We recently worked with Gina for our 180-person wedding on 5/21/22. From start to finish, Gina was super responsive, helpful, and professional. We told her that we wanted dessert that would be easy for our guests to grab and go as we knew they would be on the dance floor all night! She suggested items and provided a beautiful tasting box. I have to say they are very nice and their cupcakes are so good, but the cakes not so much. I had a cake ordered and it cost about $90 It was beautiful but did not taste good at all. Everyone said it had a minty flavor and super sweet. We ended up not eating it and it went to the trash. I felt bad because it was so pretty, but the flavor was not good at all. Great cupcakes with a wide assortment of flavors to choose from. Good location with a lot of parking, service inside was great. Cupcakes have a homemade feel and taste to them. They are decorated nicely and packaged well for the ride home. Personally, I like the chocolate, banana and their new root beer flavor - which is very unique. This is a cool place to come and sit while eating a cupcake. I don't bake but have a sweet tooth and now know where to get one after the gym. Located in the 24hr parking lot I purchased the Groupon and picked up 6. They didn't have the cookie batter which is why I wanted to try them but the lemon cake was moist and delicious. Their cookies are to DIE for, and my husband continues to request that I get an order of the chocolate crumble cookies even to this day! We came on a Saturday night about an hour before closing time. As we walked up I noticed there was not much to choose from. The one female employee was helping a customer before us and one of the younger males came from the back and just kinda stood staring at us. I asked if we are to select any cupcakes for the half dozen and his response was "this is all we have". Well that answered that. We ended up with a red velvet, lemon, yellow cake with chocolate frosting, and peanut butter jelly. I immediately loved the lemon cupcake. I'm not a lemon flavor person but as I have gotten older its grown on me. A sweet lemon drop candy is on top which I also enjoyed. The yellow cake with chcolate frosting is something I could make at home. The red velvet was good with the added chcolate chips but I feel could have been a tad better. Peanut butter and jelly really tastes like a pb and j so if you like that get it. I was disappointed we were not able to try more signature items. I will try and go back during the day to ensure they have more cupcakes as it looks like they sell fast. It was clean and modern inside so I kept this as a 4 star but overall my experience was just okay. I just wish Camarillo in general had better hospitality/ businesses. read more

These cupcakes are amazing!!! My favorite two are the red velvet and the strawberry Prosecco. The cupcakes are so so fluffy and not dry at all. They have the perfect mix of sweetness to where it's not overpowering. The red velvet had chocolate chip pieces in it which was an amazing surprise when I bit into it. Mixed reviews for me. The first time I visited back in December my husband & I each chose a cupcake and they were so good! Today (Sunday)my friend wanted dessert & I told her I know a good cupcake place. It was 5:00pm, I didn't know if they would be open at that time on a Sunday. I figured if not we would go to Trader Joe's. I was happily surprised they were open! We ordered 3 to go. We chose a lemon, chocolate with chocolate icing & chocolate with vanilla icing. We got home made some coffee to go with our cupcakes, we sat down and..... both of the chocolate ones were dry! I was so disappointed. My friend had a craving for something sweet and it was dry! My husband had the lemon and it was fine! I understand it was late in the day, but if you know your cupcakes have been sitting out and maybe dried out. 1) you should inform your customers 2) maybe put them in a separate area and offer a discount. If I'm paying $3.50 per cupcake I expect it to be good & moist. Some people don't mind a discounted older item. But when you pay full price you expect a fresh item. Unfortunately, my friend won't go back, as that was her first impression. I don't know if I will return unless they offer something for me to return for. The last two times I have gone the owner herself was there, and I have to say I have never experienced such terrible and rude customer service. She is so terribly unfriendly and super rude that I would never recommend anyone I know to go there.... Amazing! I love their cupcakes so I thought it would be fun to order one of their letter cakes for my sons birthday dinner. I ordered chocolate peanut butter and they nailed it! The peanut butter flavor was perfect! They decorated it with rolo's, Reese's cups, macaroons, wafer cookies, Hersey bars, Kit Kat bars. Zoom in on the details of the picture. When you walk into this shop the first thing to hit you is the wonderful smell. Not of baked goods surprisingly, but whatever deodorizer it is, is really great smelling. It's very clean, there are plenty of tables if you want to enjoy your treat there. The display is excellent. The cupcakes are delicious. I was surprised and disappointed to find that a couple of them had filling in the middle until I tasted the filling. Yum (although I'd prefer no filling). Every cupcake I've had has been very tasty. I bought a lemon cupcake and here is what I thought. It was just alright! You know, the same sheet cake taste you coworker would have made night before in a hurry. The cupcake did not have reasonable cake density and the cream was runny. The price was high and the customer service was low. I also noticed how small the cupcake was. It was more like a mini cupcake. It would have been okay if it did not cost $3.50. And the tip jar to make you feel guilty for not tipping them for bad service. I really don't understand a tip jar. I showed up 5 minutes after opening on their third day of being open, and saw the last lemon and cookies and cream cupcakes being purchased. The white chocolate raspberry cupcakes weren't ready yet, and they didn't have the salted Carmel cupcakes either. I was a bit bummed that I made a point to show right up after opening to avoid them being sold out and they didn't have any of the cupcake flavors I planned on purchasing. I settled on red velvet for my daughter and I, a peanut butter one for my mom, along with a vanilla one for my youngest. The cupcakes seem a bit smaller then other places, but they were delicious. I knew pulling back the cupcake wrapper I was going to hate it. I pinched the cupcake and it didn't move. You know when you squeeze a fluffy moist cupcake and it bounces back well these didn't! There hasn't been a cupcake bakery I've really loved in years, but I absolutely LOVE this place! Their gluten free chocolate cupcakes are delicious, and if I call in advance they'll always top their gf flavor with whichever frostings they have that day. Other than that, the cupcakes look super cute and very sweet/ heavy in flavor. The cupcakes aren't dry and the frosting is plentiful (a little too much for me).
