After going through the process of interviewing our offerings in Castle Rock, we chose Tails Up. Now it books up fast so you really should plan ahead. Although calling them and begging them also works ;) They have a very good online scheduling site where you can book all of their visits. Enzo loves it there and I can vouch for him since I can go online and watch him through all of their cameras. This play does NOT have all day play, which I prefer since my dog would be exhausted if they did that. When I board him there for longer than a few days, I always sign him up for some extra play sessions or tennis ball day where they put out a ton of tennis balls and dogs can live their best life playing fetch, etc. I can't recommend them enough!

I unfortunately can no longer recommend this boarding facility. Today we picked up our cats Rosco…read moreand Keanu from a 10 day stay (8/15/2024-8/23/2024), this is their 4th stay in 2 years with Tails Up. We texted to check in on them everyday and were told they were great. When we picked them up today though, it was clear they have been having diarrhea, with Rosco having lots of poo matted in his fur. They never let us know they were showing signs of illness, even with our daily check ins. They said nothing at pick up. Additionally, when picking up they informed me I could not go into the cat room to get them but had to wait and have them do it due to "the room being under construction" - that was a first but okay. They come out with my cats in their carrier and a bag with two of my cats toys and another animals medication, handing it to me saying this was theirs. I notified them it wasn't and instructed them we were missing a bag of many toys, a wand, blankets, etc. and their medication and treats. She came back with just the medication, told me I was good to go. Again asked about the bag of toys and blankets. Went back and brought just the bag of toys, said I was good to go. This went on for a total of 5-6 trips to bring us the rest of our stuff. She ended up still missing some wipes and our food scoop, but we didn't realize till we got home. The blanket we left in Rosco's crate also was in the laundry for some reason, they have never washed their bedding before which also tells me he must have had diarrhea bad enough to have to clean his bedding. We are very unsure if another animal's medication was administered to our cats based on this interaction, the diarrhea, and them acting very oddly since being home. Keanu keeps waking up in a panic from his naps like he is having bad dreams. It genuinely seems like they were not taken well care of while there. We are afraid they were administered medication that wasn't theirs and they could be sick from it. And they seem skittish and afraid. I do not know what the people at Tails Up did to them this time for them to react this way. They have been boarded for more than 10 days each time, and never come home like this. I texted their number right when we noticed they had diarrhea caked in their fur to ask if they had been sick, why we hadn't been notified if they had, and whether they had been administered another animals medication -- no response over 12 hours later. I have sent an email as well tonight, no response. Never received a "report card" either, even though their app notified me one should be available, which seems even more suspicious -- we have always received it right after check out. TLDR; I can no longer recommend this facility. They seemed to have misled me when checking in on their well being and his that they were having bad diarrhea, were completely disorganized on pick up (which is a first), lost several of our items, tried to give me another animals medication instead of their own to take home, and may have administered another animals medication to my cats. I cannot trust them to care for my cats and be conscious of their safety while boarding there, and my cats are acting traumatized now that they are home. Spend your money somewhere that you pets will be safe.

At 12 months she began exhibiting signs of resource guarding and the intent to be the house alpha. Her positive treat based reinforcement group training wasn't getting us to where we needed and luckily we found Kaleb/All-Pro. She (and we) has been receiving personalized training with Kaleb since August 2025. She has come so far, and my (20 year old) daughter is doing the work needed as this is a high energy dog who needs more activity. Kaleb has introduced her to a variety of environments to build her tolerance and adaptivity. We've also used Kaleb for boarding several times now, and our experience is that he treats each pet as if it were his own. The location also provides plenty of room for the pets to receive nice outdoor supervised play time. All-Pro is definitely our go to! My only hesitation about writing this review is that I might struggle with availability for training and boarding as others seek out All-Pro. Pro-tip: Remember, as with any relationship you have to put in the work - and our pets for many of us are family

After that, she became aggressive, reactive, and completely stopped listening to any commands. We were heartbroken and unsure if we'd ever get our sweet dog back. Enter Kaleb. From day one, he was professional, knowledgeable, and confident in his approach. He took her in for a month of intensive board-and-train, and we just got her back -- the difference is night and day. She has done a complete 360. She's calm, well-mannered, responsive to commands, and -- most incredibly -- she can now be around other dogs with no issues at all. Kaleb even brought out other dogs to test her reactions, had them barking and creating distractions, and she never once broke focus. His training stuck, and it's clear he put in real work, care, and consistency. We can't thank Kaleb enough for giving us our girl back. If you're struggling with behavioral issues and feel hopeless, trust Kaleb -- he truly knows what he's doing. Worth every single penny. Highly recommend!

YAY! I get to finally write a review on 4P4L!!…read more We found 4P4L due to a Petfinder search back in 2021. The dog we initially adopted wasn't good with our cats even though he was fine in his foster home with the resident cat. 4P4L understood and we were able to return him. They had asked me to write an updated bio for him so that potential adopters would get a better understanding of his demeanor. He was such a sweet dog but my cats weren't his thing, which wasn't his fault in the slightest. I wrote the bio and he got adopted. I was then asked to volunteer and become a foster, so we started fostering. A 3 day sleepover for a foster pup is how we started and since 2021, we have fostered over 100 dogs and volunteer at adoption events. While it is so tempting to adopt all our fosters, we know we're just helping them adjust to home life. There have been a few that we invoked the 6 month rule: if we have the pup for 6 months, we would adopt him/her because at 6 months, you're a part of our pack. Last month, there was a need to foster these 2 rottie pups because it was time for them to separate from their momma and momma needed a break. Rotties are one of our preferred breeds! Well, we invoked the 6 DAY rule knowing that the pups would be adopted within the week. So that's it! That's how we got our Saoirse! Even if you cannot adopt, please think about volunteering with us or becoming a foster! A little weekend break from the kennel is what all the dogs need and you may just invoke your own 6 day rule!!

It appears this rescue is able to pick and choose their posted reviews! Really Yelp? What have you turned into if we cannot post our TRUTHFUL experiences here? This upsetting and honestly, it's CENSORSHIP! Let me try again and see if yelp decides to censor me again. We adopted a cockapoo here. My mother paid $480 for our girl. We arrived and she comes out to us, UNBATHED, UNGROOMED and she SMELLED awful. She had diarrhea all over her rear end and she was SO terrified, she was shaking and pooped in the girls arms as she was carrying her. It was OBVIOUS that not ONE person had worked with her, bathed her or groomed her since she arrived at this facility! Just put her up on line and waited for someone to adopt her. Clearly NOT in it for the welfare of these animals. Just the money. Never an apology or explanation for this. No follow up phone call to see how she was adjusting. NOTHING. Based on everything here, we DO NOT RECOMMEND this rescue. They are SHAMEFUL!

She was so hurt that my husband had to carry her to the car when she was picked up from City Bark Parker. City Bark did try and call us the night we flew back (at 6 pm - we picked her up at 7 am the next day) but they didn't leave a message or answer when we tried to return the call. So we didn't know she was injured until we arrived. They did reimburse us for the first vet bill but the total amassed to almost $3000, which was not all covered. But most importantly, our dog was in pain for days (our vet told us - and even called City Bark because of the clear neglect) without treatment. If you love your dog, I would not recommend sending them here. Also, they lost her dog bed and leash and she smelled strongly like urine when picked her up

NOPE...couldn't see her in the room where the dogs were playing, the room she is always in. For the next 90 minutes I checked --- and then there were no dogs anywhere. I thought maybe they were in kennels for a short break? Finally, I called at around 5:00pm to find all the dogs had left and she was alone. I asked if she was in a kennel and was told yes, but they would take her out for potty breaks soon? "Mother's Intuition" kicked in, I didn't care about losing the $50. we just spent at the movie, we left and headed to get her. I don't want to take up all your time with the very unsettling, unpleasant, unsatisfying, and even uncaring attitude of the three who I met who were sitting around doing nothing. No apologies that not one of them would play with our pup - they had nothing but time on their hands and just left her. The worst was how she reacted when we picked her up, and it was obvious she was upset. No one took her potty because she cried until we could let her out of the car to go potty. In the house she drank two complete bowls of water immediately, and she was whining. She is not used to being left kenneled like that these days. The attitude of everyone there was so, how do I say this? They didn't give a damn about how I felt. The girl at the register quickly stated...that will be $27. Never again, ever.

She is super sweet with the dogs. I showed her around, we went over her rates and she provided some paperwork for the dogs needs and wants. She lives in mountains edge area so she does not charge mileage rates if you live near there and rhodes ranch is included.. Yippee! We went to our out of town trip and she provided photos each day. Fun stuff too! She took the dogs on walks and made sure they were fed and taken care of. She even caught my lab jumping in the pool to cool off after a walk. It was hilarious! When we got home our mail was collected and everything was in place. She left a log chart of the time she got in and left and what was done that day. It also showed if they were eating good, etc. She text me the night we got home to make sure the dogs were doing good. They were doing great, they were pooped! I definitely plan on using Mary again in the near future. Great service and in the Southwest!
