California Pizza Kitchen is a Pizza house that started in 1985! Every time I visit CPK, flash memories of Cheesecake Factory, and Beef Steak Charlie's flooded my brain. There are two local CPKs in our area. One in Naples and one in Coconut Points. This CPK appeared to be well managed. The vibe is simple, clean tables, good service and your favorite toppings on your pizza in a comfortable environment! They have a special deal for Valentine's Day with lettuce wrap, salad, pizza, pasta and dessert but we opted out because it was too much food for our need. Wife ordered a Margherita and I opted for their signature BBQ Chicken Pizza. She loves her pie with tomatoes, basil and cheese in a crispy thin crust. For me, BBQ Chicken tasted just like long ago! The flavor combination of sweet BBQ sauce, chicken, onions and Gouda cheese is very additive! Some time, I went over the hill and added a smoky bacon but tonight is the original BBQ Chicken Pizza! No beer or cocktail but just Strawberry Mango cooler! Tonight, we did not order dessert but took a stroll to Sospiri for Gelato! It is really a 4 1/2 star! Will upgrade after a few more visits! read more

I went to this particular CPK because I was shopping at Coconut Point and wanted something healthy to eat. I was greeted when I came in and seated right away. My server Kyle took my drink order right away. I already did research ahead of time so I knew what I wanted to order which was their Salmon which was a 12 out of 10 stars, I ordered with it a side of broccolini which was delicious too. I decided to order a dessert which was their cinnamon cake with ice cream on top and whipped cream on the side. It was delicious as well. Overly, I highly recommend CPK and I will be back. Oh, their ambiance was simple but nice. I liked the surf board on one of their walls. read more

Probably the rudest manager and staff. Like yikes. And pizza is rock hard. Not sure where these people got their training but not like any other CPK I go to. read more

Saturday afternoon, restaurant 1/4 full, not busy. Stood at hostess booth for 3 minutes, was seated and asked for a high chair. Stood there for 5 minutes holding a toddler, chair never showed up, so I walked around and found one. Seated toddler and waited an additional 7 minutes, no waiter ever showed up. Was seated total of 12-13 minutes with no waiter. Ended up just walking out and went to Olive Garden. read more

The good and service were both excellent! Our server Ava suggested we try the cucumber cooler and strawberry breeze drinks which were a perfect way to start the meal along with the avocado and white corn dip. Deeelish! For pizza we got the tried and true CPK original bbq chicken pizza. We also got the Sicilian and Burrata with spicy pepperoni. All three were excellent! Can't wait to come back! read more

I Ordered a pizza with everything on it and thin crust. It Was terrible. Toppings were clumped together. Black olives were in a clump on 1 piece and there were only a few pieces of sausage. There was a teaspoon of oregano on another piece. There had to be less than 1/4 c of cheese on the whole pizza. I'm not sure there was any pizza sauce. It was very dry without sauce and cheese. Part of the crust was burnt and the pizza was cold. This Was by far the worst pizza I've ever had. So disappointing! read more

I will never go here again. I ordered a gf bbq chicken pizza and street corn dip with tortillas (extra charge bc I can't eat bread). The dip can feed a small mouse and the pizza is ridiculously small. My total came to $32 and I waited 40 minutes. I never leave negative reviews, but this was a joke. read more

This is my second time coming here for takeout in the Estero location. I'm sitting in the same seat as my father we both ordered appetizers. We've been sitting here for over a half hour nobody over again not for a drink refil or anything not even to say it will be rite out this is the second time I have come to this filthy place with terrible, terrible service and people that don't care either way I'll never come back again read more

DH jokes that the only time he visits CPK is when we are in Florida -- even though we live in California. And that's true. CPK at Coconut Point is convenient to Coconut Plantation where we stay each December. So we usually stop by CPK at least once during our visit. During our most recent visit, we were happy to find outside seating available as there were no masks inside. Not that I expect customers to be wearing masks, but it would be nice to have seen staff wearing them. I started my meal with a refreshing mojito. My entree was a Caesar salad with an add-on of shrimp. One thing I like about CPK is the choice of half or full-size salad. The former is typically enough for me. DH also had a salad -- the Thai Crunch and he was quite pleased with it. Both salads were good. Glad we stopped by! read more

CPK is one of my fiancee's favorite pizza places as they had a duck and a Greek pizza. But like everything times change and so did the menu. CPK has updated the menu to new items. We started with the Szechuan Chicken Dumplings that had kick. As we walked in we saw several people enjoying a salad, so I wanted to try one. Our choice was the Italian Chopped. It is all shaved thin and hand tossed in the homemade mustard herb vinaigrette dressing and enjoying with the warm bread. Now onto the great pizza our selection was the Carne Asada Pizza loaded with tender marinated steak with fire roasted poblanos peppers. Served with a side of salsa verde. The crust was done just right. Our servers were attentive at all times. read more

This chain is not as good as it used to be in my opinion. Our service was good but the menu options have changed and some of the dishes I used to enjoy are no long on the menu. The half sized salad I ordered was good and plenty, the wine prices are a bit high, but overall it's good. Just not sure they have anything that I am dying to go back for. read more

2 stars because the "host" sat us at a disgusting table when there were other less gross tables and our waitress lied to us. The building and furniture is in need of a refresh. It's not dilapidated but it's noticeably dirty and in disrepair. For example, the seats we were sat at had HUGE holes in them, yikes! I would never sat someone there, bad move by the host esp when there was other booths available. There is indoor and outdoor seating available. Noise levels were good for conversation and it wasn't very crowded for a Saturday night. We got our food in good time. What We Ordered: -Complimentary bread: 6/10 sourdough and olive oil. Olive oil wasn't the highest quality and was oddly spicy, but the bread was yummy and warm -Cucumber Refresher: 4/10 tastes like if La Croix made a non-alcoholic mojito. Not sweet at all, chunky, badly muddled mint, but slightly refreshing. Based on this drink I wouldn't order a cocktail here or any beverage that requires ingredient assemblage. -Crispy Artichoke Salad: 4/10 On the menu description it says it's comes with whipped feta, but at the restaurant they said you have to pay extra. Weird, stingy and nonsensical. I re-checked the menu and it definitely comes with goat cheese and when the plate arrived it had no cheese. They lied and said the reason it didn't come with cheese is because it is extra and is charged as extra. Our waitress ultimately didn't charge us but they should have just owned up to the kitchens mistake rather than lie. ASIDE FROM THE LYING... All the salad dressing was on the bottom. It's a good salad but terribly made. If I were to order it again I would ask for just regular artichokes, not fried because fried the texture was plastic-like and the flavor was diminished. The salad dressing I eventually did find was tasty. I didn't see any expired greens used. -BBQ Chicken Pizza: 6/10 Love the crust! Onions were stringy and difficult to eat because of how they were cooked. The sauce is good but we had to order extra sauce. Based on the questionable behavior by the staff and very meh food, we won't come back . The person acting as host sat us at the worst table and we were super nice to him. That was the biggest ick. I think he was some kind of manager based on how he was passive aggressively lecturing the staff. read more

This is review is for two kids meals to-go and it was a bit mediocre and bland across the board. The kids did not find the meals appealing and we didn't get any Parmesan cheese to jazz this up. Pasta marinara could have used more sauce - it's dry. The chicken tastes a bit burnt and dry. Veggies were okay. read more

Food was standard, formulaic and what you expect from a large chain. Well prepared food serfed hot. Service was fair to start with minimal attention for the needs of the table, and got all the way to decent just before the check was delivered. Nothing really wrong from a food and flavor standpoint, I just realize that I am less of a fan of chain dining as I age. I woukd have given it a 4th star years ago. My disolution is not with the food, just the lack of creativity that chains provide. read more

CPK is not a restaurant I would normally visit, but i did this evening as it was someone else's choice. The pizza was surprisingly better than I have had in the past. My daughter and me split the Sicilian pizza. My wife enjoyed hers we well, but my son didn't end up eating his spaghetti (which they removed from the bill). Service was great- Anthony was attentive and took really good care of us! For those who are COVID concerned they do not enforce their mask required in the lobby policy. read more

My hubby and I enjoy Coconut Point Mall. It has all type of stores and places to eat. We were hungry and since it was New Year's Eve, we thought to enjoy dinner out. We have enjoyed California Pizza Kitchen in Ohio and this Florida location did not disappoint. Their half sized portion of salad is really big! We both split a half size classic Caesar salad along with their pizza that we ordered. Their pizza was fresh Pepperoni. Very delicious. It comes with six slices. We decided to get dessert. Their Red Velvet cake. It was delicious. Prices were slightly high but it was a nice treat for New Year's Eve. read more

Although it was very busy since the season has arrived. With no reservations we had to wait for a table perhaps 10 minutes. Our server was very pleasant and didn't rush at all. All three of us had the 7 inch lunch pizza with a side salad that was a good size and tasty. All were pleased with our pizza's and it was a good size for one. Lunch prices were very reasonable with all our checks including cocktails in the upper $20's. read more

My favorite place to eat in Coconut Point! The salmon plate is actually my favorite! Better than a meal at Ruth Chris!!! But I love many of the items on the menu. I usually order the salmon caesar salad but the cobb salad is excellent too. And any of the pizzas are great with truffle oil on the crust :D~ The management are top notch and the employees are super friendly and on the spot. And the key lime pie is delicious!!! Better than Tommy Bahamas! Yum! read more

This is really 3-1/2 Stars. My wife really likes this place. She's a big fan of the Waldorf Chicken Salad. (thus the extra 1/2 Star). They have a pretty decent selection of good salads. Me, I'm in search of a Pizza Place that gives me that "Bertuccis" pizza. Bertuccis is a resturant (I think its a small chain) up in the Northeast. My favorite pizza was the Sporkie. So I attempted to create one here at CPK. I had the "Sicilian" but instead of "Thin Crust", I asked for Traditional Crust. They said "No Problem". Unfortunately, the kitchen didn't listen and I got Thin Crust. They did make good on the order though, and they brought me a new pizza. So I got 2 pizzas! No I didn't eat both. Box city. But I have to say I did like the Sicilian. Maybe I have found a replacement. Service was good. No Guinness.......booooooo. Had a Sangreia Sampler. That was okay. I'll be back. read more

Interesting Menu! Wonderful waitress, Melissa, at the counter. Food prepared perfectly. Ordered a 'take and bake' Mushroom Pizza, which we both thoroughly enjoyed. Came on a weekday before dinner rush. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by our server, he sat us to the table and ordered our drinks. Everything went smoothly from start to finish! Also, if you eat in and I believe order $15 or more you can purchase a take home pizza for $5! Any kind! Definitely took advantage of that and took home two pizzas! I ordered the spicy honey and yes it was spicy and sweet! The other person I was with ordered the bolognese pasta with wild mushroom pizza! All were a delight and we left satisfied! read more

I am a huge fan of CPK. We have been to this location many times in prior years. The shopping center is terrific with many stores to visit if you need to wait for a table. Service is great, menu is the standard CPK menu. The servers are willing to customize meals for guests. Our latest visit was during covid, a few times and take out once. Servers and staff are very attentive to covid policies, distancing, sanitizing etc. I hope this place survives the pandemic! Food was great as usual. read more

Had a nice Friday evening with the wife and daughter enjoying dinner at one of our favorite place to eat. The food that comes out of the kitchen at Coconut Point ,Estero FL is very fresh each time we've visited plus they have a nice selection of beer and wine offerings. The servers are well trained, knowledgeable and friendly which is a good sign they have good management. I love the open pizza kitchen concept that allows you to see what they're doing at all times and the ambience has a warm feel. Great place for a date night or big family outing. The menu is big and they have a nice kids menu. My daughter thinks the kids pizza is perfect! I had the Steak Salad served over chopped lettuce & arugula, Nueske's applewood smoked bacon, jicama, red cabbage, charred red onion petals, tomatoes and Gorgonzola tossed in bleu cheese dressing. This dish was so flavorful and light , the steak was cooked nicely and the bacon and blue cheese really shined. Finished it off with a melt in your mouth Butter Cake served with a scoop of ice cream. The wife enjoyed the appetizer wedge salad but could've done without the eggs. She then had HER favorite dish, Chicken Piccata served in a lemon butter sauce. We love coming here as the food is excellent ,consistent and fresh tasting with great service! I fell in love with CPK in college. Unfortunately I don't have any by me now, but I travelled to Estero and visited this one. Their cauliflower crust pizza is scrumptious...can't tell the difference! We love a good pizza and it had been a long time since we had visited a CPK. While at the mall, we decided to stop for an early dinner. The restaurant is very nice, clean and inviting. There were plenty of servers getting ready for the dinner crowd but the restaurant was pretty empty when we arrived. We had no wait to be seated or for our order to be taken. We ordered a couple ice teas and an Hawaiian pizza with a thin crust. The pizza was good but the ingredients were very sparse. There were hardly no scallions, very little pineapple and the ham pieces were few and far between. Obviously, CPK is not the place to order a pizza. We've had much, much better almost every place else. Considering the size of the pizza and the ingredients, it was pretty expensive for what we got. Service was ok. I received a refill on my tea but my husband never did. This place does serve a lot more than pizza and that's probably what we should have ordered. read more

Delicious. I mentioned on a review of Pizza 2000 in left Myers fl that gourmet and pizza doesn't go together, I was wrong obviously. It depends on who does gourmet and CPK has it. The only issue was the presentation of the salad and our run of the mill get your food and pay me college student with no personality but I owe it to the fact that they were almost at capacity. If I had a pen for the place it would be like this: Oh CPK, you had me at pizza, not at hello. The waitress was a mess But the food was not so so. I enjoyed the bite so much That I took it home and ate the last slice The same night :-) 10/21 edit Tonight's stunk soo badly. I don't know what happened but the pizza was bad. Hadn't been in a while, but was excited to go again with my younger siblings. We waited for 20 minutes at our table without being greeted and had to walk out.
