The work done on my car was fantastic. They fixed the work done from another shop and it looks like it's new. Only fault I would give is that my keyfob came back to me extremely beat up like it was dropped or scuffed across the pavement. These things are around $800-1000. read more

i was on my way to work and my engine started to overheat and smoke. i pulled into the first parking lot i could find and excellence auto body thankfully, happened to be in the lot. i had no idea what to do so i walked in to ask if they possibly had coolant for me to buy off of them and immediately i was helped by someone looking under my hood and they even offered to order coolant from oriley to their shop for me asap. they explained everything that was going on as it was happening, and everyone was so so kind and helpful. in the end i was only charged for the cost of the coolant, even though they looked in my car and put the coolant in for me. if i have any car problems in the future i will immediately be coming back because of the customer service and helpfulness that's hard to find. thank you guys again! read more

I had a tire blow out on 1-80 going toward Sacramento. It was a harrowing experience as the only thing left was the outer rim of the tire. That was repaired at the dealership but some of the tire rubber h it my car and needed body work? Rubbing out the somewhat large stain. Lexus dealership referred me to Excellence Body Shop. I dropped bye for an estimate; Aurecelle came out to look at the car and immediately started to try to rub it out. She did a fairly good Job but said her detailer was a magician. That he was!! He also replaced a plastic guard gratis because he had a piece that he cut to fit. They said, it was the best if they could take care of the job without having to do body work and match the paint if they did not have to. Angel Avila is the BEST. I initially found Excellence Auto Body via a Yelp search. So I called to ask questions, do some research etc and decided this was the shop to get the job done. My experience was through my auto insurance- my auto insurance claim was the most frustrating process HOWEVER Angel made sure to call me, update me on his end and asked about the insurance process on my end. AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE! Once Excellence Auto Body was done with my repairs I was pleasantly surprised to see that my car was washed, inside was vacuumed, tires were glistening in the sunshine and my car smelled so good! My left door was partly crushed and needed replacing. It seems Nissan new doors were on back-order, and used (repaired) doors weren't available anywhere. The mechanic at Excellence on Auburn Blvd., known as "Maestro," (because he's amazing) made it his mission to resolve the issue without a new door. He removed any trace of the damage, repainted it perfectly, and it took just two days. Waiting for a new door to arrive might have taken weeks. The result of his painstaking work is perfection! Great shop! Had an issue with my jeep that I had just purchased, the lever was broken and had to take it in to get fixed in order for my seat to fold forward. This was my first and last experience. Very friendly and professional staff but the final work on my vehicle appeared to be perfect when I picked it up. A couple of months later after a car wash, the scratches are still there and the emblem is detaching. Took it there to have them look at it and of course, their claim is that someone tried to still the cheap emblem. read more

-100 Star Rating if I could!! I had to Contact BAR on this company because they returned my car with a bad paint job, dents on the new doors, they removed my VIN tag and never put it back on. Left Gaps in between the doors that were replaced, they charged for things they didn't even do. My car has a tracker and it's connected to my phone. They continuously drove my car around town when they shouldn't have and at high rates of speed!! I was left with a big dent under the car like they hit something. I also noticed when opening my hood they didn't screw my bumper or fenders back on, they had left the screws and a parts laying in the engine bay. They messed up my window tint and messed up a few parts inside my vehicle, left a lot of lose parts around the inside of my doors and forgot to re install a few parts back on! My doors now leak water inside because of the gaps they left and because they didn't re install the weather strips! Avoid this place!! read more

Excellent customer service and excellent quality work. I brought my MINI Cooper S Hardtop here after being recommended by Niello BMW. I accidentally backed into a short post/pole in a parking lot and caused minor damage to the bumper. They were able to completely fix the bumper (instead of replacing it as other body shops wanted to, which lowered costs) and they matched the paint perfectly. This is critical as some shops will not do this (or won't do the color match correctly) and this can leave a repainted panel color/tint mismatched to adjacent panels. While bumpers will always be very slightly off (because of the material differences between a plastic bumper and metal panels), I was amazed at how well they color matched the bumper. I cannot stress this enough, it is amazing how experienced their body/paint techs are at this repair shop. They also use the same paint brand that BMW uses at the factory, which really helps in the color matching process. They were very reasonable with their price and communication was great. Excellence Auto Body exceeded all of my expectations. I want to personally thank Aracely and Syd for their excellent customer service and going above and beyond to help me. Let's start with they are conveniently located right off the freeway. Parking was easy. I had the privilege of being helped by Angel who provided me with excellent customer service! I was impressed with the work to my bumper and tail light. They even washed my car! My whole experience from the time I called to set an apt to get an estimate to picking up my car was easy and felt totally safe. The office is very clean and staff were all in mask. Our 2019 E300 has a 5" scratch and a dent on the driver side door which we would like to fix. We search Yelp.com and find "Excellence Auto Body" has an excellent review. So, we called the shop and the owner, Enrique, answered the phone. He asked us to come in for an estimate and we did. Enrique gave us 2 separate quotes, one is for fixing both and the other is for fixing the scratch only. Since the estimate amount is over our budget, so we decide to file a claim against our insurance company. After we filed a claim with our insurance company, Aracely pretty much took over the entire repair process. We dropped off the car the next day and Aracely has already arranged an Enterprise rental car for us. Even though the repair took a little bit longer time than expected, it is worth waiting. When we picked up the car yesterday, we can't find the original locations for the scratch and dent. Amusing!! Angel is also very helpful during this repair process. He took care of one minor thing which we discovered a couple of days before we picked up our car. Angel does not even argue with us and just goes ahead and fix it. We call this "real" customer service. This auto body shop is family owned and it provides the kind of care and customer service which all car owners love to have. We hate to visit any kind of auto body shop. But if we have such need in the future, Excellence Auto Body is definitely our choice. read more

I took my car in for an estimate and they refuse to work on it because "it will take too long". I will spend my money elsewhere.

I called Excellence Auto Body to schedule an appointment for an estimate to put my bumper back into place after someone backed into it in a parking lot. I couldn't tell if the tabs on the bumper were broken or not, but the paint didn't appear to be damaged or the outside of the bumper itself, so I was hoping it wouldn't be much. The person I spoke with on the phone was super-friendly and said I could email my photos and info ahead of time if I wanted to since I was asking if I could wait there instead of just dropping it off. They were able to get me in the next day. I arrived a bit early, but I was greeted promptly and they took my car back right away. They had the car back out in a matter of minutes, all fixed - and no charge! I couldn't believe it. They said it just needed to be popped back into place, no tabs were broken, easy, fast fix. I appreciate the honesty and integrity of this shop. Also, the staff was great. In my short time there, I spoke with 3 people and everyone was very friendly. I hope I won't need them, but if I do, I will definitely come here for body shop work. read more
