I wish I could give zero stars. Ordered ahead this morning, was told when we called to see if we could pick up early for 5:45 PM, and was told that it would be only available at 5:45 which is not unreasonable. Arrived at 5:50 PM, and was informed they had not even started on the food and they may not be ready until about 6:30. Meanwhile, individuals arriving to pick up DoorDash orders were receiving their orders faster. Request to cancel the order, was told that the manager would look into it tonight, without any confirmation that it would actually occur. Save your time and money and go to a place actually respects customers. read more

The only good thing here was the pizza. The spinach and artichoke dip was very cold in the middle. I didn't send it back since I already sent back my draft Michelob Ultra that was just flat ( switched it out for bottle, which tasted as it should). They also figured out after another customer complained about the tap, that the tap was bad. A second customer also sent back their spinach artichoke dip for the same complaint. The wings were disgusting, basically store bought as if they'd been sitting out for days. Thankfully the pizza was solid. I will not be coming back again to dine in. This is a take out pizza only option for me with coupons and discounts. Our bartender was nice despite all the customer complaints and a busy trivia crowd. read more

We ordered a pizza and wings, on Daniels, in Ft Myers, which we picked up. The pizza was good, but the wings were as hard as rocks. You literally could not even bite into one. If I were in the restaurant, I would have sent them back, but we live in Gateway, and were not about to go all the way back down Daniels with that traffic to return the wings. How the person who made them and put them in the to go box allowed them to leave the restaurant like that should be fired. I have not yelped in quite some time this place is THAT GOOD it took me out of yelp hiatus. I went for a late lunch and sat at a table near the back bar and let me tell you from the time you are greeted at the door, seated, and leave the customer service is exceptional. Perfect balance of helpful knowledgeable attentive without being smothering. The ambiance is perfection loud enough to provide privacy but not too loud where you can't hear or are over stimulated. As a New Yorker and self a jointed pizza snub my guy for Floridians they make a mean pie (hand tossed- I plan on trying flat next time but legit it was like a cheesy well seasoned breadstick at the end. The pizza is always great! Service can be a little slow at times, even when the restaurant does not seem that busy, but it's worth the wait.

It's always a fun atmosphere to come here. My hubby and I always enjoy the good food. Our server was good. This time my hubby and I shared a cheese and pepperoni calzone along with splitting a regular size house salad with their dressing similar to creamy Italian dressing. So very delicious. I finally made it to the Mellow Mushroom. On a quick trip to Fort Myers, I popped in for lunch. I started with a mini Caesar salad and it was fresh and delish. I was greeted warmly by the bartender as soon as I arrived and sat at the bar. I started with a Sprite and then ordered a small margarita pizza. Everything was absolutely delicious! The bartender was super friendly and attentive, regularly checking in to make sure everything was good and asking if I needed anything else. Really cute spot and overall my table enjoyed the pizzas they got. However i can't have dairy so had to get the vegan cheese . I got the build my own with the vegan cheese and topped it with mushrooms, green pepper and chicken. Needless to say, nothing had flavor. The chicken they brag about "tasting so well" that the count it as two toppings was far from tasteful. The order was also wrong, and this is a digital order for a single make your own calzone- they put regular tomatoes instead of sundried tomatoes on it and I asked for no ricotta and there was ricotta. Our waitress was really sweet and attentive which made up for how unknowable she was. The flavor of everything was on point! My daughter has the Great White was absolutely awesome! I had a supreme vegan pizza with gluten free crust. It was good. The gluten free crust was a little grainy in aftertaste but some of that comes with the gluten free life so on that note, it was good. They use Daiya vegan cheese and they k is how to prepare it well, so it taste really good My parter had the steak and cheese hoagie and said it was "Outstanding!" just spent $132. my wife requested a margarita with a double shot. We were told that for that drink, they can't do 2 shots, but for normal drinks, they can. Kennedy, the manager (Ft. Myers on Daniels), said it was state law. We eat out here 4 to 5 times a week and have never experienced this strange drink-specific law. No apology or concern. just stand behind a mixture of store policy and state law. Quite the opposite experience from your mellow founders. no thank you. Are at this location for the first time today. I'm not a stranger to Mellow Mushroom and am aware that each location has its own thing going on. But let me tell you that this is the best MM Pizza I've ever had. The crust was delicious and the pizza was so darn good. I wanted to buy just the crust and eat that. We also had the spinach and artichoke dip, which was good but definitely could have been better, and should have had more bread to eat it with. Service was a little slow compared to what we're used to (being from another state), but that seems to be a regional thing. read more

The staff was friendly and greeted us promptly when we walked into the wrong door, the bartender directed us to the host desk so we could get a table. Jack was our server and did a great job, very quick and attentive to our needs. The kitchen knocked the pizza (The Merry Prankster) out of the park! The pizza was delicious, crust (Classic Crust) was crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, restaurant was clean and had a fun, light hearted atmosphere. 100% will be back to have more pizzas and to try some alcohol too! read more
