It's a great place. I'm also impressed by Woodford that they still make the replacement parts.

I come and and the guy rings the bell for will call. Wait 5 minutes and no one comes. Ring again. Someone comes. He spent 10 minutes trying to find my order and couldn't. Then I had to wait 15 minutes in line and then someone wrote up my order and I went to pay for it. They told me I had to drive somewhere a few blocks away to pick up my items. Fine. I did that. And I get there and they say they are out of stock of 3 of my four items. Why did they just sell me out of stock items and not tell me. Now I have to call on the phone and convince them I didn't actually get the three items I paid for and they need to credit my card. I didn't have the time to drive 2 blocks and back wait in line again. Update: they don't take phone calls on the weekend, even though they are open. !!?! And all of this took an hour, which should have taken less than 5 minutes and completely messed up my whole day of scheduled events.

Honestly if you need something standard just go to Ace Hardware and save money. But if you need something different THIS is your go to store! They pretty much do everything hose related including some auto and diesel and hydraulic and I'm sure more. On a different note I needed to use the restroom. CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN! Always a pleasant surprise! I will definitely be back when I need other items.

Sierra Feed & Saddlery has become our number one place to buy wild bird seed. We love our wild…read morebirds and enjoy helping them get through the winter, by feeding them for the winter months. With that said it has been harder and harder to justify spending the money on seed because of the increasing prices or lack of quality at the big box stores. We normally buy the no mess blend from Moana Lane Nursery but at $59 for 20 pounds it hard to swallow. On a whim today we stopped here and took a look around. The very helpful gal at the counter pointed out the extensive selection of seed and yes they had a no mess 20 pound blend with a wide verity of seed in it. But how much is it? It is only $33, that's it. We will definitely be back and highly recommend stopping in.

This store has a lot of bulk bins for bird needs, such as chicken starter, scratch, meal worms, different seeds. I also saw some things for rabbits in the bulk bin area. It is a good way to try things or take care of your pets without buying everything in large packages. For example, if you are going to make a rare trip to chickadee ridge and need some bird seeds, you can use the bulk bin to get the amount you need for the hike. They have black oil sunflower seed in the bin too. This store carries organic chicken feed and also in a corn free soy free formula. They also sell poultry bedding which I didnt notice at another store. It contains de and zeolite already mixed in there. They sell stuff for horses and dogs too.

If you're gonna hire them to put in basic drip rock and a few plants, they're probably fine although where they lay the irrigation lines makes no sense at all, and makes it very difficult to plant after the fact which I had to do because 30% of what they planted died the first winter . They installed the water feature that has some type of leak underneath it because it is killing the evergreen trees behind it because they are getting overwatered. One of the drains for the water feature is a pipe that was 3 feet from the French drain that goes to the street so it was constantly a lake filled with water. The the irrigation pipes and electrical were run after the trees were planted right down the center section of that planting area which made it impossible to dig and replace the dead trees. I had to hire someone else to come out and reroute the irrigation line and the low-voltage lighting so that Moana could come out and plant replacement trees. Nothing they did make sense or was logical. It seemed to be the down and dirty quickest and cheapest way to get it done.
