In December of 2015 my dog stayed with Camp Bow Wow for a week while we were out of the country. When we picked up our dog his foot was bloody and he was limping. We immediately took him to the local animal hospital where the doctor found that his toe was badly infected, to the point where the nail was missing and the bone was protruding. The following day he went into surgery for the toe to be amputated. After a culture of the area, they found he had 5 bacterial infections including Staph, E. Coli, and MRSA. It took approximately 3 months for him to recover, and daily or semi daily trips to the animal hospital. Our vet bills alone were over $6,000. Camp Bow Wow did try contacting us, but we were out of the country and didn't have a communication method. They also took him to a local vet where he was prescribed an anti-inflammatory and antibiotic, but never attempted to seek additional medical attention as the condition worsened. Our vet agreed this was a case of pure negligence. We confronted Camp Bow Wow Management and requested their help in paying the bill and they refused any further communication with us and gave us their lawyer's contact info. I can't recommend this place highly enough. My family and I were out of state on a trip and boarded our 2 dogs here. On the day we were returning, one of our dogs got sick. Knowing that we were getting in that night and traveling with small kids, they offered to take our dog to our vet for us, which was such a huge help. Not only did they take the time to see our vet, but when we got there, they had our dog's prescription and paperwork ready for us as well, and they'd already started him on his medication. We've also taken both dogs there for doggy daycare, and our dogs love it. Camp Bow Wow Parker truly treats our dogs like they're family, and we couldn't appreciate it more. read more

We love Camp Bow Wow for the flexibility they allow us (early drop off or late pick-up) without charging us to death. They make it easy for you unlike another kennel that charges you for everything outside of the norm. Also, the staff is awesome and knows our pups by name. I read another yelpers review and want to state that our dogs (and they stay at Camp Bow Wow often) have never come home sick. In fact, I find they are super careful. When we make the appointments for boarding they know if we will be up for vaccination and let us know. There are quite a few options in the Parker area and this is by far the best choice. read more

I Would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a great place that treats the dogs as if they were their own. We boarded our 4 dogs here in May 2014 for a week. Not only is it super cheap because of the multiple dogs, but it's clean, the people know what they're doing, and they are totally friendly. We used to go to Winston's in Parker, and since they closed down we've tried a few other places to board, and this one is simply the best. They are the only place that went through every dogs personality, meds, any issues or concerns I or they might have. They also talked about the dogs when we picked them up, like had actual stories to tell us about OUR dogs. Most other places take in as many dogs as possible and just kind of herd them around without knowing names or issues they have. I was super impressed. Have reccomended this place to people and I will continue taking my 4-legged babies here when needed. read more

We take our dog there once a week every week for doggie daycare and there is no where else we would take her to stay overnight. They love on your dog, play with your dog and even know every dog by name as they come in. Best place ever!!! They even give baths before they come home, if you ask!!! read more

My wife and I were so impressed how friendly, professional and caring the staff at Camp Bow Wow were. We also talked with several of the parents and all were extremely happy with the camp and how their dogs all enjoyed it and looked forward to each visit. Beware, this place will put your bank account or credit card at risk! They wrote my number down without my knowledge and ran my card a second time without my permission!! When I found the charge I called and spoke with a woman who said the staff was supposed to tell me they were doing that, and assured me they "always" tear up the card information. Bottom line - if her staff isn't responsible enough to discuss their shady charging practices there is no guarantee they are responsible enough to tare up the card information let alone provide safe care for your pet. I will NEVER use or recommend this place to anyone. read more

If I ever board my pup again, she WILL be staying here! A little back story, we went to Key West over Christmas, and boarded our mini-schnauzer with Camp Bow Wow. Cookie has a sensitive tummy and is afraid of her shadow, but has always done well at Camp Bow Wow, even interacting with other dogs, which is unlike her. Also, mini schnauzers have lots of health issues...... Three days into the trip, we get a call from the Camp and Cookie is throwing up everything put in front of her. It turns out that she had stress-induced pancreatitis - a schnauzer thing. She was REALLY sick. Not only did they monitor her and call every couple of hours, they coordinated care with my vet, TOOK HER TO MY VET, got her meds, administered them, fed her watered down food, and limited water, and completely nursed her back to health. All while we were 2,000 miles away. There are no words for how thankful our family is. We've always boarded at Camp Bow Wow in the past because Cookie has come home tired and happy. This time she came home healthy, thank goodness. If Cookie can handle it (our pup gets stressed by butterflies!), we will definitely be using Camp Bow Wow again. I wholeheartedly recommend them! read more

My dog has a multitude of health problems requiring very specific activity limitations, rigorous medication schedule, etc. The folks at Camp Bow Wow follow my instructions to the T every time he is there, including reserving a specific kennel, putting him in the best possible location given his condition. On my last trip when I had no internet access to view the webcams, they happily took my daily (sometimes twice daily) phone calls. They assigned one person to evaluate my dog's condition day to day and to provide updates to me (this was important as his condition at that time was quite tenuous). They go above and beyond to make me feel comfortable leaving him there. I highly recommend them. read more

We love Camp Bow Wow and have been taking our dogs here for many years. They have a great doggie day care and special days like Teacup Tuesdays for little dogs. They also are great with boarding, which we've mainly used. They always remember our dogs names and still have pictures of our dog Maggie who passed away a year ago on their picture frame. When I lived in Parker there is no other place I would take my dog. The staff treated our dogs like they were the favorites!! Which, I'm sure, they do for everyone but it still feels good. Every time we would arrive both dogs would get so excited they could hardly stand themselves. They love this place. Staff is always friendly, available, and ask us how the dogs have been when we haven't been in awhile. When Shelby, our oldest dog, died they gave us a gift and seemed genuinely sad that she had died. Love love love this place. read more

My 1 1/2 year old Golden Retriever absolutely LOVES it here! The staff is super friendly and knowledgable. They are very clean and seem to really love dogs. My dogs gets so excited every time I take him for Doggie Day Care. This is one of his favorite places in the world! Also, the dogs that come here all get along and we have not had any biting incidents or aggressive dogs. I also love that we can watch our puppy on the Camper Cams (live video feed) during the day. I have been taking my 2 rescue dogs since they where little pups and I wouldn't trust anyone or kennel with my 2 boys. The staff is so amazing and they are all so passionate and love what they do with the dogs. They know each dogs names when we as owners bring our dogs in. They know each dogs characters and relate very well with them. I just love Camp Bow Wow Parker, for all that they do. My husband and I also use the Home Buddy Services as well and trust them to be at my home to take care of my other dog who's never been at a kennels. The service that they provide is so flexible that I can rest assure that my boys are always in good hands. I feel that Camp Bow-Wow Parker is part of my family and I would recommend them, in which I have at my office and some of my co-workers now take their dogs there. read more

I love this place. The staff are always pleasant and knowledgeable when I have a question, as a new dog owner. I've been taking my basenji here since she was 4 months old for occasional day camp and boarding. We travel a lot but I know my pup is safe and happy (maybe even has more fun at CBW than she does at home.) I love being able to watch her on the video cams and when she gets too rambunctious, (puppy!) the staff keep the dogs in line with a little squirt of water. Most of the time, they are on the floor scratching each dog equally and getting kisses in return. Best job ever right?!? I really appreciate their staff-to-dog ratio and all the protocol they have in place. They always answer the phone when I call which is definitely not the case with another place I interviewed. Most importantly, my pup loves it at CBW and every time she jumps out of the car, all 18 lbs of her pulls me to the door like her life depended on it. That says it all!
