You'll find goodies to purchase for your pets and for the parents, too I like the ambience and the music they play. Today we had Ray as our groomer. He was awesome. He was very attentive with our fur baby's coat. He's a Shorkie so he has the width of a Shih Tzu and the colors, length and height of Yorkshire Terrier. He looks like a little Ewok. Ray made sure he asked about any concerns we had about styling Bozley's coat. We wanted to only trim his natural Mohawk but close for the rest of his body because it's a hot summer. He did such an excellent job with Bozley's coat and our little Bozley was so happy! We can tell he feels much lighter and cooler. We know that Bozley loves visiting the Hollywood Pet Center because he knows he's going to feel like a million bucks! Ray is really nice, always had a huge smile and was really good with Bozley. I was supposed to receive additional training classes with my dog included in my payment after the two week program and was told someone would reach out. They never followed up and didn't seem to care much. I know they are very busy with doggy day care and various training sessions/boarding and don't believe my dog received the individual attention required to have a successful training. I would recommend looking into other companies that can devote more time to their clients and give a more personal approach to training.

This review is a long time coming…read more Sandra is the hands-down best dog care person in the entire world. When we moved to the valley, we didn't know where we were going to take our 14-YO sweet dog, because sometimes she would get bullied at larger places, or ignored (and she's a social dog, even if she's old and sleeps a lot). Then we found Camp Little Wiggle. Sandra first of all, LOVES dogs. Additionally, she does a required try-out time with some other dogs to check temperament. That's right, no bullies. She sends us pictures regularly which is incredibly important to us - we're out of town when our dog stays with her, and can be slightly anxious worried about our pup, and photos do wonders for us so we don't worry so much. Even when our dog had a little rash, Sandra handled it so well - communicative, and followed instructions for care. I'm shocked she isn't booked out constantly - she is the best kept secret for good doggos. We literally call her Summer Camp Mom. And this is from someone who has had to find dog care for a dog now for fifteen years in LA! Our dog comes home exactly the same, which for other people in LA, you know that means its a great place - good socialization, enough activity, and no weird stuff they get trauma about. I don't know what we would do without Sandra and Camp Little Wiggle! Run, don't walk, to bring your pup to Sandra.

I was lucky enough to have found Sandra from Camp Little Wiggles through a referral from our groomer   Sandra has always made us feel at ease whenever we drop Zoe off. She has a calming presence and is very knowledgeable, responsible and experienced with dogs. She has 2 small dogs of her own and has created a safe space both inside and outside her home for small dogs to play. While we are on vacation, she routinely updates us with photos and videos and we know that Zoe is being properly cared for inside someone's home rather than being just another dog locked up in large boarding facility.   Over the years we have never had any issues and are very thankful that we found someone as trustworthy, caring and reliable as Sandra. Honestly, I cannot recommend Sandra and Camp Little Wiggles enough to other small dog parents in Los Angeles! If you are wondering about giving Camp Little Wiggles...I would try it out - you will not be disappointed.

However, after a few short, 3-6 day trips, we left our dog for 2 weeks while we went on our honeymoon in June, and things went poorly. To start with, Morgain made us wait 15+ minutes outside her home (which is in Van Nuys and not in Studio City as Yelp claims) and claimed she had "no idea" what time we were dropping off. Of course, I could have pointed out to her that I had put the drop-off time in the initial booking email AND the follow-up confirmation email, but I decided to let that go...But it was frustrating because we were on our way to the airport and hadn't anticipated such a delay. During our vacation, we didn't get very many photos of our dog, while we were away because she claimed her phone was broken. And then when we came back to pick him up, Morgain again made us wait outside for 10-15 minutes, despite the fact that I had emailed AND texted a half hour before. She didn't apologize but gave some excuse, and then proceeded to hand us our zip-lock baggie (clearly labeled with our dog's name) that had some other dog's kibble in it that looked very different from our dog's food. She rushed us away, but when we got into the car, we noticed our dog had a scab and a patch of missing fur on his nose. Clearly, his nose had been cut and had bled because the scab was dark red dried blood. I texted Morgain to ask what happened, and she claimed she "had no idea" but maybe he scratched it on some bougainvillea in the backyard. Basically, my dog had a gash on his face, and she claims not to have noticed him bleeding. I understand dogs are like little kids and can get scrapes and cuts, but the fact she says she didn't notice and didn't bother to tell us about it is upsetting. Luckily, my dog healed and his fur grew back weeks later. Since that incident in June, we have found another a dog sitter on Rover who has a big yard for our dog to play in but is much better about sending daily photos and keeping a close eye on our dog.

I brought him there because I had several specific behavioral issues I wanted addressed and trusted that I was leaving him with professionals. A few days into the program, I was contacted because Luka had stopped eating, and I was told to come pick him up. Throughout the process, I repeatedly asked for photos and videos of Luka. Simon, the owner, had told me that photos/videos would be provided, but I received nothing. To this day, I have no idea what happened during the time my dog was in their care or what training methods were actually used with him. What was most upsetting was the condition Luka was in when I got him back. The behavioral issues I specifically brought him there to address had not improved, and in my experience, he came home more fearful and more aggressive than before. I picked up a dog who seemed more frightened than when I dropped him off. Afterward, Simon suggested one-on-one training, but considering I had already spent $3,500 and had no visibility into what had happened during the board-and-train, I had lost confidence in the process. I was then told that I needed to "re-commit" to my dog and "rebond" with him, which was incredibly frustrating to hear after trusting them with my dog and paying thousands of dollars for professional help. The difference with my current trainer has been unbelievable. After only TWO sessions, Luka is practically unrecognizable in the best possible way. I'm finally seeing the behavioral improvements I had originally paid Andy's Elite Canine thousands of dollars to help me achieve. I rarely feel this strongly about leaving a negative review, but when it comes to trusting someone with your dog, especially overnight and out of your sight, transparency and trust are everything. Based on my experience, I would never leave my dog in their care again and cannot recommend them.
