Do not waste your time here. We went here for dinner this evening. When we walked in, we were not greeted or acknowledged even when staff looked at us multiple times. After standing at the entrance for 8 minutes, one of the staff FINALLY instructed another staff member to go help us. The guy told us they were closed but couldn't provide anymore information due to barely speaking English. On our previous visit, we did eat dinner here. The food was good but the customer service was horrible. I had to ask several times for the extra queso I had ordered. No one refilled our drinks until we were pretty much done eating. You're better off taking your business elsewhere. read more

We had a group of 6 stop in for dinner at Riviera Maya in Paris, Ky this evening. The waiter was attentive and the chips and salsa were fresh and top notch. Our food was out quickly, although 1 order (child's) was delayed a few minutes. I'm guessing it was just overlooked since it was Friday evening and very busy. Everyone was happy with their meal. The restaurant is well decorated and roomy. If you're in the mood for some really good Mexican food this is a great place try. read more

If you like Chile Rellenos, this is the place. They are roasted Poblano chiles filled with cheese and dipped in a flour and egg batter then fried and covered in a quick cooked tomato sauce. Delish !! They also make a Salsa Rojo for those who like a little kick with their chips and salsa. It is made from charred Chile de Arbol chiles, tomotillos, garlic and onions. My wife ordered the Shrimp Diablo and the shrimp were big and plump drenched in their red Diablo sauce. Great atmosphere with colorful, hand-carved, wood furniture and some nice upbeat Mariachi music in the background. The only reason they didn't get my fifth star is the service was just okay and the Margaritas were florescent green. read more

Can't comment on the food, but as we walked up to the door TWO hours before closing, someone inside ran up, locked the door in front of us, and turned off the open sign and turned away without ever looking at us. If they have adjusted their hours because of Covid, fine, but there was no sign on the door other than the printed normal hours. What bothered me most was the way they locked the door on us without saying a word as I was reaching for the handle. read more

When in Paris, KY and craving Mexican food, this place is the best in town. Like other reviewers have said though, it's worth a trip just to see how spectacular the interior decor is in this place. Slow service, mediocre food, undrinkable toxic green margaritas, overpriced... ordered 6 tacos and a tamale to go and it was $22. I got charged $4 for cilantro and onions in the side. If I hadn't order them I would've just been served meat on a soft taco and who what's to eat that? I was told it would be a 15 minute wait and it was over 30. The tamale was so dry it was inedible. Save your money and your palate and go to pericos down the road or the taqueria los hermanos on main st they have great tacos. read more

I became an addict to the tacos in this place last year. They are to die for. They come with lettuce and cheese and perfectly seasoned beef. I can't find another taco in comparison. Everyone try their lunch specials. U can get lunch for a little more than five bucks. This is my weekly spot. read more

This place has been my favorite place to eat since they opened! The manager is always super nice as well as the staff!! I am always amazed by the decor there. It's amazing! My complaint is not with the food, the decor or the service. My one star rating is because I was scammed at this restaurant and will NEVER go back. As I was paying at the front registerI handed the cashier a 20.00 dollar bill and asked if he had plenty of change since my tab was only about 7 dollars. He handed me 5 one dollar bills and when I told him that he had given me the wrong change and that I had given him a twenty he insisted loudly that I had given him a five and that he thought that I wanted change for a tip and that I should check my billfold because I had a twenty (which he could see ). I actually had several twenty dollar bills. I also had my tip in ones and was ready to put it on the table Anyway we argued back and forth and he got louder and louder and I finally decided it wasn't worth it. Maybe I should have stood there and verbally slugged it out with this guy in front of 20 other people but I decided not to. However like I said- I will NEVER go back again. Too bad because it was pretty good. Watch out for scams here. If they act like this no telling what else they may do. read more

I am going to start out saying that we were passing through during the 400 mile yard sale and we were way past due to eat so a little peckish. We ordered a bowl of chili from the soup or appetizer section of the menu. The expediter seemed very confused when our waitress told him we wanted chili. It was supposed to be chili with meat and beans. Another server brought us a plate of meat sauce with three tortilla on it. No beans, no bowl. We gave it back to our waitress and showed her where it was on the menu but I guess it wasn't happening that day with the kitchen staff so we just asked for it to be taken off the bill and to never mind. My husband ordered the Don Jose burger. I can't say much because I didn't taste it but he didn't even finish it and we were starving. I ordered the "vegetarian #4 combo" and low and behold I received a meat burrito with the bean chalupa and cheese quesadilla. We just kindly told the waitress, paid our bill and left. She was so embarrassed as she was working very hard while we were there and completely carrying more than her share of work. Service fantastic, kitchen not so much.......... read more
