My grass was installed in July. It was a smooth consult, scheduling & installation. It looks great! Fast Forward 3.5 months later, my happiness has disappeared. The grass smells HORRIBLE! I have 2 dogs that mostly use a different part of the yard. I had turf previous to this for 5 years and it took 4 years to start to smell. There is ZERO reason for it to smell already. I don't run a kennel over here. When i contacted the company, I was told to buy one of their products they sell OR hire someone to come clean it. This is ridiculous to me & unprofessional. At all stages of the process, Lawn Kings - Josh and owner Steve Rice did exactly as they represented and went above and beyond with an extremely fair price and a great product, complete with a 15-year warranty. They arrived on time, left the property spotless after each day's work every day. The best I can say is they are a well-oiled and experienced team. That was evident just watching them work as a team. We anticipated a full week of work if not more, they arrived on a Monday morning like a military operation, probably 20+ workers, well-supervised and each clearly knowing what their roles were. Logistics were well-planned and demolition debris removal was timed perfectly, I counted at least four low-boy roll-off dumpster loads, bob cat tractor, delivery of heavy steel gopher wire, turf and related supplies and equipment all were perfectly timed. Not one worker was standing around or wasting time. Like an army of ants on an ant hill, all busy but each aware of their role and working very hard as a team. They completed the job by Wednesday night and it looks spectacular. No sooner did they complete the job but it rained like crazy. No problems whatsoever, no puddles, no drainage issues, perfect. I searched high and low for an artificial turf installer for my home and am so glad I went with Lawn Kings. Josh, Steve, Eduardo and the entire crew who did the installation were wonderful to work with. I received 4 estimates from 4 different places, and although lawn kings was not the cheapest (they were 2nd lowest so it was still very competitive!) they gave me the most peace of mind that I was going to get a quality product and flawless installation. I was on the fence between the and another company that felt a little on the shady side (trust those instincts people!) so I emailed Steve (the owner) about my wanting to go with them but facing a lower price from another vendor and he immediately wrote me back (despite it being the weekend- bonus points right there!). He explained the value of going with lawn kings and why his price was what it was. Ended up trusting my gut and going with them. I know some of my neighbors have gone with cheaper vendors and their grass is not looking great now that some time has passed. I learned this is because the installation was not done correctly. Do yourself a favor and protect your investment by going with a company who understands how to properly install turf, otherwise you will have seams showing and ridges and wrinkles start appearing and that just ruins the beautiful aesthetic and clean lines of artificial turf. Josh was my contact for the quote as well as to answer any questions up through the installation- anytime I would text me he would promptly reply. He followed up with me after to make sure everything was good. The team who came to do the work were very conscious of my neighbors and living in an HOA neighborhood- it was very appreciated!
