This was our first visit tonight. The first impression was how clean & fresh everything looked. Our waiter "Jose A" was extremely polite and attentive. He checked on us often, but not too much. The service was quick. The portions were perfect. The flavors were on point. The atmosphere was welcoming and conducive to carrying on conversations without having to raise our voices. We went on Cinco de Mayo and as expected they were PACKED. We were quoted several different wait times at various times during our hour wait. Once we got seated our servers were great, but a little slow and seemed confused about who got what drink. The food was really good! The chips and salsa were yummy and tasted fresh. I got the piña loca- a HUGE portion of steak, chicken and shrimp along with fajita veggies and pineapples cooked inside of half of a pineapple. Dining in is good, but highly recommend not to do carry out/pick up threw the Chow Now App that the website uses for this location. When going in to do pick up we had to wait an additional amount of time when arriving, we arrived only a few minutes after the estimated pick up time. They were nice on the phone when we told them that a burrito was missing from a meal. They said they would refund us over the phone, but we shall see. I'll for sure change my rating if they do refund the missing item. I don't think it's them it's the chow now app they use for carry out. I recommend they get rid of that, because they seemed surprised when he went in to get pick up and then he showed them the order on the phone. read more

Meh, it was okay. Service was good, food was typical "combo #x" which I can expect, red salsa was fine but my biggest disappointment was in the guacamole. I asked if it was "fresh" like made table side (which I didn't specify) but was told "yes". I asked "can it be made spicy?" and I was told "yes". Me and my sister dined at 2:30 on a Thursday and it was dead as a door nail. We sat down and ordered steak fajitas. And we were given salsa and a very strange yet pungent dip that I probably could've lived without trying. It was very unpleasant tasting to say the least. My sister ordered a margarita on the rocks and lets just say the first one wasn't made by a bartender. There wasn't any tequila in it, but the second one did. I could smell it from where I was sitting. The food wasn't spectacular. The steak was kind of burnt and wasn't very much in ration to onions and peppers. This place has impressed every visit. The most impressive is how they have utilized not being as busy! There is always someone cleaning! Sanitizing between guest is extensive! No dust on anything including the blinds! They need more business folks! The lunch menu is very affordable and just enough to not have a food coma back at your desk!!! The chips and salsa, brought with standard red salsa, and what they call Mexican ranch! (I call it crack in a bowl!!! Hints of lime for brightness but also a subtle sweetness added as well!!! I dipped my taco bowl in it!!!) The taco salad is very fresh and quick to the table! Mine had the beef and hers the shredded chicken! The key lime pie was just ok... not very tart and overly sweet, but my biggest issue with that was it tasted like refrigerator like it was not stored properly or old... my only complaint and that was minor!!! Tried this place on a slow night - about 25% of seating was full. The server was friendly, but the service was not good. She was very slow to serve us and did not pay attention to details. It would be understandable if they had been busy, but the place was dead. The chips were stale, salsa was bland, and the white sauce was just weird -- like sweet mayonnaise. The queso was cold. The entrees were tasty. I had fajita chicken burritos and my wife had pollo San Juan. We added a side of grilled jalapeños, which were prepared perfectly. I hope they make some changes to the service and the appetizers. Otherwise, I have a hard time seeing them in business 6 months from now. read more

This is my second time to eat here in a week. We ordered out one night and were really impressed. I got the enchiladas supremas and the spicy cheese dip. It only took 15 minutes for it to be ready for pickup. Their salsa is really good and they serve a white cream dip with it. The cream dip is sweet. I'm not sure if I love it but I like having two dips to choose between. Last night we went to eat inside the restaurant. They do their waitlist through Yelp. You can sit in your car and check the wait times. It shows what number you are in line and gives an estimate of when to go back inside. We went inside when it predicted (20 mins .. for a party of 5) and we were seated fast. Our waiter was wonderful. The service was fast. Our kids meals were out within 5 minutes of ordering. The adult meals came soon after. I was very impressed with the service and quality of the food. I ordered the enchiladas supremes again since I liked them so much last time. Been here a couple of times with some friends and the servers have always been great, but both times there was an issue with getting the order incorrect or forgetting to bring something. Wow! We tried going somewhere else but there was a 45 minute wait so we ended up here. This place is like your local restaurant but much tastier! The service was fantastic and the portions were huge. I had pollo con arroz and it had veggies along with chicken/cheese. The kids portion was the size of the normal portion any other place. They offer $2 domestic draft during games. Nice restaurant! We were a group and everyone loved their food. I ordered the huarache and it was really good! I also ordered the chile relleno. The red dipping salsa was good, didn't care about that "mayo-like" dip sauce that came with the chips. The chips could be better, they were dense and kinda hard. Hector, our waiter was very professional, not overly friendly, just right and i liked that. Was a busy night at the restaurant, he came over a couple times to refill our waters and ask if we needed refills in our drinks. Orders were accurate and it didn't take long to get our food. We are native Texans and live near Beaumont Center Circle and we were, not surprisingly, craving Mexican food. Tried Campestre for the first time. We were blown away with their delicious fajitas. We enjoyed it so much that I decided to give them a try for a dinner party I was having. Working with Jessica and Andres, they flawlessly pulled off delivering a fabulous fajita meal for 15. The communication was excellent, the food was excellent, and the price was very fair. Jessica showed up to my home and delivered a warm meal ready to be served. Beef and chicken fajitas, rice and beans, fresh chips and salsa, pico de gallo and guacamole, lettuce and their fabulous white dipping sauce. I wish I knew the name of the chefs working behind the scenes, but what a job well done! I can absolutely recommend this restaurant for lunch, dinner, and catering. The group of people I had to my home for their dinner are now super fans of the restaurant. I am happy to say they will be giving them their business as well. Thank you Campestre!!! read more

We were so glad this restaurant came to Beaumont so that we can walk there when it's nice out! We've been several times now. We decided early on that we prefer the beef entrees to chicken. I almost always get enchiladas rancheras- YUM. The salsa and white dip (ranch of some sort?) are complimentary and pretty good, I like mixing them. I was underwhelmed by the attempt at trendy building with Mexican food. The best think was the service at lunch was great, never an empty glass, chips filled, salsa was a little harder. But it was not the best and salsa was only ok. Biggest thing was tortillas can out warm but got rock hard almost like microwaved and then put in foil to take out. This little gem is nestled in the middle of the Beaumont Center entryway giving it prime position and fairly easy access. After visiting a few times, I realize that for what it is, you can't beat it. There are always plenty of friendly servers who quickly can seat you or direct you to the ample bar seating. As a bar top sitting kind of couple I can vouch for quick acknowledgement and easy ordering. The menu has many good options at reasonable prices. Chips and salsa are free as well as a sort of sweet ranch type sauce. The food comes out VERY fast. If you order an appetizer, you will likely have less than five minutes to entree. All the food options have been yummy and good value. Would recommend for lunch or dinner. read more

We're from out of town, but visit Lexington frequently. We have seen this location change and have tried all of the restaurants in this location. This is the best restaurant that has been in this location. We were seated immediately on a Saturday evening. The chips, salsa, and cheese dip were good. Service was nice and quick. Food and drinks came quickly and it was delicious. There weren't any prices on the drink menu so we were very pleasantly surprised at quality and pricing of the house margaritas. This is a good solid place for Mexican food. Much prettier than the competition. I ordered tortilla soup, the hubby got a big burrito. Everything tasted good. Not great, nothing really outta-this-world special. I would cross town to eat here, but it's worth checking out if your in the area. Got curbside from Campestre for lunch today and I have to brag about them. Ordering on their app is super easy, and the curbside experience is better than literally anywhere else I've been. This is the third time we've tried it and every time, they bring the order out to us before I can even get my phone out to call and tell them we're there. They are so fast! And every one of the three orders I've placed with them is correct and hot when we get it. On top of that, everyone is friendly, and the food is amazing! I haven't ever been inside, but I certainly will after the great experiences I keep having with their curbside service! I love the vegetarian plate with a mushroom quesadilla and a spinach enchilada. It's a combination I've never seen at any other restaurant and it's so good! The mushrooms in the quesadilla are spiced, so it's not bland like many vegetarian dishes at other restaurants. My boyfriend got the Campestre (shrimp) tacos and loved them. Everything is great...I highly recommend it! read more

Wow was this food ever terrible!!! Taco Bell has more flavor and color in their food. We split nachos, which were a joke! Ground beef that looked like cat food, on chips with queso and some melted cheese. No salsa, veggies, sour cream, lettuce, jalapenos like most restaurants. I had shrimp quesadilla which was also without any depth or color, cheese, tortilla, shrimp and onions galore.. no peppers, nothing to add depth or color. I picked out the onions because that was way too much onion flavor and stuffed it with the side salad of iceberg lettuce and some pico and ate like a taco.
