Do Not Rent Here - Negligent Management and Constant Noise I have lived here for 8 months, and I cannot wait for my lease to end. The living conditions here are incredibly frustrating due to three major issues: Endless Noise: People are constantly playing loud music late into the night. Bass thumping and disruptive partying are a regular occurrence, making it nearly impossible to sleep or enjoy a quiet evening. Lack of Cleanliness: The property is constantly dirty. Common areas, hallways, and [specific dirty area, e.g., the trash enclosures/stairwells] are neglected, overflowing with trash, and rarely cleaned. Lazy Management: The leasing office and management team are completely unresponsive and lazy. When you report noise complaints or maintenance issues, they ignore them or do the bare minimum to brush you off. Management does not care about upholding community rules or the comfort of their residents. Save yourself the headache and look elsewhere for an apartment. read more

Do not move here, they have lots of problems with hot water so there's lots of days you will not have it. They also have a problem with mold, prior to moving in they didn't tell me the apartment had severe mold, they just paint over it. I just had a baby and the mold isn't good for neither me or the baby to breathe in. read more

I'm in the process of trying to rent this apartment and it is impossible to talk to anyone for help. My wife and I finished our applications and my dad was unable to finish his guarantor application because the website kept crashing. They offer a number to call which does not work. It literally says the number is invalid, the only option is to text someone and they give you 24-48 hours for a response. I assumed the move in process would be simple and fast, but their outdated website and lack of human assistance is giving off the impression that they do not care about their residents. At this point I think I just want the 410$ I spent back, my application literally cannot go through because their website won't work. It now says "invalid quote contact leasing department" so I need to wait 1-2 days while it rains on the streets because they basically took my money and are hiding away? I think i'm going to report them to the better business bureau because this is ridiculous. Update your customer service because this is not treating people like humans. You're not even willing to talk to your potential leasers in a timely manner. If this is a glimpse into what it's like to live at these apartments I regret ever applying. read more

They are scoundrels they charge everything they can in charges, deposit ECT, zero controls of noisy neighbors blaring music daily and on weekends, garbage up to the top daily on the trash container. the residents hoard several parking spots. water pools everywhere when it rains. the maintenance and response time takes a while. they will say they did not receive your rent because they want to charge 50extra in late fee charges you have one to have proof and physical copies of everything because they take advantage as much as they can. If I could give zero stars I would. I have been here three months and it is the literal worst apartment experience of my life. To start, no one is EVER in the office, even after covid has stopped. If you need to handle business relating to the apartment you have to tXt tHeIr nUmBeR to resolve and issue, but good luck. They have my number blocked now after needing them to do a fraction of the job they're hired to do. Secondly, god forbid there's a fee you miss on your account because they will lock the app that you use to pay and not notify you till it's too late. The only way to fix that? Oh you have to mail them a cashiers check to Bellevue Washington. While you wait for that check to clear they will put another fee on the account for being late making the payment and the cycle continues. Thirdly, did I mention that they're never in the office? I WISH someone would contact me about this place. If you have the choice of living here or being homeless, go buy a box. You'll have less stress in your life. I attached photos to prove it. Any nice reviews you see are fake. I checked. read more

Would not recommend. No one is every available to speak to you directly. They also never have management in office, nor is the office ever open. The apartments have 3 pools on site, that they never open, only when they(on-site worker) have family members wanting to use it, they then open it. When you're asked to make requests or complaints on the app, they open & close your request without replying. If you plan on moving here I'd suggest looking for an apartment complex who will answer your phone call instead of asking you to "text" them. read more

We were set to move in to one of their locations and on our first day found several roaches through out the home. After bug bombing the place ourselves with 6 bug bombs we kept finding more live roaches and contacted property management to send someone out. They sent someone out after 2 days. The guy dropped a single bug bomb, used up OUR bug spray, and used no tools of their own for the roaches and the place continued to be filled with roaches. After this we backed out of the lease as to not live in a roach infested home. According to the lease we are to recive the deposit and all money due within 2 weeks of lease termination. At the 2 week mark we recived an email saying they will mail a check to us in the next 2 to 3 weeks and we are still waiting on our money back from them. read more

DONT APPLY HERE . WORST PLACE EVER FOR IT BEING MY FIRST EXPERIENCE. Due to my high risk pregnancy I had to stop working and asked for my 500 deposit back (not holding deposit). On the website it says both applicants MUST sign. I signed everything . My partner was my co-applicant . Never did he sign anything . All he did was provide his stubs . He had to provide them twice because the lady couldn't find the first ones he had sent . I never finalized the paperwork by signing ,I'm entitled to get my $500 back . This place is money hungry . I paid 600$ total with the application fees. My move in date was suppose to be on the 26th . The lady said it was set to be the 20th . Which makes no sense bc the apartment wasn't going to be ready until the 26th . Also had me wait 40 minutes with my one year old in the car until I decided to leave bc no one answered the phone or messaged me back until way later after I had left . Made me waste my time and gas when I had already made arrangements with FABIOLA to go at a certain time . They're management is POOR it is the worst . Communication sucks never do they answer the phone . They're NEVER at the office . Their way of communicating is through a text message that's UNPROFESSIONAL . Utilities aren't included neither is pg&e so you're roughly adding another 200$ to rent with them . Plus $50 for parking (monthly) What apartment complex charges for parking !!??? Arthur and Fabiola have given me the worst experience . Save your money . read more

I just recently applied for a lease online, the next step was to contact a 866 number which takes you to a riverside location. I called every number including a new one (that takes you to the same place) 442-7629. I just want someone to reach out to find out if my lease was approved or if I can get my money back and look elsewhere since we are trying to move by December. WHO CAN I SPEAK TOO??‍ read more

Worst experience ever. Their customer service is the worst. I went for a tour and no one was available to help with anything. I was looking around for 30 minutes for the apartment to view. I did an application online and they charged me 500$. I have been trying to contact management and still have been unsuccessful. All they want to do is text messaging. I do not recommend this apartment complex or UDR. read more

Very upsetting that this community has a roach infestation. They should do check ups on people apartments making sure they are keeping them clean. Very concerning that roaches live within the apartments. They need to figure this out before leasing roach infested apartments to hard working families. read more

The only reason this place deserves any stars is the because of the maintenance staff, I will give credit where it's due, any time I needed something fixed they were on it fast. However the rest is a dump! I lived here for two years, there was constantly trash everywhere, at least two shootings and who knows how many break ins, I finally decided to look for another place and move. I gave my notice, turned my keys in and moved out in November. A week later I receive my statement from the office with what they charged for cleaning and what was left of my deposit. The statement said it was final and signed by the manager, a few days later I received my check from UDR and it matched the statement, so that should be the end right? Well no! I get a call, which is now about four months later stating that they sent me a revised statement (even though the one I received said final) which now has another $500 in damages and are sending me to collections because I have not paid it. When I told the girl on the phone I never received this, she sent me an email, however there was no break down of what these "damages" were. When I asked if she could send me a breakdown she told me she did not have one and was not obligated to provide one, because as she put it "it's not hurting her credit" she then told me that since I was refusing to pay she was ending our call and hung up on me. So long story short, save yourself the headache and go somewhere where it's worth the money you're paying here and that has a professional staff and management company! read more

I can NOT WAIT to LEAVE this place! First of all total rip off. The unit itself is supper old not even updated to the pictures we have been shown. Second they're were many hazards in the apartment that I kept COMPLAINING about back to back and was never ever fixed. This is not a safe place I had a tweaker almost break into my home while I was alone I called the cops they arrested him. But cmon theyres a fence why isn't the fence being used????? And EVERY MORNING AND NIGHT theyres a guy walking supper fast and always ALWAYS COUGHING, that is annoying as helllllll. Everyone complains nothing is ever done tho. Even when they have security that don't even do they're job but try to act like they're cops they can't even be part of the solving problem of how shitty this place is. And to mention they have a community pool that is never clean and never available for people to use. I literally see kids jumping the fence and going over to use it. It's a HAZARD. and washing stations??? Literal garbage. The washers are disgusting as hell the floor is completely messy the trash is always overfilled. It's really bad. And I have had a fruit fly problem since the start of my move in. I did mention it but was anything done??? No. And the people who live here are weird they should look into people who actually live here or apply. When I lived there my neighbor were always fighting and kicking each other out and the guy saying that he was dying. It was weird! And then a lady who would bring many guys inside her place and work as a taxi driver that literally called the cops in the middle of the night on her boyfriend for some threat. Oh and the floors?? It's not even like actual floor tile it's like plastic it's annoying. And they do overcharges like crazy. The staff is never helpful I think I have even gotten my number blocked before. Don't live here even if it's the last place that has availability just DONT. read more

Management Staff is very rude. They left a note on my door stating that my rent check bounced and demanding that I bring them a cashiers check within 24 hours. After bringing them proof that I had the funds in my bank account, they revealed that they hadn't even tried to cash it...it just couldn't be electronically scanned because my check had been folded. I lived there for a year, the water to the whole complex was shut off at least 5 times and only 1 of those was with any prior notice. The walls are thin and you can hear every step your upstairs neighbors take. And lastly, you're going to pay a fortune for garbage because everyone in Salinas leaves their old mattresses at the complex dumpsters. The tenants all split the extra charges for hauling. read more

Very displeased that i set up an appointment a week in an advanced to look at these apartments. I received a call the day off and he was confirming my appointment. It was at 2, he asked if 2:30 was ok? I said yes! My husband and i showed up exactly at 2:30 and walked up to the office to see a sign saying it was closed!! My husband and i were super upset! We waited for 5 mins and nothing. We decided to leave and then at 2:50 pm i got a call from the apartments. I didn't bother to answer! Not a great impression! Dont waste your time! read more

I've been living here a year now and even though it took them a year and some possums to finally fix my fence, they got it done quickly. They also made other repairs quickly and efficiently in the past. The staff listen to any and all concerns and work with u to find a solution if needed. My only concern here are sone of the tenants. And the security patrol. read more

They have good size apartments, and they feel real cozy. They have nice upgrades, and they're making a lot of nice exterior changes. The staff has been extremely polite and always there to help. This apartment was by far the friendliest complex I took a look at did go to other locations before coming to this one but at other locations the staff just seemed like they didn't care I made an appointment showed up to it and Arthur helped me out he showed me two different units I liked both of them left came back and I just couldn't pass the location of this complex compared to the other locations. All the staff here was amazing very friendly and hassle free. I would highly recommend this property to friends and family. read more

Safe and quite place to live, staff is very professional and friendly.

I would NOT recommend leasing from these people. The leasing staff is very UNPROFESSIONAL & UNTRUSTWORTHY. The "leasing manager" Arthur, gave us the wrong information multiple times regarding the apartment we applied for. He assured us that we were getting an upgraded apartment with new appliances & that could not have been further from the truth. He couldn't show me the exact apartment we were applying for because it was "unavailable" at the time so he showed me one that was upgraded and had new appliances & in his exact words, it was ALMOST EXACT to the one that I was applying for. He forgot to mention that it was only a similar layout, & it was an older 2006 model with NO upgrades. I now know why he wanted us to sign (AND pay) before seeing the apartment. I should have known better than to pay an online leasing fee before viewing the apartment, but I decided to trust his word. Due to being misinformed, we requested a refund for the online leasing fee but WOULD NOT refund us. I spoke with the apartment manager Oscar & he was very unprofessional. He kept interrupting me not letting me explain the situation. The other reviews here are right when they say this place just wants to take your money!!! Extremely disappointed & I am RELIEVED that we did not move into these apartments. We hadn't even moved in yet & were already having issues with the staff! Do not trust UDR. I called corporate as well & NOBODY even tried to understand my situation. Horrible customer service. read more

Not a fan of this place at all, would never live here again. The staff is hard to get a hold of and they never email you back. When I first moved in they said I had an upgraded room, but there were about 3 issues with the room. Not happy about that. Parking is such a hassle and they put the sensor behind the first set of apartments, which is ridiculous. So the people who live in 45-48 have to back up every time to get out. The landlords never knew about that. Cars will be parked here for weeks or months as a time and no one ever done anything about it. Security doesn't do their job at all. Was never taken seriously here and did not appreciate it. Big hassle moving in, would not want to live here again. read more

Oh man what a shit hole. My boyfriend and I are apartment hunting, and had an appointment and tour of this place yesterday (1/27/16). The pictures on the udr website are very nice and clean with nice, new appliances in the kitchen... it wasn't anything like the pictures. The hallways (makes it look like a hotel) were filthy and trash was everywhere. The apartment they showed us smelled disgusting. Musty, moldy kind of smell. Way too expensive for the condition of this place. And no utilities included?! Not to mention the number of robberies and car break-ins reported here. read more

If you dont drive a car then this place might work for you. They only assighn 1 space, if you gave 2 cars look forward to having to decide which is a lesser cost. 1. Parking outside the gate and risk your car getting broke into..or 2. Try to find a space inside and risk being towed by your own complex even when your car has a parking tag and pay $375..I think this complex gets a commision and I sm not the only resident that thinks so..This complex bites. read more

I have lived here for about a year and a half a few things have happened but not threatened to my family. The service from maintenance has been outstanding from the beginning. Don pedro gave a hand when I arrived to get a couple of heavy things out of the moving truck. Armando has also helped me several times to get the best of the deals on renting. I recommend this place even when it seems a high price at least in my opinion it is worth it. read more

Nice and quiet place. Never had problems with the neighbors or my apartment. They're doing a lot of changes and upgrades which is good because the property needed it. BEWARE OF APARTMENT 27W!! Do not rent here!! Doesnt even deserve 1 Star! This place was such a nightmare dealing with these people! Signed a contract last month to move in by the 5TH of May, 2017. Received a call from the office staff that the apartment wouldn't be ready on May 5th at 1pm right before we were supposed to pick up the keys Reason why: ready for this? The apartment we were going to be renting had a " bug problem" and it needed to be treated. Hearing this I was freaked out but against my better judgment and after enough reassurance from staff and contacting an exterminator myself to ask if 2 treatments performed would kill eveything stupid me felt a little better, especially being told originally that they were going to tent the whole unit of 4 apartments just to be sure these bugs weren't elsewhere in the building ... so, after us being understanding and saying ok how long till we can move in? we were then given a some what of a kind option of them letting us move into a studio this weekend on the 13th until our nasty apartment would be ready and bug free. (Even tho that meant us having to move twice) Fast forward to tues May 9th when we receive a call at 4:45pm 4 days before we planned on moving into this studio for a week We were contacted by staff again that , we won't be able to move into a studio either after all because the apartment will actually need 3 treatments instead of 2 due to the bug problem being so out of control apparently up stairs at one of the other units connected to the one we were supposed to move into- We were told this 4 days before we had to be out of our current place of residence. Unfucking believable! These people call us 4 days before we are homeless to tell us there is nothing they can do for us and that if we can find a place to stay for 3 weeks until the place is ready in June because they can't put us up in a studio for longer than 2 weeks now. Hahaha. Really why the hell would we want to move into this bug infested place that needs 3 treatments?!?! It's bad enough I was stupid and desperate enough to be ok with 2!! Total blessing in disguise because if that apartment is going to take 3 treatments to kill cockroaches then no way in hell do we want to live there even more now, Especially knowing that it's from a neighbor who actually doesn't mind sharing an apartment with bugs and who obviously is a pig and will just have these cock roaches back in the unit living it up, in no time again... how the hell I could have even considered moving after 2 treatments is bad on my part! We were just desperate and needed a place asap knowing that our house had sold and we needed to be out asap. Please learn from my mistake and do not settle. If you know you have to move out . Look as soon as possible . Even a month ahead wasn't good enough because people like cambridge court can fuck you and not do a damn thing about it. Yes they did give us all our money back but because they had to! Im sorry but These people had to have known this unit was bug infested and had this problem and got 2 suckers to sign a contract last month so that we would be screwed and have no other choice but to move in because really, how the hell can anyone find another place last minute in 4 days??? They had to have known the move in date would be later originally. In closing : I am happy to say we found a beautiful place in Monterey with NO COCK ROACHES and no pigs living above us that find it ok to share their lives with bugs. If this unit at Cambridge has them, then those bugs are everywhere there! if you go to rent there , be sure you have an exterminator check your unit prior and do not, DO NOT MOVE INTO 27W unit. You have been warned. read more

Horrible place to live. I will not recommend this place to anyone. Don't let the website photos fool you. Theirs always drug dealing going on in this complex, people just smoke pot in their balcony like if it's just normal to do so. The cars are always being broken into, the security guy they have there is always chasing people around and he doesn't do anything about the pot smoking. During the day he ain't even doing his job. It's not safe to take out the trash at night. The office staff are misinformed and incompetent . The pool is only open 2 months out of the year and when it is open its super packed. There is never any parking lots available people are always fighting for a spot, and no visitor parking either if you have family visiting they have to park on the street far away or they will be towed. The apartments are moldy seems like they only paint over the mold instead of fixing the problem, and don't expect your deposit back seems like they make up any excuse to keep your deposit. We turned in the apartment in better conditions that what we received it In and they told us it wasn't up to their standards so they stayed with our deposit. The water was constantly shut off with out letting us know it would be shut off and it wasn't just for an hour or two most of the times it was shut from 8am till 5pm. Not family friendly at all this place does not deserve a single star. Glad I will not be raising my kids in this environment. read more

I lived there for one and a half year. When I first moved in, all sounded real good. A good place to live and close to town. This was ALL A CROCK of dog POO. The safety and security did not make me feel safe. I had my apartment broken into, someone was ALWAYS parked in my space, there was ALWAYS illegal activities in the complex wash room area. Children ALWAYS left alone wondering around, screaming from the top of their lungs from a distance for help, people running into the complex away from the police. The most disappointing was the rent ALWAYS going up as if they wanted you to leave; a charge for this and a charge for that. At time the managers didn't have an answer to my questions. The gates were left open all night at times, it was supposed to be a gated community but it seem to be the traffic for EVERYONE to come in, even if they didn't live there. To get maintenance to fix things in the apartments was like pulling teeth. I made a bad choice of living here and I'm passing this on to anyone looking to live in these apartments. I woul NOT recommend this place to live.... read more
