I came to this shop for custom patches. I spoke to the employee to make sure to get what I was asking for. Upon picking up the patches I was disappointed to see the quality and effort, or lack there of, that was put into my product. The stitching is blurry and to condensed as I was worried about. The edges around the patches are nowhere near straight or clean cut. Im very disappointed my hard earned money went into this. My kids attend a school where uniforms are required and our school choice for embroidery is Millers. We've been getting our uniforms embroidered here since my daughter and son were in kindergarten and it's still the same, amazing! Nothing has changed with their wonderful service other than expanding and also price increases. We normally take our uniforms down a month before school starts as they do get busy: our school is not part of Washoe County so we start month or more after which is a good restart for them, I'm sure! We took in 12 items and noticed the price increase very quickly. They offer military discount which is awesome! I've been coming here for years and don't have enough to say about them, all good. The consummate professionals they definitely subscribe to the customer is always right. This for me was a fortunate accident as I had been ordering my uniforms from a vendor out of So. Cal. that went from a centralized warehouse operation to a more franchise based model some ten or so years ago. When that happened Millers Jackets was that local vendor for me. They do a great job here and they're very timely in their work. Be it alterations, ordering uniforms, jackets, embroidery, they pretty much do it all and I've never seen anything but a smiling friendly face. Incidentally, it's worth mentioning ('cause I nearly forgot) their pricing is super reasonable, you won't find them off par with the competition (not sure they even have a real true competitor in the area just because they have so much to offer). As I said, the customer is always right and when I say that it's almost to a fault, but really my own. I asked them once to take in a pair of pants they'd already measured and hemmed in house; they had it right the first time and now they're too short. Totally my fault on that one; point being you should trust their work as I should have on that occasion and I have ever since. Definitely go to Millers School Jackets! read more

I would think twice about having this company do any work. I dropped off two shirts for my daughter last Friday, April 22, 2016 to have her school's name embroidered and was told to come back today, Friday, April 29, 2016. ( A week to embroider two polos?). I stop by this afternoon to pick-up the shirts. They're not done. I told the employee that I was told they would be done today and he replied with as much sarcasm as he could muster, that today wasn't over and that the shop closed at 5:00pm. Twice. Nonplussed, I asked to talk with the "boss". Another guy, no name, no greeting, no customer service comes to me and asked if I received a call from him. I said, no and that he never said he would call. I state that if this is the way they treat customers that I would inform the school and everyone I could not to use this company. He asked my name. I said why would that matter? He replied that if I was going to go to the school and online that he wanted my name and grabbed the work order out of the trash. Well, I have no problem stating my name, John Saragosa. I received horrible service. I was mocked. Services were not performed as stated. And I will not use this company for anything in the future. read more

I use Millers extensively for the apparel of my entire engine crew. The price is much less than the company that was used before and the quality is just as good, if not better. I also have my Masonic apparel stitched there and it has always looked great. It's hard for me to imagine that there is a better place to have apparel embroidered in the Reno, Sparks, or Carson area. read more
