When I first started taking her, she was extremely anxious, but with time she's adapted and absolutely loves it there now. They know how to handle dogs, the environment is structured and supervised; not just dogs in a giant room unsupervised. She gets real care and attention. She runs up to Priscilla and Daisy with kisses and I can go to work knowing she's safe and having an amazing time. I also love that they do cute activities like pool time and post Instagram stories throughout the day so I can see what's happening. If you're looking for daycare, boarding, or grooming, definitely give them a try. You won't regret it.

It took her 6 months to be okay with my sister-in-law So when I say she grew to love our trainer Sasha, that means something. We say Sasha's name and Roma looks around for her! When we started, Roma was very anxious and nervous, with few ways of calming down in chaotic or packed areas. She was also a picky eater and had some reactivity. Sasha worked with us for 3 months and taught us so much. She guided us through each scenario, showed us we should have more confidence in Roma, and set us up with a system of tools, exercises, and mindset to empower her. Roma was nervous with the team at first, but by the 3rd month she fully trusted them. Now Roma is learning to stay in place and ignore people and dogs, and she's more confident in crowded areas. She's no longer picky with food either. We learned it's okay for her to skip a meal instead of bribing her with cheese. It's not the end of the world! If you have an anxious dog, take the leap. Ask a bunch of questions, come in with an open mind, and put in the work on the exercises and homework. We couldn't have done it ourselves with our busy schedule.

After a consultation at the residence-turned-dog-training-facilty we decided on the 3 week boarding program. We boarded our Maltipoo pup, Remy, during the peak of teething-destory everything era while we were out of town for wedding. The trainers were really great and patient with him. You could have also tell Remy was very comfortable with them. When we picked up Remy he was happy, healthy and very excited to see us. He also exhibited more attention and checked in with us more. Pulling on the leash became non-existent and his new default is now to sit in a heel position. The only improvement I'd suggest is that I wish I received more updates regarding Remy while he was boarded. We received a photo and say a couple of videos on Instagram, but more would have been welcomed. Regardless, we're happy with the training and the additional homework/tips to practice while at home. Remy continues to be a regular at the group trainings and other outings hosted by K9 Logic. I feel comfortable with my pup socializing with different dogs in the presence of the K9 Logic team.

We love this place & the trainers! Best boarding experience we've ever had & it shows in our dogs…read moreexcitement when they realize we are pulling onto the ranch. It is like summer camp for dogs, with a ranch style yard, swimming & hiking. Our dogs used to shake when we dropped them off at the boarders or groomers, but here they run straight to the back & don't even look back! What I love about the ranch as opposed to other boarders is that I know the dogs are continuously socialized & stimulated. They don't sit in isolated rooms, where you have to pay extra for socializing or play time. They get a lot of exercise -- you can pay for hikes or training sessions during boarding. And like the name says: it's affordable!! So I don't worry about the cost or impact of long-term boarding on my pocket or my dog. Which really helps with our busy traveling lifestyle. After using these trainers/boarders over the years, they've become like second parents to our dogs. I know they get love, belly rubs/pets, & treats. We receive photos of the dogs and can see how truly happy they are on the ranch. I fully trust them with my fur babies! We found Affordable Dog training when rescuing an aggressive/defensive large dog; he had issues with toy possession, trust issues, hand biting & sensitive areas from previous abuse. The trainers helped us with training in our house, at the ranch, & out in real-life situations. They recommended the best tools to help, like slip leads, short leashes & shock collars for training. We really saw the dog's demeanor change over training & every time we picked him up from the ranch he was more trusting & loving. We had a second dog with somewhat opposite behavioral issues: dog aggression on leash, pulling & defensiveness of owner. They knew exactly how to help in this case too! They helped teach us how to manage the two very different behavioral issues. I cannot recommend them enough!!! 100/10 best trainers & boarders you can find in the SF Valley & surrounding area.

Where do we even start? Our dog, Cooper, was adopted from a shelter after being surrendered twice…read more We quickly learned that he struggled with severe separation anxiety and couldn't be left alone. We became prisoners in our own home. We either had to take him everywhere with us or have one of us stay behind. It became a huge burden, and we found ourselves scheduling our entire lives around our dog. We decided to work with Dawit, and little by little, things started to improve. When we got Cooper back from training, he was like a completely different dog. He no longer pulled on the leash, was not reactive when he saw other dogs, his recall was amazing, and many of our typical worries disappeared. However, the separation anxiety still persisted. This is where Dawit truly deserves recognition. He never gave up on us or on Cooper. Our training journey probably lasted longer than most because of how severe Cooper's anxiety was, but Dawit went far beyond the typical follow-ups. Over the course of several months, the training sessions, check-ins, texts/videos, communication, and home visits finally paid off. There were times when I genuinely thought we'd never be able to return to a normal life, but our consistency combined with Dawit's continued support and new techniques made all the difference. Cooper can now stay home alone in his crate without issues. That being said, training only works if you put in the effort. We followed through with everything Dawit recommended, even when it was difficult or when we didn't see immediate results. It's easy to fall back into old habits or give up when progress feels slow, but perseverance truly pays off. Side note: Dawit is just an all-around great person who genuinely cares about what he does. Our dog absolutely adores him. We also love the boarding services he offers -- especially because Cooper comes home exercised and happy. Another huge plus is that Cooper is now off-leash certified, and we fully trust him to make good decisions. Yes, it can be costly, but it's an investment and honestly, I don't know another dog as well‑behaved as ours. I'm incredibly proud of the work it took to get here.
