WOW! What a great time. We took our 12 year old son and his friend for the middle section and it was awesome. Our guide Gregg was superb. He has been on the river for more than 20 years as a guide and was our entire group's leader. He took us, as the boys were the youngest rafters. He had total control and I had confidence from the start. Gregg has a great personality and made sure the boys had the best time ever! He always looked out for their safety while still pushing the excitement level. All of the other guides were great as well and everyone had a great time. As far as the experience, it was more than expected. The rapids were class 2-4 with many drops and spins. We will definitely be back and may do the upper Olympic run. Truly great experience!!!! I will recommend them over and over again! We had a group of 26 people and I did not hear one complaint about any of the guides. The entire group was very happy with the experience and how often do you have a large group and no complaints?! I would strongly recommend them. Most of the people in our group had never been rafting before and some of us were a bundle of nerves. My 12 year old son was a little worked up about it. Dustin also known as Dudley made him feel secure and confident about rafting 30 minutes into the trip. If you are on the fence about trying it, just go for it and use Carolina Ocoee. My girlfriend and I did the Upper and Lower combo. Our guides name was Barry. He was extremely knowledgeable and filled in the slower parts of the trip with fun facts and history about the water plants and the surrounding landscape. The two of us arent the most talkative but Barry did a great job of getting us to talk and be part of the conversation. On the lower half it was just my girlfriend, myself, and Barry. He went above and beyond in order to help control the raft and to show us some of the different tricks you can do in some spots. It was a great trip. Barry and Duck were both excellent guides. My only draw back would be that they weren't too free with the lunch. Other than that everything was fantastic and I will definitely be going back. read more

We love rafting with Carolina Ocoee. Today was our third trip with CO and by far the best! Barry made the trip such a blast! Each rapid was another adventure with some fun surprise from surfing, to 360s and great stories. Thanks for another awesome ride. Went rafting with the son-in-law and grandsons yesterday, GREAT adventure. Lance was our guide, knew the river well, gave us a great run down the river without dumping us, knew by watching what our abilities were and made sure we had a great time. The only disappointment was seeing the ramp that signaled the end of the ride. I'd go down the river with them anytime, might even try the upper section and longer ride next time. Had no expectations other than to have a good time and knock an item off the bucket list. Little did we know Barry the rafting guide gave us the time of our lives! He is knowledgeable, explained every rapid and turn of the river and flat out was the highlight of our trip. I've been down the Ocoee 3 times now. Twice with Duck and once with Barry. I really feel like these guys are the best on the river. Wow is one of the only words I can use to describe how amazing this company is. We are brand new to rafting and chose the middle Ocoee trip. It was thrilling and fun but just the perfect amount that you felt stable. Magen was our guide for our trip and she was amazing at navigating through the rapids and making sure we were okay through our trip.
