This was the absolute worst customer service I have been exposed to in a very long time. Went in to this location, around 4:30pm 1/11/2017. The parking lot was empty. Walked in and five people standing around with clip boards, doing nothing but talking about TV or something asked what I needed. I said my Camaro was rear ended and I needed an estimate. It would have taken all of 10 minutes since only two parts needed replacing. I then received a song and a dance about they could not get me in till Monday to leave my car . I would have to leave it to get it looked at and then they would do the work. I said, "I need an estimate, first." Now hear is where it gets ludicrous....they said we do not do estimates. All they wanted to do was quote the company policy. I read a good book on marketing and the marketing guru said, "when you quote company policy to a customer, it is like giving them the finger." This is exactly how I felt. Then they asked if I wanted to set an appointment. No thank you. I left and presumably the five people with clip boards in their hands went back to talking about TV. There was no one in the waiting room and no one in the parking lot except for me. read more

$10,000 worth of damage to my brand new Prius V. Took it to Caliber because they are affiliate of my insurance company. The people were uniformly great to work with and they definitely gave me the feeling that they strived to get things right and make me happy. Repairs were finished within their estimated time (though that time estimate was pretty long). The appearance of the car is again like new. There were a series of minor problems after I picked up the car. All of them were related in some way to the car's complex electronics/programming (indicator lights, a faulty sensor). I understand that a body shop can't have deep insight into the computers of every make and model, so when they asked me to take my car directly to Toyota to deal with one of these issues, I was actually glad to do that. Caliber and Toyota worked out the billing for that between them, without me getting involved. I hope I never need collision repair again, but if I do I would go back to Caliber. read more

My truck was here for over a month this is the shop my insurance company goes through. I received weekly updates, anytime there was a change Scott contacted me to go over the changes and updates. Scott W. has always gone above and beyond to assist me and to ensure I understood step by step what was going on. There was some staff changes and it pushed the pick up date back about a week or so.. I had the option of getting mad or allowing the shop to take their time ensuring my vehicle was done correctly and knowing we would be safe in it. The reception staff was always friendly as well. Both the manager Nick and Scott assured me if I was going to have any additional charges for my rental they would cover the additional cost. Luckily Liberty Mutual stated the rental would be covered. I highly recommend this shop because they are honest, keep you posted and the outcome was great. I had to have the suspension replaced, a door, fender and door handles all repays well. read more

Where do I begin....after having some idiot hit me and drove away day before thanksgiving I allowed my insurance to recommend this place. After 3 weeks the car had huge noticeable gaps around the hood, fender and bumper area. After their second attempt to fix this I got the manager involved bc the bumper and hood were lopsided and nothing was flush or consistent. The parts didn't fit and he said he would need to order OEM parts So 8 weeks and 3 attempts later to fix my car it still looked like crap and when I got home my bumper popped off. It wasn't even bolted on. Also the fender had been cut and mitered to fit. Not sure why they would do that on factory parts. So this place sucks! The people were nice but full of excuses. read more

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE 1. I went in for an estimate and was told a price, quoted 2 weeks, & my case worker said it would be okay to drive (didnt believe him) 2. They kept my car for 5 weeks!!!! The end price 3x more than the original cost they kept pushing out my delivery date because the parts they ordered didnt fit (same story over and over again every time they rescheduled) 3. My case worker told me all parts finally fit and my car was getting painted and I could pick it up at 5:00pm just so he can call me at 4:45pm and postpone AGAIN. 2 days later I called and spoke to the manager and he told me my car was done and my case worker was on vacation. Ridicoulous! This case worker was really gonna wait until he returned to give me my car! He wad just collecting a bigger check for the "labor" and after they took my car in I was told it wasnt driveable which I suspected yet Taylor initially told me to drive (I didnt) 4. On top of that whenever I called to follow up (once a week) the receptionist were SO rude and unprofessional. One time I returned my case workers call and front desk had an ATTITUDE saying "you called me" well no duh but Im calling you back! To make it all better they would place me on a 5 minute hold Dont be fooled by their lobby or contracted insurance. Theyre the worst read more

I've not had my car repaired here but just starting with the front desk receptionist they need to hire ladies that have customer service preferably speaking English and the ones that do you speak English maybe not have to have a hearing aids and not have to have the customers repeat themselves over and over because as a customer I had to repeat myself way too many times and then they gave me attitude at both places on Fulton Avenue I had damage to my vehicle and I had insurance they were unable to find my insurance both times told me to contact my insurance no wait they did find my insurance the first time I had to reschedule the second time they were unable to find my insurance and told me oh it just went away so to make a long story short I did not want to deal with these inapt ladies that run the front office for caliber collision well I'm sure this doesn't reflect the work that is done on the vehicles but I certainly didn't want to bring my vehicle my vehicle there with all the attitude I was given so I took my my business elsewhere, If I can give zero stars to the front office I would caliber collision you need to step it up your front office is awful awful awful awful read more

I came here by recommendation of my insurance company for an estimate before I can choose any shop of my choice for the repair. I call in booked the appointment. When I came in the lady at the front counter were rude and not present. I checked in and wait for 30 minutes. A gentlemen came from the back and said the person was suppose to do the estimate stepped out. He was nice a present. He went to my vehicle and take a few quick photos and said Robert will get the estimate complete and will email me and my insurance a copy in a couple of hours. Until the next day, I didn't see any email for the estimate. So I call him in the morning and every morning to check if the estimate was complete. Every day Robert Ramirez keep telling me he will get the estimate complete and email to me by the end of the day until one and a half week later. He keep asking me to see if I want to use their shop for the repair. When I finally get the estimate report a week and a half later, I took to different shop. The estimation was pretty lousy. Robert did not list all the items that needs to repair or replace. There was no labor calculate in the estimate report and some part that was damaged was not list. I then call my adjuster, he said to follow the instruction on page 3 and call the number. Well, Robert list a totally a different insurance company phone number on the report. I contact the number and it was Progressive reporting line. My vehicle was delay for 3 weeks not touch by the repair shop because they couldn't reach out to my insurance company for the authorization for he rest of the parts and labors. I just open my mails and here you go I received a check payable to the shop from my insurance without the labors and incomplete parts that was not list. I'm still sitting here wondering when my vehicle will be fix. I can see Caliber Collusion only want the cash from the insurance. They don't care about the customers and quality. It's been a bad year for me but with the help of Robert Kretz and his team at Caliber Collision, I was very pleased and satisfied with the work they were able to provide. My car got hit back in March of this year and Mercury suggested this place as the best to go get my car repaired ... BEST DECISION EVER. Took my car in for an estimate and met with Robert, super duper nice guy with great customer service and sense of humor. When i took my car in, they repaired it so fast that i told my husband "This will be our to-go spot from now on!" My husband is a very complicated and hard person to get along with but he was very happy with the work as well and he really liked Robert. My car got hit again just last week and i told my insurance I would like to get it repaired at Caliber Collision on Fulton Ave. They had Robert as our advisor again and this time everything worked out super duper fast and easier. Brought my car in for an estimate, took it in to get it repaired the next day and Got a call from Robert 2 days later saying my car was good to go. I have never been this upset with ANYONE. They gave me my car back with TWO DIFFERENT HEADLIGHTS (where part of the accident happened). And I know many of us aren't professionals, but I think headlights are supposed to match (right? or am I crazy??). Below is an email that I sent to them which eventually got me into contact with the General Manager of Caliber (Kurt Barstad). BUT it did not stop there, eventually I got into contact with the Director of Operations of Northern CA (Phil Aliotti). BUT it did not stop there, eventually I got into contact with the VICE PRESIDENT of Operations (Greg Heppler). BUT, you guessed it, It did not stop there! I got into contact with my insurance and they told me they have a team designed to find negligence and MAKE PEOPLE ACCOUNTABLE. This is the first message I sent to Jeff (the advisor in charge of my car at the time). Good evening Jeff it's Piero, listen I'm not at all happy with my car. First, you guys could not find my exhaust tips so I said fine, I'll eat that and pay for them out of pocket. Then you guys couldn't commit to the date it was originally supposed to be done at causing me to cancel an appointment at Infiniti for my car. Also, you guys failed to communicate to each other about what specifics my car had after I had shared them with Kurt (specifically speaking about my rims). Now, I understand Ruth was gone for a whole week, but that does not excuse the blantantly speaking, negligence. Then there was the haggling I had to do to get at least a portion of what I'm going to spend on the older rims to either paint them or resurface them and then paint them, which in my opinion should have been brought up instantly instead of me having to, figuratively speaking, twist your arm for that. And please spare me the "I was going to bring it up at the end" because you didn't offer it for my exhaust tips which I now have to buy. Also, which quite frankly tipped me over the edge, you guys didn't even check to see if it was the right headlights. There's specific headlights which are designed to be HID on my car and you guys went with a nonHID headlight. Lastly, and I know I told you this already, but my car charger and aux cords are missing. My insurance highly recommended you guys and I am not impressed with the professional service you guys are supposed to hold yourselves to. I will share my story with them as well as post this on yelp. Attached I have sent a picture of the headlights. I will hear from you tomorrow. ~end email~ So I took it back to them to fix it. Last time I took my car without checking my headlights so this time I'm smart, I check them. And guess what! I SHIT YOU NOT they are still TOTALLY different lights!!!!!! One is blue and the other is white!!!! LOL YOU CANNOT BE SERIOUS!!! I started laughing at them partly from hysteria and partly because I did not think they could mess this up. (a second time) ~Read above paragraph for a good laugh~ Now it's been a month later and I hear a creaking in my suspension (where most of the damage happened). This time I contacted Phil to get my car done right. Except why do I keep believing that people change? They took it to Roseville Infiniti and told them to look at my clutch. ~????????~ Now I will show you guys part of the conversation I had with Phil. Phil, I really didn't want to email back because you guys keep failing me over and over. However I just want, no, I NEED you guys to understand something. I'm glad you brought up that MPI (Multi Point Inspection) from Infiniti. On there you can see that they found that the rear front lower links are bent, my concern is why are they bent if you guys replaced them? That is why I had Kurt sign right next to that, should I proceed with any legal action, you guys knew when you gave me my car that, what you guys replaced was bent. Before I bought my vehicle I had it inspected by my mechanics inside and out and had no problems. When there is a problem you give people the benefit of the doubt. I gave you guys multiple chances and I tried to resolve it between us, yet my lowers links are bent and now on top of that I have a creaking noise somewhere near the front right suspension. I also contacted Charles (the service advisor from Infiniti that was in charge of my car) and he confirmed with me that he was told to checked clutch and did not inspect the suspension (what my concern was). Phil, once again, you have been only helpful so this does not reflect on you, but on the negligence of your company. I am thankful of what you guys have done to get my car to what it was once was, but amid everything else, my time would have been better spent elsewhere. ~end email~ What I need from you guys reading this, is to share my story. Let it be known and please don't let this happen to you or anyone you care about. Hopefully my experience can make people aware of the negligence Caliber has. Disappointing customer service. Receptionist schedule my appointment right at the staff meeting so I had to wait 45 minutes before I was helped. Way receptionist! When I dropped off my car I again had to wait a half hour before getting helped. Technician said he would call by end of day no call / so when I called I was told I had to wait 24 hours - way to receptionist! I waited hoping I'd get a call but no I didn't- called technicals gave me the impression nothing had been done because he didn't know what needed to be replaced or what had to be ordered. No status reports called again two days later and was promised the car would be done late Monday early Tuesday. Called on Monday but works not done I will have wait longer. I getting the run around. Terrible! I had a 2:00 reservation for an inspection for car damage. I called this morning to verify the appointment and it was confirmed. When I arrived there was no one in the waiting area. The receptionist was very nice. She had my paperwork. She called for the inspector. Almost half an hour later, still no show for the inspector. I am used to sitting for a while in a doctor's waiting room for an appointment, but that is when it is crowded. I just had a bad feeling. I got up and told the receptionist that I think I will take my car elsewhere. She said she was sorry and called to see what the problem was. She said they were sending someone else out for the inspection. I sat for a few more minutes and that was it. I got up and told her that I was sorry and that I just had a bad feeling and I was taking my car somewhere else. I figured if they can't honor their confirmed appointment, what other delays or surprises wait down the line. Look elsewhere. read more

I chose to send my car here before Christmas because other shops couldn't get to it fast enough. It's a bumper fender that needs to be fixed. They call me once to ask for authorization to start working on the car. I've called back every other day to check on progress of the car and even had my adjuster call to send payment over and give them the go on fixing the car and ordering the parts. A few days later I call to ask how much longer the car will be in there and the receptionist even gave us a pick up date. Today I get a call saying that it's not even been work on and that I am imagining all my phone calls. I'm so mad. It shouldn't even been there for going on 4 weeks now. If ur shop doesn't have time to get the job done be honest and stop wasting other people's time. There are plenty of shops around that would've been happy to take my car in. Rude and staff is unorganized with their communications. Been lying to us every time we called. So disappointed thinking this place was a 4 star. read more
