As many others have already said, the owner is invasive and disturbing. You may not understand some of the extreme reviews until you experience this place firsthand. Unfortunately, my friends and I stopped in blindly. The owner followed my friends and me at a very close distance, with an egregiously strong cigarette odor. I tried on a long necklace I was interested in purchasing, and I wrapped the length of it around my neck. She said "leave it long" like an order, I explained I wouldn't style it that way, and she was handling it while it was on my body. Her behavior made me feel violated. She said my style is "arbitrary." After that, she took any other item I picked up and put them behind the counter as if I was not allowed to buy the merchandise. To another employee she said, "I don't know why these girls are even in here" and said to me, "Why are you trying everything on? Everything is beautiful. Everything is beautiful." I just had tried on two necklaces. No signage, mirrors everywhere, it was unclear why trying items on annoyed her. I am in disbelief that reviews describing similar experiences date as far back as 11 years and this place is still in business. It was just so unpleasant. It was bizarre. If I can give this boutique zero stars I would. Now I fully understand all the rest of the negative reviews. I entered the store to find a dress as I see a few beautiful pieces in the window while driving by daily. We were not greeted and just looked at like we came from outer space when we entered the store. Finally when we were asked if we were looking for anything I said yes a dress for my brothers wedding but it is difficult for me to find some thing. Does the store have beautiful peices yes, are they worth the horrible customer service....NO! Strike 1- once you walk in the store it reeks immediately of cigaretts and so do the dresses Strike 2- the owner tells me what she thinks i look best in verse what i told her as the customer and the person wearing the dress feels best in Strike 3- i tried 2 dresses on and was told i was "playing games" myself sister and mother were told to leave the store. I wasn't surprised to read so many bad reviews! I frequently pass Cami and admire the display windows so I went in today in search of a dress for a very special occasion. The sales person basically took no notice of the description of the style I wanted and pointed out lovely, but completely inappropriate dresses. Each time I passed over a dress she appeared to become more and more annoyed. After about 10 minutes, I saw a dress that I thought might work. I told her it was a possibility and that I had just begun my search. I had just turned back to the dress when she said, rather aggressively, "I don't like that kind of comment." When I asked her what she meant, she said that people come into the shop to buy their dream dress, and that she didn't want to be part of a rotation. People look around first and then buy their dress at her shop. Furthermore, she said she is either the last stop or the only stop, not part of the "process" ... so I thanked her and walked out. This was probably the rudest encounter with a sales person I've ever had. Customer service is certainly not in their vocabulary! She doesn't need to lose sleep over being part of my process. The owner harassed and pressured my wife, to include walking in on her naked in the changing room, to the point where my wife purchased far more then she wanted just to get out of the store and stop being harassed. I went into the store one day passing by beautiful pieces and lovely store. As for the owner and her daughter they shouldn't be judging anyone with the appearance they have. I told the lady I would be back with my daughter looking for a prom dress a few days later we came in and we chose a few pieces not a very wide selection of gowns. Yesterday I went into this boutique to look for a dress for a 14-year-old. never being in this boutique before I can tell you I will never go back again. After reading all the reviews regarding this boutique my story is the same so I'm going to try and keep it short and I myself have never taken to social media to write a preview before. My daughter goes to a Catholic school there are many many many restrictions it's almost impossible to find a dress. My daughter tried on one dress and then wanted to try on a strapless dress and I just let her try it on knowing it wouldn't work. Well first the dressing room curtains are sheer so you can see right through them which I think is inappropriate to begin with because now with these days and social media people can snap pictures and I don't think you should be able to see somebody changing plus men can see if I'm store . The dress looked lovely on my daughter the woman tried to sell me and was very pushy I explained she could not have strapless she said she could put straps on pushing and pushing and pushing it didn't matter because it would've taken away from the dress so when I started saying she can't do this and can't have that because of the restrictions she yelled at me and said now I think you're making things up.she had put a ribbon around my daughters waist to accent the dress and she was so angry she very nastily ripped it off my daughter. In this whole situation and this is what upset me the most she is 14 I don't care if you're happy or not you don't do things like that she was extremely aggressive when she did it which I'm going to call her today because I was so upset about being called a liar . As you walk into the store, you are not greeted, instead you are looked over very carefully and scornfully by the owner, as if she is thinking, "How dare you shop in my store, you don't look as if you have the money to afford anything." Wish I could give it zero stars. Never in my life was I treated so badly as I was by the owner of this store. It was several years ago when I was getting married. I went in looking for a mother of the bride dress for my mom to wear. My mom was on a business call and stayed outside on the phone. I started browsing the store and found some dresses that I liked and hung them in the dressing room for her to try on. My mom eventually came in, and was clearly ending her phone call. Next thing I knew, the store owner was hanging up the dresses that I had selected for her to try on. I told her not to put them back: I wanted my mom to try them on. "We are not a phone booth", she replied, and told me to "get out". By this time, my mom was already off of the phone and was telling her that she liked those dresses.
