Very bad communication and rude Manager. I wasn't told my uniform was going to take 2 weeks or maybe longer to be ready. If I was told that in the moment I was in store purchasing I wouldn't have ordered with them as I did need it in 1 week and a half. Manager basically stated he was present when the employee was helping me and said " I was there when they told you, you probably just didn't hear". I'm sure I would've heard that clearly when I asked. I wasn't reaching out to argue nor be rude just wanted an update. I didn't appreciate the managers attitude, so asked for a refund. read more

I recently went here to buy more scrubs as the scrub store and other locations are ungodly expensive and this place was referred to me by a friend. The staff inside was very nice and asked if I needed any help and was polite in offering to use their fitting room to try on the garments. They carry almost every size, so it was easy to find matching sets. The location is a bit hard to find as it is after the costco shopping center turn off on plumb but before the motel. It's a very immediate turn so I recommend to drive slow into the turn in so you don't miss it. Definitely recommend for your scrub needs. I saw they had had other uniforms for law enforcement and trade workers, so you might call to see what they carry. It was an easy shopping experience and I'll be back for more scrubs. read more

I was in need of a new duty belt for work. Several of the people I work with informed to go to Reno Uniforms and bring my credentials to receive a discount. As I enter the stores I was greeted immediately and offered help. Upon looking through their selection I didn't see a belt I wanted and spoke to an employee. He informed me that he could order it or go to try two other stores in town. I personally appreciate his honesty. How many businesses will inform a customer of their competitors? I ended up buying a duty belt that they had in stock, and when I get my yearly uniform Allowance I'll order a leather belt. Terrible customer service. The owner wouldn't exchange my radio holder after purchasing it there for another molle radio holder. Long time customer. The radio holster was broken. I suggest first responders do not go here. Its not worth it. The wife of the owner is very helpfu, but the male owner also failed to call me when the radio holder was in and told me I had the product too long and doesn't do exchanges. I used to purchase all of my uniform needs through here. I went to nursing school, i've bought my EMT uniforms through them, I've bought my duty belt needs through them - However, I will now no longer be going through this company. I will now be using Amazon or literally anything else. I had a pair of gloves that I bought (StrongSkyn) and their "sizing guide" didn't work for me. I took the gloves back, with the receipt, to do an exchange - It was denied because it didn't have the packaging tags (which were torn off once I put the gloves on my hand). So I had to buy a brand new set of gloves (here's to hoping these ones actually fit!). The gloves that I couldn't exchange I left with the employee, who i'm assuming will throw them away - which is exactly how I feel like as a customer. Thrown away. BUY ONLINE! Better customer service will be found elsewhere. EDIT; Owner claims I made this mysterious purchase online and not at their store. My receipt, which clearly shows my name and phone number, was dated 10/3/2019 at 4:04pm. I found Reno Uniforms while exploring Midtown Reno on a Saturday afternoon. The building is nicely painted a dark grey with a lime green trim easy to spot. Parking is located in the back of the building, its handicap accessible. The store is very clean & nicely organized with a huge selection of scrubs, uniforms, clothing & tactical gear! If you need any embroidery or alterations done they can take care of that as well! They are literally a one-stop shop. They have great prices & excellent customer service. I was greeted immediately as I entered the shop & offer assistance, I declined I was just planning on browsing. Before I walked to the ladies section I was offered a beverage from there fancy Coffee/ Tea machine which was a nice gesture. The staff is very knowledgeable about their merchandise. Very knowledgeable staff. Just got a new job in corrections, hadn't even started academy so it was a bit intimidating shopping for the uniform. The entire staff was very friendly and helpful from the second I walked in. The knew what I needed and supplied me different bands to try to find the best fit. They also embroidered my uniforms and hemmed them, that same day. I explained I live about 1.5 hours away, so the asked if I could hang out in Reno and they'd rush and get them done in 2 hours. I have mixed feelings about my last experience here! Al the times we have been in this store it has been good. I tried to find them when they moved and I couldn't, my gosh took me to another location.. without getting into the dirty details of my call with the rude nasty girl on the phone to get me to the new location, as I am not that familiar wit Reno... she was nothing less than confuse ding, snotty rude and not very good at giving directions ... considering I gave her very detailed info as to where I was! I was next door at one point, one the side of side street and across the street at one point abd she still couldn't tell me how to get there and had the nerve to say .. "I told you 17 times...." What a smart a$$! The visit was redeemed my a very kind sakes lady from Tennessee!! Such a doll! She knew I was frustrated and knew why! She heard the conversation and said that girl is always rude! We purchase high priced boots from this shop so if this lady didn't save my experience, I want going to come back! One suggestion, should carry more sizes in your Danners please! Really nice staff, but the customer service was horrendous. They didn't have the size scrubs I needed, so I asked if I could place an order, and they said "absolutely." Over the course of a month, I tried calling 4 times about my order, and each time I was given the response "let me check the computer/system, and we'll call you right back," and they never did. (Which is why I called so many times). It got so bad to the point where I needed these scrubs in the next couple days because I had been waiting so long - so one morning I tried calling 3 times on a row, and no one ever picked up. THEN I had my girlfriend call from her number, and they picked it up on the first ring (coincidence?) In the end, I didn't receive my order, and I ended up having to purchase the scrub brand that I didn't want, which was the whole reason I was so proactive about ordering the scrubs I wanted in the first place, a month in advance. read more

I hate to have to give them this review because they have been great the other two times. But I went in today and ordered new uniforms and spending $300+. I also brought in my ONLY long sleeve shirt for a button because it fell off. I also brought in my ONLY jacket and wanted a badge sewed on. The lady I talked to was super nice and told me they would have the shirt that needed only one button and the jacket done by 230pm and the rest of the uniforms done at the end of the week which is totally fine. So my girlfriend goes to pick up the shirt and jacket at 530pm and the guy is working says it won't be ready until the following afternoon, after I was told the shirt and jacket would definitely be done today, she even talked to the lady who was going to do the work to make sure it would be done. So now I have to wear a short sleeve shirt and have no jacket for graveyard tonight. To say I'm irritated would be an understatement. If they would have told me they wouldn't be done the same day I would have totally understood and went to a sew shop somewhere else for the time being. I will be back but I would appreciate not being told something and them not coming through especially after spending over $600+ over 3 visits. *************UPDATE************ Although I was upset with my service on the previous day their work speaks for itself. I was really hoping to get a good experience from this store as I needed items for the academy I was attending. Nonetheless, it was unknown to me that there wasn't a return policy as the pants they hemmed didn't fit. In addition, the soles of the boots I purchased fell apart the first day of use. Took 1 top there 3 weeks ago for simple embroidery. Called after 2 weeks & they said they lost the top. Told me they would look and get back to me, never called. I followed up 2 days later and was told they found the top & it was being worked on next and it would be ready end of day and someone would call. No one called. Gave it another 2 days and followed up again. Was told once more it was being worked on as we were on the phone & someone would call within next few hours. Again, no surprise, no call. Maybe they do a good job for health care workers, but I am not happy with them for law enforcement uniforms. After a couple of mediocre experiences here, I decided to leave a review. The staff is nice enough but not always the most helpful, and the accuracy with getting uniforms done isn't great. They pretty much cater to a couple of agencies and otherwise, you're out of luck. This review has nothing to do with Covid, solely on the business. Absolutely horrible customer service, they are friendly but in the most condescending and rude way. They don't carry the sizes they claim to so they'll order your size without telling you they need to order it before hemming it. I was told it would take a week. It's been 5 weeks and they still haven't started. They don't carry female ems clothes either, the jackets are all designed for men, so if you have a chest, good luck, if you have a bottom also good luck, they will fat shame you and put your order off, without telling you or asking. My class starts in a week which is why I ordered it a month ago and they still don't have my order. I paid over 400$ for clothes from them. They are unhelpful, sexist for ems and very fat shaming to customers. Highly don't recommend. read more
