Buyer recommended this spot as a 1/2way point to do our Ppt. I drove over an hour and we got in one hour before store closing. Tim and Eddie were more than Happy to do our private transfer. Unlike other shops that frown upon it because they are taking time and not making money, saying their safes are full , they only do it certain days or you need an appointment for it, yada , yada. I visited the store to see if they had any collector's handguns, which they did not. I was able to find a Luger at the Shooter's Exchange in So. Carolina. The pistol needed to be transferred to a dealer in California. I went in and talked with a guy, who told me no problem, and quoted the fee. The guy in South Carolina called up, needing a copy of Called2Arms license. The fellow became very belligerent, and then said he would refuse acceptance. So now you want to get involved....usually the only way people who come into that store to talk to you is through your employees while you sit in the back and have them be the messenger even when they've asked to talk to you directly. Your rebuttal couldn't be more false. Never was anything ever onlayway. I paid for the gun after I traded in an LC9, you guys told me you usually don't take payment until the gun is in and I start my 10 days, but the trade was for more than half so your employee said ok. You didn't have the shield yet, you guys called when a shield finally came in and thats when I informed you I didn't want it anymore and you guys said NO PROBLEM. Again, NEVER TOLD ME I HAVE A CERTAIN AMOUNT OF TIME TO USE STORE CREDIT. Every store policy is different, and you guys never once called me to tell me my store credit was going to go away soon. Called me 7 times? You called me 3 times, and two of those times were to ask me if I still wanted the M&P AFTER I had already told you I didn't want it. The last voicemail I still have is from April 30, 2019. That was the last call, nothing about store credit. Never heard anything about a restocking fee either, even though I'm sure their was going to be one which is understandable, but that conversation never happened. It's funny how you say that you were unable to verify any of this because the employee I dealt with no longer works there, but you have all these dates and times and missed calls stored in your system. Even your employee told me it shows I never even started my 10 day, so how can I receive a firearm without my 10 day background check. I have no recollection of going in your store in march of 18. I went in in September of 18 to talk about the Ruger and make a deal, but like I said, you negotiate through your employees so a deal wasn't made. Then, I think I caved in either January or February of 19, but of course your computer system doesn't show that. And now you want to play the nice guy after all this and say that you were going to work with me, haha, good one Mr. Smith. You had every opportunity to get on that phone as I was arguing with your employee for 10 minutes and he kept saying I understand your frustration but I talked to the owner(you apparently) and he will do nothing about it, and I was on hold for another 10 minutes while he was talking to you. If you were going to work with me you could have gotten on the phone when I asked for you. I wasn't going to drive 45 minutes for you tell me sorry, nothing I can do. My entitlement? I do think I'm entitled to my $450. Last time I checked $450 today is still at the same dollar value as even 2 years ago. Purchased my first gun here. Went to several places around the bay. Since I moved to the valley and Toyota dealership was nearby cause my car needed its 3k oil change. Why not stop by. The friendly staff help with every question a newb would ask. They let me feel all type of hand guns and ARs. After couple of hours browsing and finally decided to pick up a Glock17. My wife and I went here labor day just to browse; i was hoping she saw a gun she wanted as her birthday was approaching. The owner Jerry was there and he politely showed us many different guns they had in stock and was very knowledgable and friendly about all of my questions as i do not have a lot of gun experience. I was looking for a certain firearm and even though Brass Pro would put it on sale once in a while it was still $40 less at Called 2 Arms with the regular price! Once again, this shop came through for me, I've now purchased two guns here and will never go anywhere else... I had a bad experience with another store (Rep told me gun would come in two weeks to month. Went in two weeks later and a different rep told me they still have people waiting since January). Got my refund, kept up-to-date with Called2Arms social media (they let you know there when they have inventory.) and finally made it to purchase my second gun when they had it in stock. All three guys are very knowledgeable and they tell how you it is. You can't blame any store for not having inventory, especially with what's going on right now in the world. These guys tell you straight up how it is, tell you to check out their social media and wait for inventory. If you have any questions, *all three of the guys are super helpful*. I really had high hopes for this place. I hardly ever write anything negative about a business, however this was a highly disappointing experience. I came into this store based off of a buddy of mine mentioned they had a gun in stock I was looking for. When I walked in the first thing I noticed was a Glock that was cerakoted coyote tan and I immediately wanted to get one of my glocks done. I asked to see the display gun and they said this was just a display showing the coating they can do. I said great can I take a look at it because I would like to get it done to one of mine. The response from the the guy was "well it's expensive".... I was wearing my biker leather as I stopped in on my bike. I don't know maybe I looked like I didn't have any money or something... Regardless of how I looked the way they said it was very disrespectful. I am the type of person that shows respect to anyone I meet until they don't show me the same courtesy. I immediately said thank you never mind and started to walk out. Another man who I believe was the owner may have heard the conversation and came out of the back room, tried to get my attention, and tried to stop me from leaving by asking me if he could help me instead. I responded and said no thank you maybe another time. Well if the owner ever reads this I really hope he has a conversation with his employees about customer service. I am in the market for a few guns I know they have in stock and maybe some day I will give them another chance... Just disappointing and I hope it was an isolated incident. I had been looking to purchase my first semi-auto handgun, and they were always willing to assist me in my research.
