I got my cat back in November and have been bringing her to Cambridge Cat Clinic since then. She's had to have a big surgery and has a heart problem, and every time I bring her in she is met with nothing but smiles. I can always tell they take good care of her! The communication is also top notch. I wrote an e-mail this morning at 8AM and had a response within an hour. I was very apprehensive about picking a vet but I'm so glad I picked Cambridge Cat Clinic. I've been continually impressed by their operation. read more

I was super excited to see a veterinarian in the area - especially a cat only business! Scheduling online was fine. Receptionist confirming the appointment was lovely. What wasn't lovely? The vet. She was a hostile woman who appeared to be frightened of cats. She had never heard of national, name brand cat foods like Fancy Feast, Purina, etc., and recommended Hill's and other prescription brands that my cat didn't need. The vet is an angry, money hungry woman. Avoid. read more

I am so grateful for the incredible staff at Cambridge Cat Clinic - kind, understanding, and incredibly responsive.

Very nice, knowledgeable staff and veterinarian quickly diagnosed our cat's issue and got him the medication needed.

We love Dr. Levine. She is patient, kind and compassionate with Love Buggy. She goes above and beyond to make us both feel comfortable. The front office staff, and the vet techs are amazing. I can't praise the Cambridge Cat Clinic enough. The team truly cares about your little companion. read more

We've been using Dr Widman for 10 years now - some of the cats she helped us care for are gone. You will never find another vet who knows cats as well as she does. Just one example - she helped us give our beloved doctor Wilson a few more quality months by telling us to preheat his subcutaneous fluids in a warm water bath. Imagine how he felt getting room temperature fluids (68 degrees) - he hated it but warmed up - he accepted the fluids quite happily. I'm always learning from her. I can not recommend her enough. read more

Yesterday, I switched vets to Cambridge Cat Clinic (from Porter Square Vet) and I'm so glad I did. When I called, the front desk staff were warm and friendly. The vet then spent an hour talking to me! The vet went through my cat's records and immediately focused on my cat's weight loss. She informed me that the kidney disease wouldn't cause weight loss but his GI inflammation meant he wasn't getting nutrition. Oh! I wish I had known that sooner. She suggested a gastric biopsy to definitively figure out the cause, but because it's a surgery we decided to start treating it as inflammation with steroids and b12 injections right away. If the treatment fails then it's likely to be leukemia. I feel that with Cambridge Cat Clinic, I have an expert on my side. They are focusing on the right treatments and tests. Through out it all, they are being friendly, patient, and compassionate. Go to Cambridge Cat Clinic. read more

I will have to agree with the multiple previous comments about the receptionist being a nightmare to work with. I checked their website, which look super welcoming and deliberately said they were accepting new clients. So I called hoping to make an appointment for my kitten. The lady who answered the phone kept saying no no no. Vaccination? No, our earliest appointment will be too late for your animal. Ok, how about health check? No! Micro chipping? No! Spraying/neuturing? No! All I got from this receptionist was no no no! Basically they don't want to see us and they are turning away all business. I was hoping to establish a relationship with this clinic as I live nearby and the vets seem to have got great reviews. But hiring such a receptionist who kept saying unreasonable no's is the biggest mistake for the vets as business owners to make. read more

I have been bringing my now 15 year old cat here for about a year and we love it! He can be a bit moody, but Dr. Levine and her team have learned what works best for him and they make it as quick and painless as possible. Reading other reviews, I am shocked at the negative comments about the receptionist. I've had to call frequently regarding appointments and medication over the past year and she has been nothing but kind and helpful. I'm glad we found this spot! read more

I've seen both doctors there for routine care, and called in a few times with questions, and it's been great. My cat is pretty healthy and well-behaved, if extremely anxious, at the vet's, for context, so not a difficult patient. But they both clearly enjoyed treating her, and generally fussed over her and made the exam very gentle and spaced out the different parts in between taking a history and discussing concerns with me to reduce stress. The first visit Kitty fear-cuddled the vet, who was clearly delighted but also offered me a prescription for anti-anxiety meds for future visits. Both vets have been willing to discuss minor issues and preventative care at length. I've called in a few times with concerns and the front desk has always been able to get back to me quickly with the vet's advice. I really appreciate how much time they've spent talking to me about keeping kitty healthy and happy and preventing problems as much as possible, and their advice has been really helpful! The office is small, but never crowded. Only street parking. No dogs, of course, a big plus for nervous cats like mine. They sell some food and heartworm/flea & tick medications but don't push it - both times they've recommended things, they'll just pull it off the shelf and be like, this is what I would recommend. You can find it at most pet places. One time I had to ask, oh, could I just buy it here? Very low-pressure, and it wouldn't have been at all awkward if I'd decided to buy it elsewhere. (They've also never asked me if I needed to re-purchase.) Very much recommend for cat care. I've been really happy with them. read more

This clinic is absolutely fantastic, since it opened its doors i have been taking my 3 legged friend for a no of issues. The staff are a great bunch and Dr Levine and Dr Widman are a great team together. The assistant staff are also top notch and if i call them for advice on anything it is freely given. A no of times i have stopped by and both Dr's have made time to answer my questions freely without rushing me. Thanks to all for helping out my Misty cat although my cat does not like it as she knows what's gonna happen. But when she is home again is always grateful after the visit .Highly recommend . read more

This is one of the worst experiences I've had with a business. I'm a middle aged guy- I don't usually write reviews but this was way over the line that I have to WARN PEOPLE TO STAY AWAY FRIM THIS BUSINESS. The receptionist borderline verbally assaulted me by telling me I shouldn't be in there and saying she didn't want my business. She was a middle aged blonde woman. I was dressed appropriately and they had no reason to deny me - maybe they're racist ? (Im a monitory). The owner was definitely there overlooking so this is definitely not a one time issue. GET THIS BUSINESS OUT IF CAMBRIDGE. I wouldn't trust this establishment with my pets... read more

We have never been so happy with a vet as we have been with Cambridge Cat Clinic and Dr. Widman. During our first visit, she had thoroughly reviewed all of our cat Tony's records and spent over an hour with us going through medical history, examining, and answering questions. She is incredibly clinically astute and her practice is evidence based - everything she has recommended has come back providing useful information that has been helpful in Tony's clinical care. Recently, a test came back abnormal, and ever since, she has spent hours answering questions, explaining next steps, and making sure we feel comfortable with the decisions made. She so clearly has Tony's best interest at heart and I am so thankful that she has taken so much time and effort to ensure that we feel equipped to make decisions that are best for us and for Tony. The entire staff is absolutely lovely and caring I truly can cannot recommend Cambridge Cat Clinic and Dr. Widman more, we are so thankful to have found this practice. read more

I've been going to Dr. Widman for many years and was happy to follow her to her new clinic. She has always been extremely caring and gentle with my cats and she is extremely knowledgeable. I trust her implicitly. She's also great about doing what she can to save me money - if something doesn't absolutely have to be done she won't do it. I highly recommend Cambridge Cat Clinic! read more

Our two cats were patients of Dr. Laura Widman at Boston Cat Hospital, and we happily followed her when she and a partner opened Cambridge Cat Clinic, even though it's not as close to where we live. One of our cats gets frightened and can be a challenge to examine, but Dr. Widman handles her really well and is extremely patient and understanding. She also offers practical advice about treatment options. The staff is also great with follow up communications. We highly recommend Cambridge Cat Clinic. read more

I can't recommend Cambridge Cat Clinic highly enough. I've been bringing my cat to Cambridge Cat Clinic for a few months now. I initially brought my cat due to a tail related injury that's required a number of follow-up visits. They have also been treating him for hyperthyroidism, which they detected and diagnosed. Dr. Widman, Dr. Levine, Sarah, Tara, Esther, and the entire staff have kind, compassionate, and exterminator helpful during all of our visits. They regularly call a day or two after our visits to check on the status of my cat. My cat gets very anxious going to the veterinarian, especially when there are dogs in the waiting room. With Cambridge Cat Clinic being feline only, it has made all of these recent vet visits so much easier. If you're looking for a veterinarian to bring your cat to, I highly refer Cambridge Cat Clinic. read more

The receptionist Esther is very rude. She told me it would be $75 to assess my cat for urinary problems and then proceeded to tell me there are no appointments till March. I really could have done without the attitude. If there are no appointments, please have an automated message saying that. I would rather talk to bot instead of this woman. I'm happy to pay three times as much and drive 1/2h each way to take my poor kitty Angell Memorial, they are so kind there and always know what they're doing. read more

We've been VERY satisfied with our experience over the past few months at Cambridge Cat Clinic. CCC has been the most professional, responsive, and thorough veterinarians we have ever relied upon. We have an older cat that has needed considerable medical attention lately. They have been able to see her on very short notice, whenever she has had a problem, and suggested a conservative course of treatment that was both minimally invasive and fully addressed the issue that she was having. read more

My fiancé and I brought our cat Fluffy here when he suddenly started refusing to eat or drink. Dr. Widman was able to see Fluffy soon after the clinic opened, and was incredibly compassionate. It turned out that Fluffy was in the final stages of kidney disease and failure, and unfortunately there was nothing that we could do for him. Throughout this sad day, Dr. Widman and Tara were wonderful. They explained all of Fluffy's test results and they were so supportive. They made a horrible, totally unexpected day bearable. I'm truly glad we brought Fluffy here. We will be bringing any and all other cats here as long as we can. read more

I started going to Cambridge cat clinic shortly after they opened and have only good things to say about the practice. They have taken excellent care of my two cats and are a local business I feel good about supporting. read more

I just want to update my review to say that my recommendation has only increased in the time I've been going to this vet. They provide top-notch care and are all-around lovely humans and cat lovers. My cat had some sudden and scary health issues and they provided amazing care and support as we dealt with it (and he's doing great, thanks to them). This is through the COVID scare, so I am extra appreciative that they have remained open and available for these issues. I do not have enough good things to say about this practice - highly recommend it! read more

Great clinic that has been amazing for my 15 year old Calico! She is a difficult animal for most vets but they have done a terrific job of caring for her here. They are the ONLY vet I have visited who have been able to give her claws a trim. Lab results come back quickly, the office is clean, and the entire staff is great with the animals. The vets do a nice job of explaining issues and giving clear directions on how to provide care in response. Highly recommended for anyone with a cat of any temperament, but even more so for those with animals who can be difficult at the vet! read more

My cat had his first visit today at Cambridge Cat Clinic. After researching many options in the Boston area I decided to go with this clinic. Dr. Levine was so great with my cat. She was extremely nice and did not rush at all. She made sure my cat was comfortable and relaxed throughout the whole appointment. She answered all my questions and truly listened to my concerns. I recommend this clinic to anyone looking for a great vet! read more

I was looking for a new vet for various reasons and I was thrilled to find Cambridge Cat Clinic. They looked at my cat's records from the prior vet and immediately identified something the old vet completely missed. Both vets are the cat whisperer types where you are mystified as your cat is cooperative at the vet. This is the first time I've really felt 100% good about a vet that I've taken my cats to and they are no more expensive than other vets in the area, so you might as well get what you're paying for! read more

I took my cat here for the first time for a check-up, and I was very impressed! The staff and vet were so professional and nice. My cat has some behavioral problems, and they handled him so well!
