I went here yesterday with my kids. The location is the old Applebee's in Beaumont. The decor is beautiful. I was disappointed because everything is a upcharge. This place has been for 5 months and I noticed their price have already went up. The food was bland. Nothing special with this place. They quickly declined. I kept hear people complain and even the last few times I've been, it was completely different. Service was slow from jump, after they first opened, but now it's almost painful. Today, on my last and probably final visit, the hostess was texting, the waiter flirting with the bar tender, forgetting things. Painful, I tell ya. They now charge $1 for an extra salsa?! I'm not sure that's the case every time though. I think the waiter caught a chip because I interrupted him to ask for another salsa, as he was spitting his game to the bar tender. They did a nice job converting from Mark's Feed Store and Applebee's prior to that. The decor is nice and modern with granite table tops in each booth. The drink selection is good, especially the margaritas - see pic. The food presentation was just ok but they made up for that with the good taste. Be sure to ask for hot sauce if you like spicy. I ordered fajita nachos but got grilled chicken nachos. See the before and after pics . I wish they had opened up the side wall with a garage door for open air seating. Lexington needs more of that! Really good. Was hard to pick because the menu has a lot to offer and all sounded great. I got rice, chicken and veggies. The chicken was seasoned great and cooked perfectly. My dad got shrimp and scallops with rice and veggies, nothing ever really tastes good to him and he said it was delicious! My mom got the supreme nachos and she's picky and said they were great. It was pretty empty because we went at 3, hope more people visit! Decor was nice and modern. Only negative are the glasses are y'all and slim and when filled with ice, you get about 4 sips. Salad felt like it came from a bag or from McDonald's with cotija cheese sprinkled on top, with a packet of Kraft ranch. Ordered the fish tacos not much flavor, Chipotle sauce was too sweet. This restaurant is steps away from Comfort Suites. You'll get a 10% discount if staying at this hotel. Plenty of parking all around it's stand alone location. Upon entering seating was fast and service is really courteous. Staff is very attentive. When placing your order(s) food was fast and delicious. They offer take out containers, if requested. Restaurant was clean and sanitary. For those concerned with COVID precautionary measures some staff wore mask and most did not. read more

Maybe I missed something, but I didn't get it. We ordered a variety of food including margaritas in order to try this place out. The margaritas tasted like a bad college night. The food was waaay salty and no different than tex mex from a frozen dinner. To top it all off, it's super expensive. The price does not match the quality. The Beaumont area was in need of a great Mexican restaurant. The atmosphere is swanky, but still affordable, laid back and inviting at the same time. It's not your typical look for a Mexican restaurant which I find refreshing. We really enjoyed our food along with the salsa and white dip. They have all of standard Mexican restaurant favorites. First time here. They took us in right away. Wait staff very friendly and attentive. Margaritas are top notch. I had a Don Julio top shelf, very fresh. Food was great. Beef enchiladas were ok, but what do you expect for $8. The Queso Fundido is incredible! You should definitely order that for an appetizer. The street Taco's and Chile rellano were also very good! I really enjoyed it! Ask for the spicy salsa... it's very hot. Went at lunch, sat at the bar and the service was very good. Food came out quickly. Got a chimichanga which came with rice, beans, guacamole and sour cream. It was only $6. For a massive draft Dos Equis (32oz) and chimi and dessert to go it was only $20 total. I'll def be back especially since there is a shortage of Mexican spots in that particular area. It's a pretty standard Mexican spot with combos 1-20 or whatever. My children and I went to Campestre during the week at like 3 o'clock. A really nice atmosphere. Very modern, nice bar, lots of TVs. Not your typical Mexican restaurant. Kids loved the cheese and chips and I enjoyed the salsa and cold ranch like dip they served. My daughter didn't like the Spanish rice bc it had vegetables in it but I thought it was fine nothing special. What I did really enjoy was the street tacos! They were very good! Great food, great service. The white sauce is weird texture like mayo but good flavor. I had the arroz Con pollo which was delicious. They put the cheese sauce on the rice and it would have been better over the chicken. Overall it's a great place and-huge portion! My friend had the street tacos and raves about them. The margaritas were fantastic! I'll have another! The decor is very clean and simple yet modern. Very nice touch. Feels fancy but chill and cool environment. It's very open so expect noise. I did some research and it looks like the franchise is out of West Virginia. This place won't last with the overhead and how much they're paying to lease the spot. Very nice new place in Beaumont. Food was tasty, service was a little off as the server forgot our appetizer, forgot refills, extra salsa, and got our order wrong, which we still had to pay for. The wrong part was he put in extra tacos that we didn't order and we told him we didn't order that and he said he would take it off but didn't. I'm not one to try and get free stuff. Not my style, so I wanted to explain what I meant. But again, food was tasty. I had the Pollo Yucatán and my son had the kids burrito with rice and beans. You pay an extra dollar for rice and beans on the kids meal btw. Kind of a rip off. First it's rice and beans and you probably have a ginormous pot of both in the back, and the tablespoon you put on the kids plate sure ain't breaking down your budget. It's not like the kids meal is super cheap anyway. So just be prepared. Ambiance is nice and it's always good to have a nice, clean, tasty new restaurant in town. This restaurant has some of the nicest and accommodating staff I've ever met. I've been meaning to come here for quite a while and check out there street tacos among other things. When you first arrive as typical they will greet you and direct you to a table or a booth. Complimentary chips and salsa are also provided. They give you a creamy type of dip that is slightly sweet and really tastes great. The salsa is quite delicious and their chips are freshly made not too hard not to crunchy. My wife ordered a tamale and a lunch combo that she really enjoyed. I order street tacos and a chile relleno. Play close attention to the menu as these three tacos do come with both fresh and sauteed onions. While I absolutely love cilantro and fresh onions on my tacos I can't say the same for sauteed onions. They have a taco sauce that they provide which is really complimentary to the tacos. Slightly spicy and a tad bit smokey. I am always one to add fresh sliced avocado to my tacos, which they obliged. My tacos came with the sauteed onions which I didn't complain about but I did pick them out. When I saw that I picked out the onions and set one of them aside. When the staff came to check on us, our server noticed that I hadn't eaten two the tacos and the onions I picked out. He happily offered to have two tacos made without onions. If I thanked him for his consideration and observation. These tacos were amazing to say the least! We will definitely be back to experience more of Campestre's cuisine and get to know their amazing staff. Five Stars you guys knocked it out the park and won us over! read more

I was excited to have a New Mexican restaurant on this side of town. Campestre has a very modern look to the interior, a lot of black and white with a large bar area in the center of the restaurant. I visited with a friend for lunch and we started with the chips, salsa, and the white sauce that I had read about in other yelp reviews. The salsa was a bit on the bland side and the white sauce - just no. I didn't care for that at all. I did order the guacamole, however, and it was excellent. The prices on the lunch menu are great. My friend ordered the El Azeteca which had chicken and vegetables and was served with tortillas and she said it was tasty. I ordered a chicken chimichanga and, although the flavor was okay, it was the smallest chimichanga I have ever been served at a Mexican restaurant. I wonder if the dinner portions are larger, because I like meat and there wasn't much of that in this chimichanga. If I visit again I will choose differently. Overall, my first visit to Campestre was okay but I'm not in a hurry to return. read more

I ordered food to pickup at 6:30 on Friday. I got an email from the restaurant telling me that my food would be ready at 6:40. I arrived at 6:35 to pick up the food and it was sitting in the pickup area. I live ten minutes away so I used the seat warmer in my car to keep it warm. By the time I got home, the food was ice cold. Mind you, the entrees were in aluminum tins that should have kept them warm. I tried to call the restaurant all evening on Friday to let them know about the temperature of the food. All night, the phone line was busy. I was using the phone number on the company's website so I know it was the correct number. I won't be going back to a restaurant that I cannot get in touch with anyone when there is a problem. Cold steak fajitas and enchiladas are not my idea of quality food for my hard-earned dollars. read more
