In response to the business's response, our pup Wrigley had spent almost no time in doggy day care environments when we began the 6 week intensive training course at A Dog's World. Claiming we began training to combat reactive behavior in a doggy day care environment is a bold faced lie, as she had not spent any time in a doggy day care environment and certainly was not reactive. Additionally, when we agreed to spend several thousand dollars on a training course, we were skeptical, but we were promised that we would receive videos every day and tips for what was worked on that day. Most days we didn't receive this. Can you imagine a world where they're diligent about training but just happen o forget to send the training videos to the owner almost consistently? Adding context to this story, the owner reached out to us about extended training sessions a few weeks back on top of the several thousand we had already spent. We let the owner know we couldn't afford to spend thousands more on more of their training sessions at this time. Her next visit, she was banned and secluded for the entire day. Please be extremely careful trusting your pups with owners of such low moral character. read more

We love A Dog's World! Our two Frenchies have been coming here since they were eight weeks old and they are now 3 years and 2.5 years. I'm not kidding when I say my dogs literally try to leap out of the car to get inside because they are so excited to be here, which makes you feel really good about the place as an owner because you know your dogs are happy. The owners and the staff always go above and beyond to make sure your dog feels right at home. For instance, my 3 year old pup always struggled with getting his nails clipped at the vet or anywhere else because it made him extremely nervous to the point that he would bite. We decided to try the groomer at A Dog's World and one of the owners was nice enough to come hold him and keep him calm. Now it's the only place we will get his nails clipped because they make him feel safe. The owners and staff are super transparent, and they have live cameras in every area on site, if you ever want to check on your pup. They make it a really personal experience by always giving the doggies treats at the end of the day when you pick them up and offering tons of fun pet stuff at the front. Also, something that really melts my heart about this place is that they have a cat condo at the front where they support a local pet rescue by taking a few feline friends into their business to help get them adopted out. One last thing I'll add is that they have always been super flexible with our schedule. My husband and I are both firefighters and finding a doggy daycare/boarding where we could drop off early enough was really challenging. I have so far been unable to find a doggy daycare nationwide (on *both* the East and West Coasts) as amazing as A Dog's World in Roxborough/Littleton! I took my dog here from 4-months-old to 2-years-old before we moved out of state. Now that I'm not in the area, I will share the secret of how amazing this place is for dogs and their humans. First of all, the facility is spacious and they have separate "living rooms" to spread out the dogs inside. I also appreciated the webcam access. The gravel outdoor space is huge and allows dogs to really enjoy the outdoors and Colorado sunshine. Both the owners and the staff I interacted with were genuinely kind people and took great care of my pup. He LOVED going to A Dog's World for both daycare and boarding. Staff were always helpful to accommodate drop-off and pick-up times. We need more animal-loving founders like owners Nancy and Mike creating these safe and enjoyable environments for dogs. They truly cared for us. Highly recommend. I seriously miss having access to this place every day -- and I know my dog does, too. read more

We would give ten stars if we could! We cannot say enough about the owners and staff members. They treat our dog as their own, they are all experienced handling dogs and they understand dog behavior. Our dog, Maycee, hates all small spaces and must board in a free roam environment. This is the only place that provides this service. GROOMING REVIEW: Came here for a groom for our two dogs last year that we loved and that was perfectly sufficient that was $160. This year, because of the fact that they have a new groomer with 25 years of experience (which didn't matter to us one way or another, the grooming given last year was already great), the groom was $285. So the exact same service is now $125 more? Insane. We have dogs that aren't complicated to groom/bathe; a German shepherd and a border collie mix. These were booked as simple baths with some trimming up on one dog (realizing that would likely mean an additional fee; the same instructions were also given for both dogs last year) that turned into full service grooms (which explains the huge price difference) per their new policy that double coated dogs are full service grooms no matter what. It's my fault because I didn't ask for the price estimate this time and ask for what it was last time to compare the two before going there again, but last time we were very happy and happy to continue frequenting this place for every groom going forward, and now we will never be back. We trusted A Dog's World and this leaves a very bad taste in our mouth about this business. That insane of a price hike makes zero sense to us no matter how much experience the groomer has and any of their new policies they somehow justify to themselves that aren't truly justifiable. We liked the groomers last time, who asked for someone with that much experience that charged such a higher fee for their services? We sure didn't!! This place is a Dog's Heaven!! Not only is the location idyllic, just outside of the Roxborugh Park in a open canyon area, but the dog's never sit in kennels except when eating. They can free roam the boarding/day care area or the large, clean "play ground" outdoors. There are employees watching your pets 24 hours a day and you can pick up or drop off at any time! We've boarded our Siberian Husky several times since discovering this place and he seems happy and well cared for every time we pick him up! read more
