock! Read the whole story... We needed 8 commemorative hats for a trip we were taking to the Amazon. So I reached out to Action Embroidery with our art work. 4 days before we were set to get on the plane we were presented with a mess. The hats were the wrong color and the sticking was sub par. This was not the full fault of AE we were equally at fault. The art work we provided needed some tweaking and we did discuss multiple color combinations. So with one day to spare they jumped thru the hoops - ordered new hats, messaged the art work and presented us with new awesome looking hats. Now that is customer service that goes above and beyond. All that for a small order of just 8 hats. We are thrilled and will go back in the future. read more

Ordered hats and shirts for our business from them. The shirts looked good, but the hats were un-usable. They stitched the logos off center and crooked on several of the hats. They looked terrible. When I sent them back and asked for a refund they responded (after I followed up again) saying something about the a margin of error that is acceptable in their industry or something. Look, I don't care about technical details, the truth is I trusted in your guidance and expertise and what I received was a product that I would not give to clients or sell to customers. My company used this embroiderer for a bulk set of corporate giveaways. At no point did they communicate with us, we were given zero information regarding our order and had no clue of when it would be completed. The average time we waited for an email response was about 6 - 8 business days. I think it would be beneficial for the companies that work with Action to rethink their contracts, especially when the order total is in the tens of thousands...The best part is, once we finally received our order, the stitching was subpar. read more

I brought in two jackets to have our company logo embroidered and was advised theyll call me when ready for pick up. That was before Thanksgiving day. After two weeks, i followed up, and told that it's not ready yet and that theyll give me a call when ready for pick up. Today, December 30, called again to follow up, was asked of the reason for my call, and then was told to hold. I just dont understand while waiting for about 5 minutes, someone just hung the call. I redialled and was advised again that theyll give me call. One reviewer claimed that one star is too high for this business. The final product is great. BUT... I would never recommend this company to any business. I work for a company who places several orders a year--needing our logo placed on various clothing and luggage pieces. I have had to follow up on EVERY order several times to make sure it is going to get done and shipped to us on time. They don't respond to emails in a timely fashion, they don't call back in a timely fashion, they tell you the ship date and then it doesn't happen as planned. Orders are written by hand with no computer tracking so if you call and ask why an order is late or to inquire if your order has been shipped (because it's already LATE) they may not know the answer (this has happened) b/c the "shop" guys have gone for the day and they can't ask them or find our order anywhere. Go elsewhere if you care about customer service and timely, business like outcomes. Save yourself the frustration! read more
