$2 extra for this.
Klin L.

This was so bad. It literally tasted rotten. Overpriced "beef fajita" quesadilla is the thin cheap kind even though they charge $2 extra for it. It's also on a pretty small tortilla so it's not even a good size. Comes with rice and beans but no pico or toppings. The chicken fajita taco came with only chicken and a slice of American cheese, not kidding. The chicken is what tasted rotten and the texture was like canned chicken, like it just fell apart in a weird way and it tasted horrible. My son had a soggy grilled cheese sandwich. The fries were ok, so there's that. Seriously some of the worst Mexican food I've had in corpus. Some of the worst food in general.

Food is always Delicious, and hot! We love this restaurant, close to the Shoreline too. Will be back again. :)

Great TexMex, especially the Carne Gusada!!! We will return from San Antonio! Charro beans were delicious as well!

Just came down from Dallas Tx to visit my mom and she brought the family here to eat. The server and drinks were great but the food was very disappointing. We all left a good portion on our plates and just finished our drinks and left.

The nachos with ground beef. Watery because the lettuce used was not dried off well.

I ordered Chipotle chicken First I ordered the homemade flour tortillas with the plate, they were thick and underwhelming. Then I switched to the homemade corn, they were also thick and not any good The rice tasted old and reheated several times The chicken had a hint of chipotle taste but not spicy. The green peppers and onions were the freshest best part

Spicy Shrimp Dish - *WARNING* SUPER SPICY

Great food at Cancun. It's the old Goosefeathers building if you haven't been on that side of town in awhile. We had a huge party, they catered it well, one server and she knocked it out. The food came out super fast and was above average for mexican food in Corpus Christi. Clean restaurant, great margaritas and decent prices. Would come back here again! The tortilla soup is excellent and comes with all the fixins!

As a vegan, that made me excited because actual Mexican food usually has less cheese and can be made vegan. The business is quaint. There was a friendly hostess to welcome us in and our server was very hospitable. We ordered the chile relleno without cheese, zucchini in pasilla pepper sauce, and mole verde off the vegetarian options on the menu. We also enjoyed guacamole and chips. Our server was happy to accommodate our vegan modifications and it was really easy to communicate with him. The flavors are just WOW! Hands down the best guacamole of my life. The sauces are vibrant and rich. Everything tasted so fresh. And the prices for this quality of food cannot be beat. My husband and I literally licked sauce off the plates to make sure we did not miss one ounce of that authentic Mexican flavor. This place is top of our list of businesses to visit next time we are in town visiting family. We had an incredible experience and cannot wait to continue to explore the vegetarian menu options.

I'm not a professional food critic, but I do know seasoning, regional Mexican flavors, and what well‑prepared food should taste like -- and this just wasn't it for us. The restaurant didn't feel well-kept, and it appeared that only one server and one cook were working, plus we and another couple were the only ones there. We were served chips and salsa to start. The salsa, a taquera‑style orange sauce, was actually the best part of the meal. The chips, however, were extremely hard, not fresh, and definitely not warm. They looked house‑made, but whatever they were fried in made them almost inedible. I ordered the ribeye street tacos, and the steak was overcooked, had an odd taste, and wasn't enjoyable. I asked for extra cilantro and onions, which didn't happen, and the chimichurri they brought out was basically oil with a few seasonings floating in it. I almost complimented the Dr Pepper because it had a unique sweetness -- until I realized why. The red glass had visible staining on the inside. When I wiped the rim with my napkin, it came off dirty. They also don't offer straws, so whatever residue was in that glass is what you end up drinking. Between the food quality, the cleanliness concerns, and the overall condition of the restaurant, this was a no for us. How this place has earned such high mentions is honestly beyond me.

The most authentic flavor item in my lunch was the refried beans that look like poop at first sight. Rice was bland with cumin flavor and the mole was the most disappointing. Might as well have called them regular enchiladas, the flavor was basic taco mix with a tiny taste of mole. Just a thick cumin or comino paste. Enchiladas should be dripping with sauce in the inside. These were dry tortillas that were barely garnished with sauce on top. The chicken inside was very flavorul but dry. Then the 16 oz lemonade was 4$ and it was super sour ! I never leave reviews. But this was truly disappointing.

The corn, the bacon wrapped jalapeños and the nachos with tinga chicken. The corn had something bitter in it I chalked it up to the lime, little to much but I'm sure can be ordered without. The bacon wrapped jalapeños were perfectly made and zero fire which I appreciate. The nachos were huge half corn tortillas with refried black beans and cheese when I added the chicken I didn't realize it would add 14 dollars to my nachos!! lol I honestly thought it made the nachos 14 dollars. The sweet tea is soooooo good So I said maybe based on my $59.00 lunch bill.

Naturally, I had to check it out--and let me tell you, this place absolutely lives up to the hype. I ordered the fish and shrimp dinner, and every bite was incredible. The seasoning on the rice, fish, and shrimp was spot-on, and the tortillas had that perfect, slightly charred finish that takes everything up a notch. Even the drink portions were generous--huge cups, which I appreciated. Service was friendly, the prices were very reasonable, and the overall experience was exactly what I was hoping for. I'm 100% coming back. Without a doubt, this is the best Mexican spot in Corpus Christi. Highly recommend to anyone looking for an authentic, delicious meal, with a family friendly ambience.

At first I noticed their seating capacity they can easily sit over 100 people in their restaurant. I also noticed alot of large trays flying out the door so alot of take out orders. 2 good signs so far. The decorations were meh... so so but I love the effort some restaurants don't even try Was seated right away and the server was super friendly. I ordered a beer and my friend ordered a Margarita wow they were only a dollar from 5-7pm great deal not sure if they were good but saw a few people ordering My chicken enchiladas were bomb . Stuffed with chicken and the green sauce was good. The rice was also really well seasoned and those beans also had good flavor. Alot of restaurants are struggling and prices are going up everywhere. They can't be that bad their name is legendary in corpus and they even have 2 locations. I do have a different palette than the locals but if I. Ever In town again I will give them another try
