    Tails Up used to be a business I trusted (prior to the pandemic they were FANTASTIC every time) but my dogs' stays in 2023 have destroyed that trust and they will never see my business again. There was a small incident in May 2023 that gave me pause. But then we got a puppy and my backup petsitter also got a puppy and didn't feel comfortable with 2 puppies and 3 adult dogs (some mine and some hers) all together in her home and so Tails Up felt like our only option for our Thanksgiving trip. I left 12 days worth of food for one of my dogs, Sherlock, (3 packages - he gets 1/4 package per day or 1/8 am and 1/8 pm) for a 9 day trip. For my other dog, Westley, I left the exact amount he would need as he gets 1 package per day (larger, younger dog whom we are trying to get to gain weight since he's very active and on the lower end of healthy weight range). We were assured that they were familiar with Farmer's Dog diets. I confirmed amounts with a pre-check in survey and again at the check in desk. The amounts they get per day are clearly labeled on the package, with their name. On day 7 of my trip I was texted that my dogs were out of food, and could they give them kibble. I asked "How is that possible? We left more than enough?" then they found Westley's food, but Sherlock was out of food. But eventually we figured out what to do to get them through the last few days. At check out, I let the person at the front desk know I would need to speak to management about what occurred because it was very upsetting and ruined the rest of my trip to think they were overfeeding my elderly dog. I was told Quentin, a manager, would be in at 12 noon the next day and call me first thing the next day (today - as I write this at 1:15pm) in preparation for my call I looked at the post-trip report card around 11:45am and sure enough it said 1/4 packet am and 1/4 packet pm for both dogs- they overfed Sherlock by double and underfed Westley by half for 9 days. Then mysteriously at 12:08pm the profile updated to show 1/8 cup for Sherlock the entire duration of his stay - the measurement they used for the kibble for the last few days. So not only did they do the wrong thing but they're covering it up. And still I have not received a phone call. What they don't seem to be aware of is that they also underfed my puppy and that I do have screenshots of because they haven't doctored that yet. Edit to above: I did speak to Quentin shortly after 3pm and was told that 3 of my 9 days would be refunded. While I am thankful for the compensation and it will help with the cost of expedited shipping, my trust is broken and my dogs will not return. I truly help that my dogs' experience helps them to avoid this dangerous mistake in the future.

I got referrals from my prior dog sitter, searched yelp, Facebook and nv pet websites for dog sitters in my area. They either lived to far for my comfort or charged way too much money for what I needed. Mary came to my home for the initial visit. I knew right away she was the one. She is super sweet with the dogs. I showed her around, we went over her rates and she provided some paperwork for the dogs needs and wants. She lives in mountains edge area so she does not charge mileage rates if you live near there and rhodes ranch is included.. Yippee! We went to our out of town trip and she provided photos each day. Fun stuff too! She took the dogs on walks and made sure they were fed and taken care of. She even caught my lab jumping in the pool to cool off after a walk. It was hilarious! When we got home our mail was collected and everything was in place. She left a log chart of the time she got in and left and what was done that day. It also showed if they were eating good, etc. She text me the night we got home to make sure the dogs were doing good. They were doing great, they were pooped! I definitely plan on using Mary again in the near future. Great service and in the Southwest!

He has been kenneled in other locations before and this had never happened. I was told by the manager it was possibly the large number of dogs in the play area that didn't work for him but because of fighting they couldn't have him back, and they were going to keep him in his kennel 24/7 for the next 2 days until we picked him. I understand, safety first, but when I asked how often he would be taken out to potty I was told the staffing was overloaded and he would probably not get out, but they would try to work something out. I told her that was not ok! She back pedaled and said it would be fine and they'd take care of him. Well, I don't think they did. My dog came home dirty, smelling, skittish, clearly had lost weight and was not himself. He threw up the first night home - which he never does. When my husband went in to pick him up, he came out tail tucked and not even happy to see us. My husband questioned them when we picked him up, they just brushed us off. They clearly had no plan for a dog they needed to separate. I watched my dog on video while he was there and he was interacting very well. If he got in a fight, I can understand keeping him isolated from group play - but they have to have a plan for that, a place they can potty dogs separately and give him interaction separately. I wasn't paying to keep him locked in a kennel alone 24/7. Based on his behavior when I picked him up - I am concerned he was not only isolated but treated very unkindly. It is taking time to coax him out of being skittish and back to his normal fun loving self. I do not recommend this place at all!!!

My older dog has never had accidents in the house came home and has had diarrhea so bad that he's had accidents 2 nights in a row. Our best guess is that our dogs wet food was left out and spoiled during their stay making them both sick. We will NEVER bring our dogs back to this location.

Their staff, across the board, greeted us with only compassion and kindness. Kerry M. was our vet and she walked us through every step, educated us, was patient, and was so kind to Iverson and us. I had to cancel the first appointment because I was not ready to say goodbye. They offer a cancellation window up to 4 hours before your appointment and allow you to carry over your deposit to when you reschedule, with no extra fee. So thankful for this understanding. The cost may feel steep, but the in-home service is so so worth it. Iverson had his last meal while the pain meds were administered. It was a distraction where he didn't even notice. He felt safe and comfortable in his home, surrounded by family and on his favorite couch. He was then given a sedation medicine where he drifted into a nap on my chest. When the final medicine was given, he felt no pain as he crossed the rainbow bridge. I have heard horror stories from other in home service companies. I had 3 friends use Caring Pathways and that is why we went with them. I am so grateful and thankful that we chose to work with Caring Pathways. It helps with acceptance and closure and provides a peaceful passing. I will forever recommend them to other family and friends who need to say goodbye to a family pet member.

There was so much empathy throughout the experience, that it took away the awkward or embarrassing concerns. They also offered counseling services. Afterwards we received a beautiful carved wooden box to hold the ashes- we were not expecting anything this nice. To me, this was worth the higher price you pay- rather than going to the vet to do this.

At 12 months she began exhibiting signs of resource guarding and the intent to be the house alpha. Her positive treat based reinforcement group training wasn't getting us to where we needed and luckily we found Kaleb/All-Pro. She (and we) has been receiving personalized training with Kaleb since August 2025. She has come so far, and my (20 year old) daughter is doing the work needed as this is a high energy dog who needs more activity. Kaleb has introduced her to a variety of environments to build her tolerance and adaptivity. We've also used Kaleb for boarding several times now, and our experience is that he treats each pet as if it were his own. The location also provides plenty of room for the pets to receive nice outdoor supervised play time. All-Pro is definitely our go to! My only hesitation about writing this review is that I might struggle with availability for training and boarding as others seek out All-Pro. After that, she became aggressive, reactive, and completely stopped listening to any commands. We were heartbroken and unsure if we'd ever get our sweet dog back. Enter Kaleb. From day one, he was professional, knowledgeable, and confident in his approach. He took her in for a month of intensive board-and-train, and we just got her back -- the difference is night and day. She has done a complete 360. She's calm, well-mannered, responsive to commands, and -- most incredibly -- she can now be around other dogs with no issues at all. Kaleb even brought out other dogs to test her reactions, had them barking and creating distractions, and she never once broke focus. His training stuck, and it's clear he put in real work, care, and consistency. We can't thank Kaleb enough for giving us our girl back. If you're struggling with behavioral issues and feel hopeless, trust Kaleb -- he truly knows what he's doing. Worth every single penny. Highly recommend!
