A Follow Up Review from my last review:…read more Because I had used Ivor and Preferred Turf a few years ago for my backyard, I decided I wanted to also update my front yard by replacing the grass with turf. I got tired of paying the water bill, constant fertilizing and feeding along with mowing and weeding. Iver promptly came out and gave me a fair bid. Because I had used him previously and had vetted four companies before selecting him, I did not feel I needed to get any further bids He immediately started on the work and finished as promised. However, due to the weather at the time, he knew he was gonna have to come back to stretch and tighten the turf once the weather warmed up. Ivar and his team returned to the house over the weekend and made all the necessary adjustments to tighten up the turf and make it look pristine! I vetted four companies originally to do my landscape project before selecting Iver. He is a man of his word and will follow through with anything he promises. Don't hesitate to get three or four bids, reach out to him for an appointment. You won't be sorry.

Garret came in slightly under the others - and actually was able to do a little more within my budget than the other options! We also love that when he came out, he actually had sample grasses for us to pick from on the spot and a booklet of all the paver options, so it was easy to visualize the end result. He also gave me a much better warranty on the work he did than anyone else. The team worked fast and efficiently. And once they started, they finished within a week. And when it was done, they let me keep the excess materials, in case we ever need repairs down the line. Highly recommend!

Unfortunately, my experience with this turf installation company was disappointing. The…read morecommunication was inconsistent, and the project took longer than promised. The installation itself was not completed to the standard I expected, with noticeable uneven areas and issues with the finishing details. I would recommend carefully reviewing the contract, timeline, and warranty details before hiring this company.

Denning came by again this evening on 8/25/26 to update the team about such concerns and took notes of all the recommended improvements. In addition, we did add a last minute change and to my understanding we are being accommodated with our last minute change to use the remaining tiles we initially paid for but were not used. I think the one initial experience does not define the whole company and they are doing what they can to improve our experience and we are very pleased that they are making an effort to listen to our concerns. Despite the initial hiccup, I believe I would give this company a thumbs up for the efforts. Maybe there are a lot of stressful day to day business operations, and I can see how that can get in the way of things with tight schedules and deadlines that must be met. We will provide a final update when the project is completed and share pictures. Thank you to the staff of turf now for doing what they can to turn this experience around for us.
