My car was hit in my work parking lot by a co-worker. The damage was not too bad but some decent scratches in the rear quarter panel. I was sent to Caliber Collision by the insurance company for an estimate. While Kevin, the service adviser, was looking at my truck for the estimate he told me that the scratches were not that bad and he understood how it can be an awkward situation since the accident occurred with a co-worker. He said he felt bad having this go through insurance and knows how frustrating of a situation it can be having to get a rental and losing my car for the time to fix it, etc. He asked if I had 20 minutes to spare and took my keys. 20-25 minutes later he came back with my truck. He was able to buff out the scratches and reapply the clear coat making my truck look bran new. I asked him what the cost was going to be and he said it was on Caliber Collision. Ok if any of you are wondering if Caliber Collision on Empire Blvd has changed from the family feel and high quality of DC Collison. Stop, if its even possible, its better! I crashed a few cars in my life, thankfully none were my fault, and I always used DC Collison. When I saw the name change I wasn't sure what was up. So when I stopped in today with a total ASK, if someone could look at my bumper which pulled away slightly from the frame and see if it was a quick fix or an extended repair. I was greeted by Vanessa, which was a relief because I remembered her from my past experiences at DC. She said no problem and actually took and look and then had one of her professionals (Lloyd or Floyd, I'm bad with names) come out. Caliber Collison was recommended to me, after an unfortunate accident. I first had contact with Linda, who took the time to explain the entire process and totally put me at ease. When I dropped off my Jeep, they had my rental car waiting for me, answered all my questions and got me on my way. Steve was wonderful. He contacted me every Tuesday and Thursday with updates, patiently answered my questions and had the work done 3 days earlier than expected. Vanessa met me when I picked up my Jeep. I had a broken off key in my hitch pin and Kevin from Caliber Collision immediately offered a solution to be able to get the pin out so that I could take off my cargo carrier. There was no way I was able to do this at home. A team of guys at Caliber Collision worked on it and within a half an hour they were able to remove the stubborn pin and got me out of a very sticky situation. I am extremely grateful. And on top of that- they didn't even charge me! This type of service is extremely rare nowadays. Top marks. Super friendly with a modern facility. I brought my vehicle in to be fixed after it was hit. The entire staff was professional and helpful from start to finish.
