    Group class!

We had such a great experience with K9 Logic Dog Training for our puppy, Harlow. The program was super clear, structured, and easy to follow--even for puppy parents. We saw improvement almost immediately, and within a short time, Harlow's focus, leash manners, and confidence improved dramatically. Huge shoutout to our trainer, Alice--she was patient, knowledgeable, and made everything feel really doable. She gave us practical tools we could actually use in real life (not just in a training setting). One of the best parts is the continued support after graduation. Being part of the K9 Logic alumni community means we can still reach out if we need guidance and join in on group classes, which is such a game changer. Highly recommend!

We couldn't be happier with the experience we've had training Raider. Before sending him in, he already knew his basic commands, but it was kind of on his terms. He'd listen... sometimes. We really wanted to tighten up his discipline and obedience while he's still young so that as he gets older, he's solid and reliable. The difference since training has honestly been huge. His obedience and overall discipline are on a completely different level. He can now go on 4-5 mile walks in a heel, which was never happening before. When we give him a command, you can literally see him thinking through it and choosing to listen instead of just doing whatever he wants. That control and focus is something we didn't have before. What I appreciate most is that it wasn't just "send your dog away and good luck." They trained Raider, but they also trained us. We've had multiple follow-up calls, and they're always available and super communicative. It really feels like a long-term investment, not a one-time transaction. The group outings every couple of weeks have also been incredible. Being able to continue training around other dogs in a controlled setting has made a huge difference, and it feels like we're part of an ongoing community. They genuinely care about Raider's progress and love seeing him improve. If you're looking for serious results but also long-term support, I'd 100% recommend them.

LONG OVERDUE and I never use yelp but I had to write a review A little bit of a late bloomer . But when Toby had reached around 4 years old I was convinced he was "too old " to be trained and that I would have to live with his on leash aggression forever. It felt like it was my fault that because I didn't train him early enough he developed these bad habits and that I was a bad dog parent . My common excuse was "he was a rescue" anytime he lunged at other dogs . Walks always became this mentally draining experience of always having to be on your guard in fear toby would hurt another dog . ( especially if the other dogs were off leash and had bad recall ) I would have nightmares about this. BUT , then I met Chris and K9 logic and he pretty much threw that whole mindset out the window and ensured me that any dog can be trained at any age . He insured me that my dog wants to make me happy , that if me and my wife committed to his training instructions that Toby could learn better recall and obedience . And sure enough that is what happened . Walks became easier and toby made friends ( who would have thought ) . Most importantly our bond became so much stronger through our training with Toby and with my wife. Toby passed in 2024 ( As I write this in 2025 ) But I am ALWAYS thankful for the life I was able to give Toby , all thanks to K9 Logic . Thanks to k9logic Toby was able to live a great life all the way up to 15 ! So thank you Chris . I will always appreciate it . I know Toby is always watching over us :D

This review is way overdue, but that's just a testament to how busy our Dogo Argentino, Mando, has been keeping us! We enrolled Mando in training with K9 Logic, and we couldn't be happier with the results. Kevin, his trainer, is truly amazing. He seems to have a special connection with dogs - Mando listens to him like no one else! When Mando was working with Kevin, he was an absolute angel, a perfect child. Of course, like any dog (or kid!), he has a different personality at home, haha! We genuinely believe that his early training with K9 Logic has made a significant and lasting impact on his behavior today. Kevin provided us with great tools and techniques that we still use today. Thank you K9!

K9 Logic is money well spent! My husband and I took our furry baby, Wally ,to the 5 week board&train at k9 logic. It has been 3 weeks since we picked him up and he is such a different dog! Chris and Jaclyn did such a great job transforming him to such an obedient dog. Prior to training, he would pull during walks, run towards other dogs out in public to play, didnt come towards us when calling his name and using the command "come", and would jump on everyone for attention. Now, Wally is engaged during walks, stays calm when other dogs/people pass by, and has great recall! It has been much easier taking him out on adventures with us! Jaclyn was so patient with us during the pick up and the follow up- training my husband and I how to use the tools provided to continue training Wally at home! I am confident that he is on the way to be certified Therapy Dog! Thank you Chris and your team for not only training Wally, but taking good care of him during the 5 weeks!

EDIT: Board and Train is from Dec 2023, my review is long overdue. LOL I've taken Harley, my 42lb block of muscle who's super sweet and full of energy, to other trainers in the past with some progress but after putting Harley in a 3 wk board and train to work on basic obedience and resource guarding with Chris and the K9 Logic crew, I've noticed a completely different pup. She's way better with recall and other commands but still needs some work on her resource guarding. During the evaluation, Chris demonstrated "yes" & "good" commands which she picked up quite quickly. After seeing how responsive she was I knew this was the right fit. I got weekly updates and videos showing her progress, and notes on how the crew loved her. When I picked her up, they set me up with a prong & e-collar and trained me on how to use the tools for a good 1.5hr. In the follow-up a week later, we went over how the week went. Chris really does take the time to answer all the questions. It's been a few months now and it's been pretty great being able to walk her off-leash on our hikes. We've also gone to a few of the alumni group outings at the Galleria/Americana which has been a great resource to ask any additional questions and to keep up with the training.

K9 logic has helped me and my pup so much. My golden was reactive on walks lounging so hard that I would fall on the floor. He walks right next to me now and is able to walk around the neighborhood with other dogs. I trust them to watch my pup when I board him for trips. I'm excited to start joining group outings with them now that my pup isn't his old reactive self. Mike and my pups relationship and quality of life has seriously improved since getting him trained here.

After Mochi arrived she visited weekly for in-home training, and each session was followed by a detailed email and PDF summarizing step-by-step what we learned. We had a deeply disappointing experience with Jesse and Proud Paws. During our initial…read moreconsultation, we explained our specific situation: a young puppy in a home with a 2-year-old toddler, and a desire to build good habits early before problems could develop. Jesse assured us that she had experience with this kind of dynamic. She strongly encouraged us to sign up for her "Puppy Rockstar" package which is eight sessions for $1,360. She came across as personable, confident, and knowledgeable, so we trusted her and paid in full upfront (though this was optional). Despite carefully following the program (including more than triple the 10 min minimum daily training time she advised) our puppy's behavior deteriorated. After three sessions, it was clear her training methods (which relied entirely on treat-based reward and offered no alternate tools or structure) weren't effective for our situation. We made the hard decision to go with a more intensive program elsewhere. When we contacted Jesse to explain our situation and request a prorated refund for the five unused sessions, she refused, citing a strict "no refunds" clause in her paper work packet. Her only offer was to put our remaining sessions on hold and extend their expiration, even though we made clear that we had already moved to other training out of necessity. It is important to note that the contract also included a clause discouraging us from working with or even taking advice from any other trainer during the program. In our view, this kind of exclusivity, especially in a situation involving a toddler and a rapidly escalating behavioral issue, was unreasonable and not in the best interest of our family or the puppy. Ultimately, we had to prioritize safety and act against the restriction as quickly as possible, even though we initially agreed in good faith. I made this clear to Jesse and offered a fair compromise, in my opinion, of allowing her to retain payment for an additional unused session as a gesture of goodwill. She declined. I voiced my frustration and, frankly, shock at her stance. When I told her I would be leaving a review of our experience, she said that doing so was "threatening her business." I clarified that we were sharing our honest experience so others could make informed choices. My wife and I don't see it that way-we believe sharing an honest account is important for other families deciding who to welcome into their homes with training. Her communication about resolving these issues reflects a rigid and transactional mindset rather than a client-focused one. That was particularly disappointing given how kind and understanding she initially seemed. I strongly advise others to approach with caution: If you choose to work with Proud Paws, I recommend avoiding prepayment, requesting a copy of any contract, and understanding there may be little room to adapt if things don't go as expected. Check out my other reviews-I hate leaving negative ones and have only done so once before. I much rather spread positive news with people and typically have much better luck on yelp finding the right providers. As an update: our puppy has been with a new trainer for just one week, and the change has been dramatic. She's calmer, better behaved, and able to interact positively with our toddler. It's been a complete turnaround. We're beyond relieved that we made the change, though still hurting from the way our family was treated here. Photo from that visit-because every review needs one moment of joy-attached.

The Team is knowledgeable, professional, communicative, helpful, always training-session timely - all around terrific. We searched for just the right trainer for Winston - and that for sure is Emily's K9 Training. He is a sweet lab but we totally could not walk with him. That was a huge concern because Henry would run after squirrels, other dogs - on our walks. So we wanted to be sure Winston would listen, and mind our commands while out and about. Emily trained Winston (and us) so perfectly. We love taking him on walks now - and he has faced some hugely distracting situations - completely busy park settings with people, pets, babies - everyone who comes up to meet and greet him - and pet him - cannot believe how well-behaved he is! We became prisoners in our own home. We either had to take him everywhere with us or have one of us stay behind. It became a huge burden, and we found ourselves scheduling our entire lives around our dog. We decided to work with Dawit, and little by little, things started to improve. When we got Cooper back from training, he was like a completely different dog. He no longer pulled on the leash, was not reactive when he saw other dogs, his recall was amazing, and many of our typical worries disappeared. However, the separation anxiety still persisted. This is where Dawit truly deserves recognition. He never gave up on us or on Cooper. Our training journey probably lasted longer than most because of how severe Cooper's anxiety was, but Dawit went far beyond the typical follow-ups. Over the course of several months, the training sessions, check-ins, texts/videos, communication, and home visits finally paid off. There were times when I genuinely thought we'd never be able to return to a normal life, but our consistency combined with Dawit's continued support and new techniques made all the difference. Cooper can now stay home alone in his crate without issues. That being said, training only works if you put in the effort. We followed through with everything Dawit recommended, even when it was difficult or when we didn't see immediate results. It's easy to fall back into old habits or give up when progress feels slow, but perseverance truly pays off. Side note: Dawit is just an all-around great person who genuinely cares about what he does. Our dog absolutely adores him. We also love the boarding services he offers -- especially because Cooper comes home exercised and happy. Another huge plus is that Cooper is now off-leash certified, and we fully trust him to make good decisions. Yes, it can be costly, but it's an investment and honestly, I don't know another dog as well‑behaved as ours. I'm incredibly proud of the work it took to get here.
