I do not recommend this dentists…read more I went to the dentist for about a year and everything was going smooth until there was a discrepancy between what they charged me and what I was supposed to pay under my insurance. Very quickly, they started calling to cancel my appointments until eventually I came in one time and they said sorry you've missed too many appointments and we don't want to accept you anymore as a patient. They had entirely faked all the paperwork, giving me calls and then on paper making it seem like I didn't show up. They seem to be upset that they accept certain insurances and don't wanna pay out on it. Cheap and immoral.

Dentist tells you in advance what insurance will cover, kinda. Got a great tooth cleaning. Repaired a tooth with excellent results. Bad: got a bill from Clovis Crossing then got a check from my insurance so I had to make another visit to give CC my insurance check. Got several calls from CC (and I keep getting them) asking to pay my bill. I never had to physically pay a bill with my previous dentist. Dentist recommended treatments that were over $100. I felt like it was a scare tactic. I didn't feel those recommendations were necessary. Hygienist numbed my whole mouth for the cleaning. Never had that done before. I was desperate to get my tooth repaired so my co-worker recommended CC. I'll probably do one more cleaning then look for another dentist.

When he retired, I went to Dr. Malan again... The father of this Dr. Malan. And when he retired... I guess you have figured it out by now. :) I have found that everyone here, from the people in the front office, through the wonderful hygienist, to Dr. Malan himself, have been extremely kind, helpful, caring, and all-around great folks. I've always felt good about coming here, and I'm one of those people that, well, is not a good dental patient. Let's just leave it at that. :-) A couple of times, when I've had a bit of a dental emergency, they have bent over backwards to help me get my problem taken care of. I really really appreciate that. I know a lot of people that love their dentist, and wouldn't consider going any place else. I get that... That's how I feel about this, Dr. Malan. He was incredibly thorough, gentle, and patient throughout the entire process. His kindness and empathy made me feel so comfortable, especially at a time when I was really overwhelmed. He explained everything clearly, made sure I felt safe at every step, and the quality of his work is unreal - he did an amazing job. I'm so grateful to have found him. They got me all the paperwork I needed as a new patient and informed me that they would be able to get me in to see the dentist today. I had been fighting an issue with a toothache for 4 days which was causing me extreme headaches. My fear was that I was going to need to have that tooth pulled and they weren't going to be able to help me today. I was able to get in to see the dentist get an X-ray of problem tooth and have the tooth extracted. I was so relived that they were able to fit me in. Everyone I interacted with was so nice and listened to my concerns. I am extremely pleased with my visit and I already have another appointment set to come back in. She was told she needed a root canal and a new bridge. The first red flag should have been the office not returning our calls regarding the AARP Delta Dental insurance price vs the higher costs quotes not covered by our insurance.When confronted about this Dr Sood said they DO NOT provide the service benefit listed by AARP Delta Dental Insurance. This sounds like bait and switch. I filed a grievance with AARP Delta Dental against Clovis Crossing dental. Paul Ansley did her root canal. He became agitated when my wife declined nitrous oxide. He began cussing and throwing instruments around and loudly questioned why my wife couldn't open her mouth wider and shouted at the tech to get a block. He turn my wife's neck forcefully causing pain to her disabled neck and back. Dr Sood whom we have been dealing with, claims he is not responsible for his specialist Paul Ansley's unprofessional conduct and his lack of ADA protocols. He said Paul Ansley is a contracted employee. Yet Dr Sood is listed as the owner of the dental practice and Paul Ansley's name appears on the door of Clovis Crossing Dental. Dr Sood denies he did anything wrong and claims if he were to give us a discount for not offering AARP Delta Dental pricing it would be admitting guilt Dr Sood also said he worked for a Corporation and DID NOT make the decisions. Funny the Corporation is Kunal Sood Dental Corporation. Please listen to our story. Consumers consider truth, professionalism, honesty, integrity, dignity and yelp when choosing a dental group.
