One of the drip rails attached to my front windshield snapped in half and flew off while driving on the highway. Apparently, this is pretty common on older Honda Civics. I was able to order replacement parts online, and the fine folks at Caliber Collision took care of the install. The entire process was as easy as it gets. I brought the replacement parts to the shop, and a half-hour later, the broken drip rail was replaced and looked like new. I also had the shop replace the drip rail on the other side of my windshield since I had the extra part. Everything came out great and the folks I worked with were super friendly and fast. I was surprised how quick everything came together. Would definitely recommend the shop to anyone needing repairs! read more

I brought my car here for repair and from the moment I stepped in the customer service was amazing, they have drinks and snacks for you to have while you wait. The whole team goes above and beyond. The estimate I originally received was lower than what they were charging, but they handled the rest through the insurance, which meant I did not have to deal with the administrative things behind it. They worked very quick and the quality of their work is top-notch, they went above and beyond and even gave my car a nice wash. Tyler was so kind and it was so great working with him in the team. Kudos! Hope I never have to bring my car in for repair again, but if I do, it will always be at this location. Highly recommend caliber collision on university. read more

What a great experience! My mom went in to have her bumper repaired after a small fender bender. After being quoted over $2,000 from another shop, Jesus took amazing care of her! He fixed the problem for literally a fraction of the cost! I felt compelled to write the review as my mom is a demographic that is often taken advantage of which we saw at other shops. To have someone be that honest and simply take care of the problem at a fair price is a perfect example of 5 star service and others should know about it. I am so very grateful. read more

I wanted to start with the staff there guiding me through this complicated, and frustrating time with an individual that hit my car on the passenger side. The office administrator. Gave me some crucial advice about a liability claim. I didn't know to much on payments for me. I thought that had been taking care of by the claim office already. I took Trejohn Brooks advice and, now I drove my car back home to wait on the status of the person that hit my car through my insurance to cover my self so I won't be billed until I get reassured there isn't any funny business going on with the individual in this case. I appreciate the office administrator Trejohn Brooks for this game changing suggestion. Located in 2505 University Ave, in North Park. Thank you so much! Recommend this location 5 star very knowledgeable staff read more

Walking on the door, the entire staff is friendly, welcoming, gracious and helpful. They offer customers a drink (soda, water in fridge) and are easy going and nice to talk to when taking care of a stressful situation. You can tell the staff enjoys working together. Everyone is smiling and they have a nice rapport with each other. They did an amazing job explaining everything to me. Answered all my questions. Worked directly with my insurance to make it easy on me. Took their time with me. Made me feel valued as a customer. They kept me informed of all the steps of the repair process. They were flexible with me and accommodating every step of the way. Nothing but positive attitudes and everyone helps out right away to make sure they're doing the best job possible for you and your car. I couldn't have had a better experience. I would go back, hopefully I'll never need to, but this is the place! They did what they said they would do, made sure it was right and then helped me get back into my car quickly and easily! Thank you guys!! You are all wonderful and my car looks great! read more

I am so impressed, delighted, and relieved by the service at this Caliber Collisions site. I had a great, smooth and easy experience. I dropped my car off on a Monday for repairs and got it back on Friday. They communicated with me every step of the way. The repair was even quicker than originally planned. They communicated effectively with my insurance company and with the rental car agency. Honestly everything was taken care of right away zero wait and to a high level of excellence. Above all, the employees are super kind, helpful, and professional! They rock! Thank you Adrian! Thank you for making this a better experience, even when car issues can be such a headache! read more

Trevor and Jesse provided outstanding service! They got the job done on time, and Trevor communicated actively with me along the way - never was I not sure of what was going on. When I had an issue with my insurance company, Trevor stepped in and handled it immediately without any hesitation. The leadership and training here is clearly one of a kind. My experience left me feeling taken care of and even gave me some hope for the world. read more

I had a huge repair due to an accident and the staff were friendly, patient and most important compasionate! Huge Thank you to Adrain at the North Park location! He kept me in the loop, ensured I had a ride and demonstarted excellent professionalism. Highly recommend this location! read more

My car was hit while it was parked and had to get it fixed. Ended up going to this location as it's close to where I live. It's a small Caliber Collision which is why I'm very impressed with their speed and service given that fact. I was quoted with two weeks but they were done in one and when she came back it was like nothing had happened which is very shocking considering the dude that hit me rocked the hell out of my bumper and even my rim. Ended up coming back same day because I heard a noise coming from that area upon driving but they were so fast to accommodate and ensure everything was perfect. They tightened up everything just to be safe which was appreciated. All in all very impressed. read more

Guys in the front office, Adrian and Trey, were super nice and helpful when I had to bring my car in for repairs for my first time. Explained everything I needed and helped me work with my insurance company. Would recommend. read more

The repair on my daughter's car all went smoothly and in a timely manner. Great customer service.

I'm nominating Jesse & Frank there for sainthood. After misjudging a turn around a fence, a little buffing & kindness made it look as it should. Thank you, thank you!!! read more

Caliber North Park is a very professional, and well run collision shop. They made me feel like I was in the best hands. Tre in the front was very upbeat and hilarious. Adrian was so transparent, honest, and knowledgeable with cars. "Jesse", the GM was so kind hearted and charitable. Even offered me a ride back to my house because I didn't have a rental. They kept me informed every step of the way. They hold themselves to a very high level of integrity. I recommend EVERYONE to come by if they need any body/paint work done. I hope I don't get into any more accidents, but if I do; I know EXACTLY where I'm going! read more

I should've written this years ago, better late than never I guess. Between 2017-2020ish I had a good amount of accidental issues/collisions with my vehicle. Long story short, Caliber Collision repaired my vehicle every single time--they made the whole thing so easy. I think they work directly with my insurance, so between the two everything was buttoned up. MY FAVORITE PART..........They clean/vacuum your car after they fix it--and they do a REALLY good job! So because my car was there so frequently I really didn't have to do it myself. I didn't notice this until there was a length of time when I DIDN'T have any collisions and I was like WHY is my car not clean?!?! It was because it didn't have to go there to be repaired:) But also they are super nice, flexible and accommodating. read more

I took my Mini Countryman to the Caliber collision on University Ave in San Diego. They elected to transfer it up to their Escondido shop that specializes in European auto body work. Boy was I impressed! They contacted me twice a week to give me updates on their progress. My service advisor Kenny was excellent and helpful. They beat their expected completion date by a full week (taking 3 weeks rather than the projected four weeks). When the tow company arrived on Friday night at 715 pm with my car the remote wasn't working. He drove to Home Depot to replace the battery for me. (I currently have a broken shoulder and can't get around, so that was invaluable.) If I ever need bodywork again, based on this experience I'll call Caliber Collision! Great job! Truly above and beyond on all counts! (And I'm a tough grader.) Thank you. read more

I stopped in today to get an estimate for a missing fog light, and also ask about a scraping sound underneath my car. Adrian was very helpful and made a fix to solve the scraping issue. He also took some pictures and got some information and will send me an estimate shortly. The nice things were that I didn't have to wait at all for help, the estimate will be free, the estimate didn't have to go through insurance, and he very kindly helped me for free with fixing the scraping issue. read more

Nice staff and they did great job on repairing my front fender. The work they did took about 3 weeks but I am told that is how long things take these days. I wish they had a little bit better communication. The texts that were sent to me were more confusing than helpful. But I would recommend the shop. read more

I brought my car in after an accident through my insurance and it could not have been more of a seamless process. They were so polite, professional and kept me in the loop the entire time. The work they did was incredible. Paint job and everything. Cannot recommend them enough!! read more

Unprofessional and uncommunicative. Take your business elsewhere! Was told by AAA insurance to go here. After getting a quote appointment I was ghosted for over a week by an employee (Joe V.) He freaked me out by quoting an insanely inflated $5k in repairs PLUS another $4k for out of insurance claims to fix prior damage, YET sends my official insurance estimate at $2.5k. And then refuses the repair because of prior damages. Notice a discrepancy? Cool. He also saw cosmetic scratches on my bumper (it's a used car) and insinuated that I need to get it completely replaced and that my insurance wouldn't wouldn't be happy with the state of it and my vehicle. This was an oblivious ploy to attempt to inflate the repair and charge more money. Every point of communication I've had to initiate and follow up - each time I was given a "oh I was just about to email you" "I was just about to call" It's obvious by their actions that this location is not interested in helping people or respecting their time or wallets. Take your business elsewhere! read more

I was rear-ended on the freeway. I was allowed by the insurance company to choose the collision repair business of my choice, which was Caliber Collision on University Ave. Having dealt with them previously, I knew that they would provide professional, accommodating, communicative, and honest service. Caliber did not disappoint. Jesse, the General Manager, was especially helpful and understanding. Ultimately, the car was a total loss, and I did not have any repair work done this time. That said, I have nothing but praise for this Caliber Collision's clear communication and professionalism! read more

My rear bumper was damaged in an accident. Joe was very professional and attentive with my repair and the bumper repair came out amazing!

I had some damaged done to my car door. The estimator Joe was great and honest. Often times I hear of auto body shops trying to take advantage of people by telling them they need to fix more than is needed. This was not the case, in fact, the complete opposite. Joe came out and saw the damage and said give me a minute. Came back, buffed out the paint marks on the door. Then said, look we can certainly fix the minor door dent which will cost a lot more than if go to a dent repair shop. If dent repair shop can't fix it or they end up splitting the paint while pulling out the dent, come back and we will handle it from there. It's great to know you can still find honest people who are looking out for your best interest and not theirs/the business. Thanks again Joe! read more

I went to Caliber Collision yesterday and had such a pleasant experience. Everyone there, especially Angel, was spectacular. I walked in a little confused because I wasn't sure where to park, who to talk to, and I was early for my appointment..."no problem" they said, "we go you." I was offered coffee multiple times, a seat to unwind in and they said they would handle everything, accommodate me early and send me on my way. And, that they did. All there men working there at the end of a long day were beyond kind and helpful and reminded me of how customer service used to be all the time. Their kindness was much appreciated and they will get any business I have in the future. read more

Goodness--I thought I wrote this review already and now I"ve forgotten names. Oh, well. Five stars to them for me stopping by 30 minutes before they closed on a Friday to ask them about an estimate to do a simple mirror replacement (I had the mirror) and they looked and said we can do that right now. And they did. It was done in about 10 minutes as they told me it would be, no fuss no muss (that's a phrase from yester year) and I was thrilled. I wanted to tip for the quick response but they wouldn't take it. Compare this to the Caliber Collision on Vandever who I had called a few days before and let's just say they weren't helpful. I wish I remembered the names of the two men I spoke with--I just want to say thank you to them for NOT making a simple repair into an ordeal. SO HELPFUL and easy to deal with. THANK YOU! read more

Great customer service. Staff was attentive and filled me in on status of my car. Great quality of work and service.

Someone backed up into me denting my bumper, cracking my spoiler and denting my hatch back in on my 2013 car. My insurance recommended this place and they were great! Very professional, lots of texts updates on the progress of my repair and they got it back to me 3 days sooner then expected. Fast check in and out. Highly recommend and they did a great job on my car. read more

Amazing quality work with these guys. My car was turned in on a Monday and was done by Thursday the same week. Couldn't believe it.

Long story, but I didn't actually get my car repaired here, but I was so impressed by the customer service I received that I had to share and write a review. (I wasn't able to get my car repaired here due to insurance issues/past repairs) I wish I was able to because the customer service, specifically from a woman named Karen was incredible! I can attest that they will go above and beyond with their service and keep you updated every step of the way. I have no doubt that the actual repair would have been great! read more

If I could give them less than one star I would. They're crooks .. i had a gut feeling when I walked in there and I should have went with that. They took my needing to get my car fixed quickly as an opportunity to gouge me. Never again .. don't use them. The one good thing I do have to say about this place is Monie was extremely nice .. she's not The one that helped me with my car until the end. read more
