I was looking for a fun activity for my students to do while on a service trip, and we saw that OAR…read morehad some openings for a whitewater rafting trip. We took it! It's mid-October so the pricing wasn't peak pricing and at $40/person. My GPS glitched and turned us around a couple times so we made it just in time. We were given the safety briefing after checking in. Then we got our gear and got on the bus to get to the river. Our small group of 5 got to raft with James. He was phenomenal! James is so much like my husband's family where he can joke with a straight face and you don't know if it's a joke or not. James did an amazing job of guiding us and leading us down the Ocoee. Several in our group had never been whitewater rafting before. Everyone had a great time! It was truly amazing. Thank you so much for memories we won't ever forget!
