My son and I went by on Monday to see if there was a chance to get fitted for golf clubs. It was around 2:00 when we got to the golf department. We were told that the guy who does fittings wasn't there, but if we could come back the next day he has an open schedule and could fit us then. We live about :45 mins away. We called several times the next day and no one answered. Called again no answer. We finally reached someone at 3:00 and they said the guy that does fittings was at lunch but he'd be back in :30 mins and that he'd be leaving in 3 or 4 hours. That sounded like we'd take the chance and go on down. We arrived at Dicks and the guy in the golf department said the guy that does the fittings had left for the day. I would think that on the first visit from us to the golf department to be fitted for clubs someone would have said: What's your name and number?? And maybe the same question when we called back the next day. By the way, the sales person that was there in the golf department could have totally sold us clubs if he'd said: Hey, while you're here try these clubs out! We might have just bought a set that he showed us. We were open! We left there and went to another golf store and got clubs. There they were very attentive, helpful and I'm glad we could get what we needed. read more

Ordered a Golf driver that was time sensitive that I receive for upcoming rounds. Ordered the driver in plenty of time. Driver arrived in the time frame i needed it by but was sent wrong driver and it had been previously used as it showed ball marks on face. Contacted customer service and was told to take back to local store and get another one ordered. I told them I needed it asap. They lied I took it back and since I purchased with the affirm card they offered they only refunded the card and was not able to order another due to waiting for refund which still hasn't gone through almost 4 days later. Dicks has offered no help for their screw up on sending me a used wrong item. Im just out of luck according to dicks. Still waiting on refund and cant order another driver days later. Nightmare experience i will shop elsewhere from now on. read more

I went in today looking for a new driver and Threewood. Jeff, the golf pro, had fitted me for my irons a few months back and did a tremendous job. Not only did he fit me properly and professionally, he saw something a little off in my swing and mentioned it which corrected my slice. Went back today & was glad to see he was there, fitted me for a driver, and as always was very helpful. His professionalism is second to none. His knowledge of the merchandise is top notch. He sold me what I needed and what was best suited for me. We spoke with Shawn, the store manager, on the way out & passed on how happy we were with our visit today. He also was very professional & mentioned how fortunate he was to have Jeff working at that store. Jahnia was our cashier and was extremely friendly and courteous. Cashier not helpful. Store was a mess. In their defense it was as right after Christmas

Went here for shoes. When entering there were 2 associates standing at the front door. We were not greeted by either. They continued talking as we walked by. In fact we were only approached by one gentleman working in shoes to see if we needed assistance. He was super helpful in finding what my husband needed! At checkout the associates wore their mask under their nose....might as well take it off because it's not effective that way. One cashier decided to pull his up after a customer came to his register with a hacking cough and sneezing. Our cashier Madison did not want to be there. Seemed to cause her pain to speak. Not impressed by this store. read more

I wish I could give negative stars. They are not helpful. When trying find out information to place a bulk order to ensure that I brought everything I needed in the store, they kept hanging up. The manager would not come to the phone and every time I called back they (obviously having caller id) would just pick up the phone and say "he will be with you in a sec". Leave me on hold until it started ringing back again then pick up the phone and hang up. They did this a total of 5 times. To think I was placing such a large order with people who obviously doesn't know or care what customer service actually means. read more

I really like the renovation here but sadly it doesn't make much difference on the service. I almost never get asked if I can be helped in any way or if I need anything from an associate when I shop here, which leaves me searching for someone when I have questions. They really need to pick up the customer service. It's actually the exact opposite experience I've with the on line shopping at Dickssportinggoods.com. They have a big selection of golf equipment and the recent renovation has made room for hunting/fishing/camping equipment. Overall not a bad place to get some sporting equipment. read more

I bought these pants right around Christmas time, and have received the wrong item now 3 times!!! I talked to multiple people about it being a computer error and how this is bs. I stated i received light grey pants with a black stripe, and i wanted medium grey pants with a WHITE STRIPE. They reassured me the third time that i would receive the right pants with white stripes on the side. Sure enough i have received 3 pairs of pants i did not order! I got on the phone today irritated finally because of my frustration and waiting for them to come in the mail, as my own Christmas gift! , for them to tell me "sorry your going to have to use a debit or credit card this time and pay for the pants your trying to receive. For what? YOUR mistake? So i am still entitled to fix your mess ? Im more irritated that the pants are going into a bin and to be reviewed before being shipped and with the comments under my account, it just doesn't add up to me that you can mess up black stripes with white stripes? So i'm still out of the pants i have been waiting for since before Christmas. Product selection is pretty good but if you need assistance with anything you should go elsewhere. I have walked out several times and bought elsewhere because they are either understaffed and I couldn't get anyone to help me or the staff was not knowledgable.
