literally everything ab this place is a red flag...went to get a full set and possibly my eyebrows done. they sit me down cool, start on my nails...only gets to put the acrylic on then offers a "courtesy" pedicure for having to wait a few minutes which was kind of eyebrow raising but hey...I had a full 2 hours on my hands to waste. I get my "courtesy" pedicure then as im about to get up and go back to my nails I see he's seated someone else and alrd started putting acrylic on hers, I wait about an hour in the pedicure chair as he's seating multiple ppl and yes I did let them because I wanted to see how many ppl he thought he could do so I don't look crazy before I made a scene.... after that I told them I was leaving and not waiting anymore. why should I have to be the one to go to him after a pedicure I didn't ask for when I made the appointment already?! and get this...they charged me $105 for services that I didn't ask for and that they didn't even fucking finish. they're rude as fuck in there and will tell you to get up so they can start someone else's nails then will forget you're there. I'm all about speaking up...but it's crazy how an establishment can't even consider their customers. CRAZY if I could leave 0 stars I would. read more

Dishonest. ***This issue was not a mistake on anyway it was an intentional attempt at deception.*** The problem with having a "menu" with posted clear prices, is that your customer knows when you are deliberately overcharging them. My mom and I went in for pedicures, they were $40.00 for the "deluxe". That 40 was posted and clear. No matter that I felt the price did not match the shop or area it was what it was and I was willing to pay. When done and drying I was asked to pay 46.80. She came back with a calculator and explained my pedicure was 45.00(it wasn't) and about 1.80 service charge for using my card( I did not see that information posted). I was annoyed but said to myself "maybe she's charging for her own tip or she's overcharging cause I'm fat" ok I didn't like it but fine. Whatever I just won't add a tip since I got a markup. So my mom gets up to pay the person who did hers goes "$40 ma'am " (we got the same pedicure side by side) the woman who did mine stops him and says something to him and he then says $45. My mom questions it, because it was supposed to be $40 he said in a forced confused tone"oh? I'll check for you" then he changes it to $40 with an apology. This was a clear attempt at overcharging. I usually tip well but I don't like being given misinformation or being slighted in anyway. No matter the amount, this was deceptive and dishonest. I went to California nails Friday and I waited for my eyebrows, when it was my turn I told the lady at the front desk to leave them thick, and she got a very negative disposition with me because I wasn't sure if she heard me or NOT. because she just nodded her head after I said it like 4 times and then she said I heard u, you have trust me and was ranting on how she heard me the first time and I didn't have to keep repeating myself. She had a bad attitude. If I wasn't trusting her I would have never went. It being it was my first time at this shop. She should have been said at the beginning whether she heard me. A head nod could mean anything, I didn't know she understood me. In result She burnt and bruised the hell out my eye. Plus my eyebrows are not even and lots of bumps and burning. I stopped going a while back because of how I was treated....not to mention that Lily wouldn't allow Jenifer or Kevin to work on me. She actually told them that I am HER client. Yet, she'd always have her mother or sister do my pedi because she'd rather be working on someone else. So much for all my years of loyalty. I'm paying, so *I* get to pick the nail tech. Don't believe the HYPE!..Yes this place does good nails minus a few things 1.) Even though you schedule an appt. that doesn't mean you won't wait 3-4 hours to get your nails done. i use to go there on a regular on 2 different occasions they told me to come and I left work early to get there and Jennifer and Kevin tell me to come back another time. One time I made an appt and another lady with the same name did too they took her. My mom got a pedicure there and got a fungus. I decided not to go back. THIS PLACE IS DEFINITELY OVER RATED.
