Disappointing experience overall. Our waitress, Dasia, came across as rude and inattentive. One of our entrees was incorrect, and when we told the staff member who dropped off the food, she said a manager would come by, but no one ever did. After that, we didn't see our server or receive any follow-up for over 20 minutes. For the price we paid, the service did not meet expectations. There are so many great things about The Cheesecake Factory. It's a successful chain for obvious reasons, and you can always count on a delicious meal at any location. This restaurant is aesthetically pleasing; large and clean. We ordered our usual --miso salmon. The Cheesecake Factory's miso salmon is one of the most delicious meals on this planet. So what could possibly spoil this wonderful dining experience? Well, this restaurant is COLD. (notice I said "is," not "was.") I covered my arms with my short sleeves, and wished I had brought a jacket. I kept my arms off the table because it was like ice. We asked the waiter about it, and he said it had been like that since opening, and people are always complaining. The other thing that bugged me a little was the (over) pricing, The meal cost was as expected, but every extra thing seemed a little high. Side salad? $10. Juice? $10. Bottle of beer? $10. We finished up with a slice of vanilla cheesecake, and you guessed it... $12. But the cheesecake was very mediocre, and nothing special at all. We finished it 'because it was there.' Next time, we'll skip desert at The Factory, and just buy a whole cheesecake at Publix. But honestly, I don't think there will be a next time, and if there is, I'll make sure to bring a jacket and a pair of gloves. read more

I have only eaten at a cheesecake factory once before, and I think this about did it for me. My plane landed late and there wasn't much open around my hotel, but they were open until 10. I remember the menu being extensive and I was hungry and tired, so I just figured I would get a burger. Easy peasy. I sat for at least ten minutes, before anyone came to my table. I nearly grabbed my stuff and walked to the bar. My waitress finally came, and she was friendly, but obviously new. I ordered just their basic burger (no mayo) and a glass of wine. She came back to my table three times for clarification. But again, she was friendly. What came out, was quite possibly the worst burger I have ever had. Just a little hockey puck on a bun. Completely unseasoned and over cooked. What I, at first, thought was an orange tomato slice, turned out to be an unripe, crunchy green tomato slice. Under it a handful of raw shredded cabbage. Who puts a giant handful of raw cabbage on a burger?! Has this person ever had a burger? It was so bad, and not inexpensive. I always look forward to going to The Cheesecake Factory. They have such a variety of food, and it's all good. I was happy that they had lunch portions as well. The avocado egg rolls on the egg roll sampler were my favorite. Not pictured was our celebration cheesecake and the tiramisu cheesecake that we took to go. The red velvet cheesecake is my favorite! Our service was great, and we were lucky enough to get a seat right away even though it was busy. The restaurant always looks so cool on the inside, like you're eating in Italy. We have not been to a Cheesecake Factory for a few years! On a Thursday night, we set our feet in this Cheesecake Factory at Coconut Points in Estero! There are indoor and outdoor tables. We opted for indoor table because the temperature turned slightly chilly! We were seated immediately and the staff is quick to bring breads, and drinks. The menu is extensive. You can order burgers, sandwiches, pizza, tacos, pasta, seafood, steaks or skinnylicious dishes. There is a dish for everyone. I ordered my favorite Chicken Madeira, one of Cheesecake Factory's most popular dish! Two pieces of tender chicken breast with melted mozzarella cheese, sliced mushroom, fresh asparagus and the Madeira sauce. It is simply delicious! Wife ordered Chicken Costoletta. A very lightly breaded chicken breast with lemon sauce, asparagus and mashed potatoes. The portion was huge and we did not have any room for cheesecake! Service is excellent and the price reasonable! Staff checked several times for water refill, drinks and breads! I'm glad that Cheese Factory set up shop in Coconut Points. We came in for lunch today at 11:30. We sat at the bar with Ja. Ordered fried pickles as an appetizer. Then a sandwich and orange chicken. We waited for an hour for our entrees to come out. There were a total of 6 people in the restaurant from what we saw. Ja checked 4 times on our meals. He said" I'm getting g ready to get on the chef because it is taking so long". He checked 4 times. Offered us cocktails while we were waiting. Then the bill comes and we were charged for them. He said the manager wouldn't even pay for our last round. I asked to speak to her. She with no personality or smile said nothing would be taken off our bill today. It was only 20 minutes.i asked her name. It's Shay. We both manage local restaurants and couldn't believe how rude she was. We spent $145 and we were totally disrespected. When we told our daughter's boyfriend we were going, he jokingly said "he would start reviewing the menu tonight". They do have a huge menu.....for sure. Firstly, the temperature inside the restaurant was quite cold. We should have requested to be seated outside like the family across from us. Secondly, the amount of ketchup provided was insufficient. An average restaurant. I ordered the Mac n cheese burger and it was decent, the fried Mac n cheese ball was more or less a patty and didn't really taste like much. It was a sizable portion. We recently came for my mom's birthday. This a newer location. The restaurant is pretty but the layout is very narrow. For some you might feel a little cramped for other you might like the more intimate feel. The menu is intense in the sense that there are sooo many options. My mom is on incisive side(I know I probably shouldn't have brought her to a place with so many option), but the staff was good with answering any questions we had. They also did a great job with any diet restrictions and modifications we needed. As you can guess, the cheesecake was perfection. Thw table favorite was the tiramisu cheesecake. It was so good that we purchased a whole cake for another family members birthday. read more

New update with an unfortunate 1 star rating. I was one of four people in a lunch time visit on a Thursday. We were there when the doors open and seated instantly; our check reflected our water served at 11:31am. We needed to make a 1 o'clock appointment, very nearby, and placed our order very soon after our water arrived. We observed our waiter make several stops at other tables before placing our order. Still, we were not concerned that we would not make our appointment since our order was not labor intensive. The restaurant was basically empty at that hour. At 12:10, the waiter approached our table and said "the food is coming". At this time, we told him we needed ASAP to give us time to eat before having to leave. At 12:20, he checked with us again and said he would check the salads and burger that we placed. At 12:30 we saw him carrying our plates; by now it was too late for us to eat. We asked him to please take it all back and "box it to go". Ten minutes later, he brought the bags without the check, and we asked to see the manager. We approached the desk, got our checks, and the manager inquired what was wrong. We explained how unhappy we were that this had happened and she said "let me check the computer". She then informed us "that the meal was submitted at 12:11 and takes seventeen minutes to complete". We asked "why the time from 11:30 to 12:11 didn't the check go in?" She said "what is it you expect me to do? You have your lunches". We were ready to throw our lunches back at her but held our composure and said "Even a piece of cheesecake would have been a nice offer". She had no part of it and walked away from us, ending the conversation. We were not looking for a free lunch or to cause any trouble. We were for there to support a friend who had medical appointment and thought this would be a treat for her. In the end, she ended up throwing her salad out and we ate our soggy salads and burger in the hospital lobby. We vowed never to go again. While we were eating in the lobby, people approached us asking how the service was at the restaurant. Apparently, there have been multiple issues at this particular location and we were just the next group to encounter it. This new Cheesecake Factory lives up to the tradition of all the Cheesecake Factory's I've ever visited - namely: Great service, Great food, and reasonably priced. We arrived on a Friday at 12:55pm and were told there'd be a 15 minute wait. However after only 10 minutes we were seated and a friendly and attentive server, "Hannah" welcomed us, explained the daily specials, and took our drink orders. The interior is a horseshoe "U-shape" with the entrance in the middle and the bar area to the left along with regular restaurant seating. The rest of the restaurant seating is to the right. There is also additional outdoor seating. In fact we were asked if we wanted to sit outside (with no waiting) but being this is summer in southwest Florida we quickly passed on that option (Yaa air conditioning). I ordered their "Chicken Madeira". It consists of sautéed chicken breast topped with fresh asparagus and melted mozzarella cheese. It's covered with fresh mushroom Madeira sauce and served with mashed potatoes ($24.95). They state it's their most popular chicken dish. I can understand why, because it was delicious!! My better half ordered their Shepherd's Pie and it was very good as well. Both were presented hot off the griddle and looked amazing! I also ordered their Voodoo Ranger IPA to drink. It came as a draft and was served ice cold - Kudos to the bar. A very satisfying and enjoyable meal. I had a computer issue trying to order to go, tried to order a take out and no one answered. Decided to go and order and wait for take out. Manager walked by (Ellie) and explained my issue so they could fix on line ordering, Ellie was amazing, apologized for my inconvenience and comped check( not what I was looking for) but most definitely will make me a frequent Customer. Love their food, it is between home and job so will pick this as a place to pick up dinner more frequently due to Ellie's excellent customer service and how can you not love their food! read more

People always say "Oh I loooove The Cheesecake Factory!" We've never been so we figured, why not? We stopped in on a Saturday around lunch. We were told it'd be a 30 minute wait for a table, which was fine. Only about five minutes passed before they called our name! Great! The place is huge! Like... we sat near the back and it took forever to get back there. Big place. Our server (I think he said his name was Connor) was super friendly and was prompt and helpful. The food though.... What is everyone getting here that they love? The bread they brought was ok. The sourdough piece was rock hard, though. Husband got a burger; it was soaked in different sauces (on the top and bottom). After he scraped most of it off, he said it was a pretty average burger. I had the Margherita pizza. It was... not great. I hate to poopoo things but it really wasn't great. Dry, extra chewy and lacked flavor. Margherita pizza is my favorite but this was not it. Kid had the cheese pizza. Very excited about this new location. We went for brunch on a Sunday. Since we had a reservation, our table was ready when we got there. The ambiance is very much "The Cheesecake Factory" and clean. The staff were helpful and friendly. Even they have a big menu, anything that we had was never disappointed. The brunch menu is only for Saturdays and Sundays. This time I tried the Asian chicken salad from the Skinnylicious menu. Even it is calorie friendly, it was good portion and tasty. We live nearby & are reward members. The manager refused to honor a corporate marketing email I received for cheesecake. It had my reward number, current date, description of the reward. The mgr- Ellen-E says they can't honor corporate rewards - because it's not programmed. Bait & switch. No desire to appreciate or satisfy the customer- or honor the Cheesecake Corporations's promises- rather - the mgt prefers to argue loudly in a shaming way at the customer in the restaurant. The manager acting helpless- ....'it's all corporate'- over what? ‍ cheesecake? We were not treated as valued customers. We were there a few weeks ago. The food gets worse each time we visit. They NEVER let the lettuce dry/drain. Once the dressing is put on it, you have a pool of watered down, flavorless liquid on your plate. The appetizer (chicken potstickers) were almost cold this visit. The worse thing about this visit is there looked to be a meeting going on in the dining room and a female manager who was leading it was extremely unprofessional and degrading to the other people at the table, none of who looked happy to be there. I was embarrassed for the people, including us, who were in earshot of this meeting. It is no wonder the restaurant runs so poorly when leadership treats people so bad. I won't be back. It has been too many visits where the atmosphere there feels deflated and like a bunch of emotionless zombies. On a positive note, because of this meeting I can now say I have seen a manager in the dining room at this Cheesecake Factory now. There is a first for everything. My wife and I went to this location to have a late lunch. The hostess Terri escorted us to a two seated small booth next to a family of screaming kids. My wife asked if we could sit a little ways down. She looked at my wife with annoyed look but sat us several booths down. We sat there for a while as we saw Terri going over to several servers and pointed to us. We waited about 15 minutes until my gazing directly at the staff caught one of their attention and she came over. The server started her conversation with how was your 4th of July. The food was good and tasty as usually but then Terri the hostess passed a whole line of tables to purposely sit another large family with little kids sneezing, coughing, and crying. My wife is going through Cancer treatment and her defenses are down Terry didn't know that but she that family next to with a snicker in her face. It was a petty act used to punish us for asking to move. I can't stand it when a person who is there to serves you wants to penalize you for what they perceive as something that it's not. A good hostess would know to seat families next to families and couples away from the families to enjoy the night. I could understand if the place was packed but it was very slow and quite empty. It kind of took away from the ambiance and experience of my wife and I having a quiet lunch with no drama but I guess Terri had to have her petty vengeance. If this is her attitude she shouldn't be working as a hostess. Maybe a dishwasher. Nevertheless I don't think I'll be coming to this location anymore. I am rarely impressed with chain restaurants but I have to give CF credit. Bob and I met for lunch yesterday and had a wonderful experience. The bread basket was Delicious especially the brown bread. Bob's burger wasn't a patty. Hard to find and cooked to perfection. The menu is monstrous and I actually found gumbo, a favorite of mine. Very tasty and spicy although some of the chicken was a bit tough. The icing on the cake was the service. Ask for Carolina. She is knowledgeable about your choices and very attentive. And she cares. Lets start with Ambiance this time. Its was just as cold as a walk in cooler. Like uncomfortably cold. And apparently this is a psychological scheme to not only make you eat more but also make you eat quicker so tables can be turned faster. Food: Do NOT the Korean BBQ chicken dish. (First attempt at an order) Upon arrival it came out cold and dry. Ie the rice and the crispy chicken. My 2nd attempt (attached picture) was the Chipotle chicken pasta dish. It was an improvement. Could it have more flavor to it....yes. Service: our waitress was WAY to into herself. She did ALMOST everything right EXCEPT for one MAJOR thing that all servers should do....fill up water glasses at sign of half glass. Not once did she even attempt to fill our glasses up for every time she came to our table. And so because of that her tip easily went from 18 to a quick 15% . My wife and I were excited to have the Cheesecake Factory add a location that's close to our home! During a week and a half period, we ate lunch on 3 occasions and one dinner. We made reservations for 5:45PM on a Friday and were seated by 6:02PM. A 12Noon reservation on a Sunday had us seated by 12:07PM. So, a bit of a wait even with a reservation. Not bad, but possibly needs some tweaking. The finish out of the restaurant was beautiful and possibly a little toned down from other Cheesecake Factories. This location is not hurting for business and was packed each time we visited. With that, the noise level is a bit on the louder side, but not bad. Service was superb each time and all of our servers had a good knowledge of the menu. You won't go wanting for drink refills or more bread. Food was a bit of a mixed bag and probably indicates some work is needed in the kitchen. My Steak Diane came out well done even though I ordered medium rare. I did receive a properly cooked replacement (along with an apology) after a few minutes. My wife wasn't happy with her Chicken Madeira as she thought it was a bit grisly. My order of the same dish was good. My wife also found the zucchini sticks to be somewhat bland. She also was disappointed with an omelette due to it being somewhat rubbery. Other dishes that we thoroughly enjoyed included the cheeseburger spring rolls, Louisiana pasta, Baja chicken tacos and of course cheesecake! I'm sure that issues in the kitchen will get tweaked in the near future and come up to usual Cheesecake Factory standards. All in all, this location is definitely worth a try! read more

This past weekend my husband and I decided to be brave and try and get a table at the brand new Cheesecake Factory at the Coconut Point Mall. Thankfully after looking online first I saw where if you signed up for their reward program you could also make a reservation. After checking in with the host we were promptly seated. We started with the Ahi Poke Nachos which were plentiful and flavorful! For entrees I had the Spicy Rigatoni with Vodka sauce and my husband had the Bow tie pasta with chicken in a garlic cream sauce. Both dishes were a decent portion (enough to take home for lunch the next day) and were very tasty! And of course who goes to the Cheesecake Factory without getting cheesecake? My selection was the Godiva Chocolate cheesecake (delicious!) and I also sampled my husband'a choice of Snickers Cheesecake (also delicious!) The only slight hiccup was our cocktails did take a long time to arrive-we found out later an accident at the bar caused the delay. But they did eventually arrive and were very good! And the manager comped us for the long wait. Rebecca, our server, was very personable and attended to all our needs. We decided to visit the Coconut Poont location in Estero, FL for my grandson's birthday. When we arrived, we were told 1 & 1/2 hour wait. We agreed and went to the mall. we were excited after receiving a message the table was ready in a 1/2 hour! Woo hoo! Got seated on the patio - table of 9. After being seated did not see anyone for 20 minute. when the waiter asked for the drink order we said let's just order food at the same time. Received drinks at the 45 minute mark. Went to use the place settings, and ALL of them were dirty- ALL 9! Dinner was served about an hour in... but NOT EVERYONE one meal cane after everyone else was finished eating! I don't blame the waiter, he was attentive when we became his last table before leaving. I blame management. i mean for the 5 ***** star price - $380 I really expect 5 star service.
