Fox Creek Village is so convenient, like all the other reviewers mentioned. We have Target, Walmart, Marshalls, Michaels, and Safeway just down the street. We have a Dollar Tree across the street as well! TIP: Use their gym. I don't know if you gym or not, but if you only do cardio or want a treadmill or an elliptical, use their gym. Why? Because it smells fan-tas-tic. I swear, this is the best smelling gym I've been to. it's very small but it is pretty great. I only do 30 minute jogs and this is where I go to do my jogs. P.S. Do not go to In-Shape (which is across the street too, yay!) Susan has been very helpful with living conditions and every time we have trouble, we shoot her an email and she usually helps us take care of it. Rent is pretty cheap comparable to Irvine (where I used to live) and it is not bad at all! You get your own parking space & there are plenty of parking spots without the hood. I don't think they are too strict on visitors, so that's great as well. I would totally recommend living in this apartment complex if you are moving to this area! :]

The property also has a pool, hot tub, sauna, and a gym; all for the residents. Not to mention the fact you also get the use of a washer/dryer inside your apartment! They also have several different layouts involving 1 and 2 bedrooms, and some have fire places. Susan is the property manager and she responds to any needs or requests very quickly. It's a quiet complex, with many of the residents having been there for several years. All in all, it's a great, affordable place to live in Salinas.

I would not recommend CPM based on my experience as a property owner. If I could, I would give them…read morezero stars. Throughout my time working with them, I felt that my concerns were not taken seriously and that tenant interests were prioritized over protecting my property. Despite a clear no-pet agreement, a dog was allowed on the property. I was informed that the tenants were advised by CPM to obtain a doctor's note identifying the dog as a "therapy" animal. Meanwhile, neighbors reported ongoing issues, including the dog behaving aggressively and attempting to get through the fence. At one point, I was told after an inspection that no dog was present. Later, when neighbors continued to report the dog being there, the explanation changed. I was told the dog belonged to the tenant's brother. Regardless, the dog remained on the property. The backyard sustained damage, and I was left responsible for repairs without additional pet fees being collected. There were also financial concerns. The rent increase never took place, I had to ask for it to be increased due to all of my expenses for the home going up. Additionally, despite the home being recently remodeled inside and out prior to tenancy, I continued to see charges for what I considered unnecessary repairs. I frequently had billing questions and accounting that didn't add up or make sense. Communication was another major issue. I was initially told by the business owner, Carrie, that neighbors would be provided with contact information in case of issues, but according to my neighbor, that never happened. I ultimately had to provide the neighbor with CPM's contact information myself so they could report the dog concerns directly. Working with the office staff was frustrating. It was often difficult to reach the assigned property management contact Susan Correa, and most of the time she did not have answers to my concerns. Eventually, I began emailing Carrie directly because I was unable to get clear answers. When I informed her that I intended to terminate services, I did not receive a response. Overall, I felt unsupported as a homeowner and dissatisfied with the service and communication. They do not care about your property, you have to advocate on your own! Based on my experience, I would highly suggest you to not pay this company for the WORST service!

There was a recent negative review that was posted and I have to say none of those things are true. Management here is extremely respectful of privacy while also caring about each and every resident. In my many years on Yelp, I rarely leave a review, good or bad, but this is bugging me way too…read moremuch. My wife and I just got the annual notice for our lease renewal at Creekbridge, and they're notifying us that our rent is going up $180 in August. We have been here for almost 11 years and in the last 4 years, our rent has gone up by almost the same amount as in the previous 7 or 8. In August we will be paying $2,430 for a 2-bedroom apartment, which is pretty ridiculous. The apartments are nice, but not worth it to be honest. Especially with all the dog shit from all the dog owners that don't pick up after their pets. It seems like the owners are more worried about investing in building new apartments, than in the ones they already have, and keeping their current residents happy. Another thing that bothers me are the light poles. There is one near the 1715 units that fell down many months ago, and they haven't replaced it. There are wires sticking out, and they just put an orange safety cone on top of them. There are other poles that are pretty rusted and provably a safety hazard for kids playing outside. We rarely ask for anything and when we get something (refrigerator, washer), it seems to be the cheapest model they can get their hands on. I could go on and on about parking, the pool, the gym, and other issues, but maybe that would be a waste of time, since management doesn't seem to care about complaints. All I know is that my wife and I are not as happy here as we once were. I feel like they are kind of pushing us out in a sense, and we will likely be out of here as soon as we have a chance.

Myself and another resident have experienced poor communication, incorrect fees, and management entering the residence unannounced. Below, I have detailed those experiences: Initial Apartment Viewing: When the initial apartment viewing was scheduled, we had arrived to the apartment complex and no representative had shown up from 36 North Property Management. We had not received any communication until later in the day when we were contacted with by a representative via email that they had accidentally missed our appointment and had to reschedule our viewing. We do have the email proof of this as well. Scheduling: For inspections, we were never provided an exact time. We were only provided time ranges that that might show up at. For future residents, this is important to keep in mind that you may have a difficult time planning around work or other daily tasks. Deposit: We were informed of a specific price for the deposit and, when dropping this off, were informed that we were short and that they would add this onto our first payment. This was incorrect and an error on the 36 North Property Management's end and we do have email proof of requesting verification with no response. Check out: $900 was deducted from the deposit citing charges for "Shower glass, shower head, shower walls, toilet, bathroom sink, oven, broil cabinet, floors throughout the unit need to be cleaned, including several cabinet drawers and kitchen sink need to be cleaned. Baseboards and walls will need touched up." To an individual reviewing the paperwork, this may look like the apartment was in poor shape following a year of living in the apartment and entering the apartment with prior damage from previous occupants (I have pictures of this available upon request with dates attached). However, I can include the pictures provided by 36 North Property Management that indicates an otherwise clean apartment given the above. Furthermore, the employees that performed our pre-move out inspection ONLY noted the mark on the wall from the couch which had been otherwise touched up following it being brought to the occupants attention. No other recommendations for cleaning were provided at the pre-move out inspection. Lastly, we checked to receive a lock box to drop off our keys and never received one. We had to take time out of work to stop by the physical office to drop off the keys. Annual Inspection: In regard to the annual inspection that took place during our residence, we were provided a notice on our door stating the 15th. However, they did not present to the apartment on this date. Employees presented to our apartment unannounced on the 25th for an inspection. If the other resident was not present in the apartment at the time of the inspection, we would have not known they had entered the premises unannounced
