We are new to RV'ing since June '18 but have needed to use the service department here a few times. A couple of instances of minor warranty work and then a potentially major ordeal with frozen pipes. In all our dealings with Mark (Service Rep) and Casey (Service Manager) we have been very pleased. They have gone above and beyond the call on a couple of visits and always been courteous and helpful. Mark has always assessed our needs and offered me several options starting with the cheaper options when possible. They have delivered on or earlier than our completion estimate in all cases. Also, would like to compliment their Walk-Thru Coordinator Bill McMillon. Recently, I went to pick up my trailer and (since I thought my tanks were still full), they let me use a camp site to drain my tanks. Turns out they drained them during service. Anyway, Bill came out to give me a hand and spent an hour with me answering my newbie questions and giving me advice and information that was awesome. So far this dealership has given us great service. Also a shout out to Mandy in the CW store. She is friendly always ready to help. She's also always ready to give suggestions on saving money on special offers, coupons and other things. She's awesome! read more

My husband and I would not recommend buying your camper from here. Robert and Shane helped us purchase our camper. Brand new, 42.5 ft Raptor. Our camper had 2 issues despite being brand new, one was being a control panel cover had become unglued and the other being a mattress that didn't fit the loft area (despite all of their efforts on trying to smash it down). We agreed to purchase the camper as long as these items were fixed on pick up. Robert and Shane both assured us that this wouldn't be a problem. Neither of these issues were fixed when we arrived to pick up the camper. We live 2 hours away and decided since we had already drove so far to bring it home and they assured us again that the items had been ordered and would be fixed soon. Robert was rude and lied to us a couple of different times when I called them to get an update. (We later found out he was fired, which didn't surprise us) Shane was nicer, but in the end he also did not follow through on his word either. Now Camping World is refusing to even help us on the mattress issue at all. They do not stand by their word, or their products. Take your business elsewhere. read more

After an attempted ROBBERY by a "roadside mechanic" called "Thomas", and he disabling our engine, we got towed once to an "RV repair" shop in Ga. We spent a week while the "mechanic" tried to figure out what was wrong, and winding up with a "band-aid" engine repair, then towed to another place after the "band-aid" failed two days later, and local repair people not being able to even look at our problem, we got towed a THIRD time. We got towed to CAMPING WORLD in Chattanooga and were blessed with a limited (electric only) campsite (campground is closed completely) while we waited to get into the shop. Our mechanic (A REAL MECHANIC!) P.K. diagnosed the problem within three hours, understood the previous (shade tree mechanic's bypass...that didn't work), ordered a part and had us on the road again with COMPLETE CONFIDENCE that the job was done right! This mechanic (P.K.) is a WORLD CLASS mechanic! Very hard to find in today's world. We highly recommend CAMPING WORLD OF CHATTANOOGA, and especially P.K. ...a REAL (no B.S.) mechanic! We had some major issues while traveling, not the least of which was tree damage to the roof of our RV. We stopped at Camping World in Chattanooga, TN and met with Mark & Ryan in the Service Dept. They went over the needed repairs, helped us get approval with our insurance company, and even provided a free full hook-up campsite while we waited for parts and approval. They were very professional, answered our questions, addressed all of our concerns, and did a wonderful job! We haven't been as lucky at other Camping World locations, but Camping World in Chattanooga, TN is one you can definitely trust! Paid 23k cash for a 2021 Salem Forester from Chattanooga location. Not only did I receive the run around on purchasing the unit, 6 months later I started to have multiple problems go wrong. There Good Sams, Warranty, etc is useless at camping world. Not only do they want you to wait to get serviced, then when you do service it, it takes them forever. The service tech actually hung up on me in Knoxville. Corporate is useless as their locations are. 2 different conversations with Corporate, same story. Facebook negative reviews, they reached out, then that was it, THEY HONESTLY ONLY WANT YOUR MONEY... Items are over priced in the store also. you can purchase same model items that they sell on Amazon way cheaper. Go to a smaller RV center where they actually care. Camping World in Chattanooga is the best place ever. I bought my camper there and had the best all round experience. As far as service is concerned they are best. I have had my camper in for warranty work and repairs. I have had the pleasure to work with Jessica Ervin each time and she is gem. She keeps me informed on the service progress and always recommends needed service with no pressure, just being mindful of whats needed to keep my camper in good working order. I live in Acworth close to another camping world and they don't hold a candle in there service department to the Chattanooga Camping World. We had stopped at a couple of other small dealerships and were virtually ignored and left to wander on our own. We have often passed camping world and they seemed to have a large selection. Upon entering we were greeted by a salesman named Tyson Terhune who sat us down and actually asked questions about what we were looking for. After a few minutes in which we explained our needs/wants and how much we'd want to spend. We settled on a gorgeous Elkridge. We really enjoyed the personal attention to our needs and Tyson really knew his stuff and guided us through a rather large purchase. The finance team was fantastic and Kylie really did a great job. Whether Winnebago (Adventurer, Itasca Suncruiser, Tour) or Entegra Anthem, Nick has consistently demonstrated advanced knowledge of a host of systems / systems integration. I have observed his expertise in a myriad of issues over the years with absolutely no need to recall him for rework of any type. He intervenes with warranty and extended warranty companies as required to do the right thing for the customer. Just purchased our first Camper. Our salesman James Combs was awesome. Spent as much time with us as we wanted. We had a camper in mind already which helped us navigate all the ones they carry. He was very knowledgeable, not just about campers, but also the hitches we were also getting. We just picked it up Sat 10/14. We've used Camping World of Chattanooga on several occasions for service issues the past couple of years. Today I had a Roadmaster reflex steering stabilizer installed while I waited. We had problems with our brand new Forrest river Salem 195's tires. We are from Texas camping, seen that the tires were about to blow, wearing pretty bad on the inside. We called and took it in to get it looked at about 11 and they were very nice and helped us get back on the road by 1pm. Looking at it and putting new, better tires on it. read more
