This is a long review, but after speaking to multiple people about it I had to share this. I bought an 05 sequoia from Camacho auto sales paying $3000 in cash and trading my truck in for an agreed upon $3000, which equals $6000 cash towards the sequoia which was $11500 after taxes. Took the car on a test drive, seemed to run good, so I bought it. Before signing the paperwork Aaron shook my hand and told me "if the sequoia didn't pass smog for some reason he would take the deal back" well after driving it home to Reno the next day the vsc trac light comes on, the check engine light comes on and it fails smog. So I tell him and he has me bring it back up to fix it. I did, then again the next day the check engine light and vsc track light comes back on, I go to make sure that it was really fixed and go to get it smogged again, fails.. in Reno, Washoe county you have to have a car that passes smog and if you're in a county in Nevada that doesn't require smog and you sell a car that doesn't pass smog to a washoe county or Clark county resident that's illegal. Stuff happens and in my opinion he was just shutting the check engine light off with a tool or unplugging the battery (that clears codes and gets the check engine light to turn off for a few hundred miles). Because why else would it fail smog and have the check engine light come back on after he had it "fixed"? So I decide whatever, take my loss in time and return the sequoia and get my truck and my $3k back... no biggie he tried I guess. What happens next is crazy. I explain to him that it's failed smog multiple times and that we need to null the deal, that he told me he would if it were to fail smog. He says no, he will give me my $3k in cash that I put towards the sequoia back and that I'm basically out a truck! He ended up paying me $2k for my truck instead of the $3k we agreed upon after offering to only give me $3k back for my cash deposit and re sell my truck to me for $3500! He was trying to take my truck without paying me for it, turned off the check engine light multiple times (in the opinion of the guy where I had it smogged) on the sequoia and then tried to make me feel like I did something wrong. So my truck was a clean title 2000 f150 extended cab with new mud tires, leveling kit, 156k actual miles, 4x4, aftermarket Bluetooth stereo, ac recently fixed and drove like it was brand new, strong transmission and engine, oil change every 5k miles. Had a few small dings and scratches, needed a bulb changed in the front dash and that's it. The kbb on it was $6500 and I could've easily gotten $4k for it, had buddy's tell me "I would've given you $4500 for your truck". He acted like it was worthless. I'm sure he sold it for $6k plus. This isn't about that though, it's the fact at he had the audacity to try and sell my truck track to me without paying me anything for it, go back on his word and shut the check engine light off multiple times. Also I tried posting this on Google multiple times and doesn't show for some reason.. hmmm read more
