I had prior work done, I've seen the full mouth x rays before, but they charged me to take more. Not only is a system failure concerning, but to charge me for their mistake & "comfort" me by assuring me my insurance covered most of it is unacceptable. The hygienist asked me where I wanted to start on the next visit since I require multiple things. I said I'm unsure, let's ask the dentist. The dentist looked for 7 seconds (without gloves.) and he confirmed we should start on the crown. The crown he wanted to replace was on the wrong side and it was a crown their office just did not long ago. All very concerning to say the least. Will not go back.

He explained everything clearly, made sure I felt safe at every step, and the quality of his work is unreal - he did an amazing job. I'm so grateful to have found him. During recent appointments, Dr. Ben frequently moves from room to room, while dental assistants are coming in and out of the rooms and calling out to each other about which rooms are ready. This creates a hectic and distracting environment and makes it difficult to feel that we are receiving individualized attention. We understand that dental offices can be busy, but we would appreciate a more organized and personal experience during our appointments. When Dr. Mark Takeda (the son) recommended Invisalign, I trusted his advice and eventually decided to move forward. Unfortunately, that turned out to be a mistake. My Invisalign results were disappointing--my teeth never became fully straight--and when I brought this up, he was defensive and dismissive rather than receptive. What's worse, my final interaction with Dr. Mark Takeda (the son) was shockingly unprofessional. He became visibly agitated, raised his voice, and even pointed at me in a confrontational manner. I have never been treated with such disrespect by a healthcare professional in my life. His behavior was rude, aggressive, and completely out of line. When was the last time your dentist sent you a check?…read more A friend recommended Dr. ROCI0 and I've had three visits with her over the last couple of months. The first time we met she actually sat down next to me for 10 minutes and went over all my x-rays, explaining tooth by tooth what was going on and what her recommendations were. I've never had a dentist do that. I've never had a physician take that much time, either. As a nurse, this is the model that I try to follow: take time to get eyeball to eyeball with your patient and find out what's on their mind and then figure out what you need to do to help. But time constraints are real. Sometimes as a patient you feel like you're on a conveyor belt and the healthcare provider is trying to see is many a day as possible. Apparently this office has a different philosophy. Everybody I've met with from the front desk to the hygienists to the dentist yourself has been a model of cordiality and professionalism. On top of which, Dr. Rocio's chair-side manner is sensitive and caring. I actually dozed off while she was working. And then today they sent me a check for $51.00. I had to call them up and ask them what was going on. I have never seen any physician or dentist who did something like this. Apparently my insurance company paid more than they needed to so they're refunding the difference to me. Heck of a business model: Instead of a surprise bill you get a surprise refund.

Then over a month later I received a bill in the mail for a deductible. Called about it and they couldn't figure it out. Said they would have their manager call as she was out on vacation. she never called so I called again 2 months later, they apologized and said she would call me back within 48 hours which she didn't. Just kept getting bills in the mail every few months. My favorite dentist and hygienist both left before this ordeal. Needless to say I will not be a patient anymore for Kellogg and Grant.
