I brought my vehicle to Relux Collision for body and paint repairs through a third-party insurance…read moreclaim. Relux made a great first impression and initially appeared to be a professional, reputable shop. Unfortunately, as the repair process continued, my experience gradually declined due to repeated mistakes, poor workmanship, and a lack of accountability. When I picked up my vehicle, the newly painted front bumper did not match the rest of the vehicle. The color difference was obvious. Relux's proposed solution was to blend the paint into the hood. I argued that the insurance company should also approve blending the adjacent fenders to achieve a proper color transition. To make matters worse, Relux forgot to reinstall my front lip, requiring me to make another trip back to the shop. The insurance company later denied Relux's supplemental request after their adjuster determined the color mismatch was due to poor color matching by the shop and was therefore Relux's responsibility to correct and not the insurance company's. I initially believed the denial was simply the insurance company refusing to pay, but that was not the case. Throughout the process, Relux never accepted responsibility for the issues. I agreed to let them repaint the bumper because I wanted the repair done correctly, with the understanding that they would start over and achieve a closer factory color match. During my second visit, I performed a more thorough inspection and noticed the bumper was also misaligned, with the driver's side corner sitting higher than the passenger side. I pointed this out and was told it would take about five minutes to fix. While waiting, I heard loud tapping coming from the shop and hoped it wasn't being done on my vehicle. After taking my car home, I noticed something new. In the exact area where the bumper had been realigned, the paint now showed several small dents or impressions that became visible under certain lighting conditions. I returned to Relux to address the damage. Several employees gathered around my vehicle which felt aggressive, but instead of acknowledging the issue, I was met with excuses. Eventually, the manager, Gain, came out and told me they would not be helping me any further because they had already "gone above and beyond." Gain even told me, "If you find another shop to address or fix it, have them give me a call." When I asked him to clarify, he said he would pay for the repairs if it was within reason. I then asked if he would put that commitment in writing, but he refused. By that point, I was completely exhausted and frustrated by the entire experience. After multiple return visits, repeated issues, and what I felt was a constant effort to deflect responsibility, I decided to leave. I walked away feeling like my concerns were being dismissed rather than genuinely addressed. From my perspective, going above and beyond would have meant taking accountability, correcting the color match properly the first time, reinstalling parts that were removed, and ensuring no additional damage occurred during the repair process. Instead, I left with a vehicle that required multiple return visits, had paint quality concerns, fitment issues, and ultimately new damage that the shop refused to address. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Relux Collision at this time. If quality workmanship and accountability are important to you, I would encourage you to carefully inspect any repairs before accepting your vehicle. Do be so easily enticed as i was with their deductible assistance unless you're okay with C-grade work. They also entice you to write them reviews in exchange for $25 gift cards if that tells you something about their online reputation.

They were very friendly and welcoming, provided me with a lot of information I didn't know beforehand, and were able to answer all the questions I had regarding the shop, my vehicle, and insurance. They kept in contact with me to ensure that they'll have the parts on-hand once I received my rental car and can start repairs asap. Dropped off my car on a Monday and it was ready to go by Friday! I had a fender liner replacement, bumper replacement + paint, and fog light installation. Anything extra that may be needed (such as ordering a new emblem), they contacted me. They were super easy to communicate with and were very professional. Once I picked up my car, they had me check everything to ensure it was all good. It was fun talking to everyone here. They have a lot of experience and knowledge in repairing and maintaining vehicles, specializing in JDM cars, too. While I was waiting, I saw people from local shops dropping by just to hang out for a bit, they made sure their clients understood the process and cleared up any confusion before they left, it felt very community oriented. Definitely left a huge impact on me because it's difficult to find a trusted business that won't take advantage of their clients.

Glass repaired, like it never happened. I talked to them about the BB gun dent and the keyed back bumper. Mentioned my high deductible. He said they'd do it all for $850. Hot dog! I got my car back today and it's like the damage never existed. I feel so much better.

It's important to note that even as I brought in things to complete he project, they didn't charge me extra as they considered it part of the project. Also when they accidentally damaged a piece, they stepped up and were completely honest about it. It was such a small piece that it probably could have been repaired without me knowing but the fact they were honest about it made it better. They ordered an even better part and everything was good. I should have posted a year ago (first car in), but been slacking off. I will have a third car in for Mike and his team to work on again. Impressive quality work is done here and nothing below that. Paint matching is spot on and the they will go further as to repainting it multiple times to match the color right for you. I had a Porsche 996 in recently that needed a body kit installed. Instead of attaching the side skirts/rockers on, Mike insisted on molding it in. Mind blown with how it turned out and it looks like it came from factory OEM! The customer service is awesome and they will very personable people that will keep you updated throughout the progress. There are no shortcuts taken here! I have not and don't plan on switching to any other auto body for a long time. There are many choices out there when looking for custom work, but when you see what Mike is working on as his hobby (ask for a tour of his classics), you know you found the right place for your investments.

Then they called the rental company to come pick me up instead of me getting a Lyft/Uber which I had no idea they would do. That was so excellent!

It was a smooth booking process online, I was able to schedule a 11:30am appointment. Location was easy to find in downtown and has enough parking space. Went into the office to check in around 11:23am. However found out the technician that does smog went out to lunch and will be back in an hour. So I will have to wait and come back. I was not expecting that and was slightly annoyed since I made the appointment time for 11:30am and expected to be done in 30 minutes and get back to work. If there was an appointment time available and someone booked it, I would expect a business to honor the customer's time and continue with the business before going on lunch. If an employee is to go to lunch, then do not make that time available for booking. So I gave the business the benefit of the doubt and just went with it...I just dropped the car off and walked to a near by area for lunch and wait for an hour and half. Overall, my smog check was done a little before 1pm with under 8 minutes to spare. It was done at the time they promised..and the person in the office was nice. All in all..I'm okay with the visit..probably will come back but probably will not book an appointment at 11:30am again, maybe earlier or later. But do check it out for your smog test..

While parked in parking lot, found several white marks on door of unblemished factory paint job (first experience). Needless to say, I urgently look to correct the blemish on door and spoke with Sid. We scheduled a time to check out the damage and projected estimated was provided. Once I arrived to their Sacramento location, I received a friendly greeting and we reviewed the blemishes on the door. He had one of his technicians come out to assess the damage and fortunately the door that created the blemish did not dent or cut through the paint/clear coat. I was informed that it was paint transfer. Sid brought vehicle into shop and returned approximately 10 minutes later. The door looked excellent, no more blemishes and you could no longer see any trace of the paint transfer. They did such a great job. I'm a very happy customer and was very satisfied with the excellent customer service and the technical service. I highly recommend this shop for any body work needed and I will for sure use them for any body or detail service that I may need in the future. Never have I ever had to deal with an auto insurance claim (4 months from incident to conclusion). My truck had a blow out sent from the mythic realm of Hades, all the wiring was left in a ball of carnage. My insurance company worked with Excellence and I am so very thankful. Never have I ever been SO mad at a dealership. Syd was communicative and patient, he explained what the process was, kept me informed regularly and realistically. During the period of time the truck went to the dealership to have work performed, Syd kept me from stepping over the line and landing myself in County accommodations sporting an orange jumpsuit. It was my son's car before he joined Military Special Forces and was killed. I am emotionally attached. I'm sure it has many more miles to go. I had it towed to Excellence in Sacramento. Our 2019 BMW X5 was damaged after a tree fell across the front during the New Year's Eve storm smashing the hood, front fenders and tire. There is no place I would ever go. Everyone at Excellence is friendly and helpful, starting with the owners and throughout the team. I have brought several cars in now and I am delighted all over again. Excellence has repaired our nicer cars, cars we use all the time, and antique vehicles that are special to us. They have fixed work that other collision shops have done badly, I can tell you the work here is truly excellent. They stay in communication at all times, and they will deliver your car back to you nicer than it has looked before! My wife's car 2018 Audi A-4 was hit by another driver. No one was hurt. Thank goodness. The driver side front fender, hood and headlight was all badly damage. Aracely the service manager, took very good care of us. She contacted our insurance company. And handled all the details, keeping us informed. They used all OEM parts. And the paint job, was awesome. The work was perfect, on time, and they went the extra mile. In addition to perfect body repair work, they fixed foggy yellowed headlights to like new condition! If I could give this review 10 stars I would absolutely do it in a heart beat. Not only was Excellence's job perfect, their customer service was honestly the best I've ever had. This collision center is as the name states. Both my wife's Audi S3 and my Audi S4 have had repaint work done and you can not complain about the quality. The paint looks as if it came from factory and truly surprised me each time I went to pick up our cars. Love working with Britt so much. On top of that, they accommodated my rental car, making the entire repair process incredibly convenient and stress free. Relux made a great first impression and initially appeared to be a professional, reputable shop. Unfortunately, as the repair process continued, my experience gradually declined due to repeated mistakes, poor workmanship, and a lack of accountability. When I picked up my vehicle, the newly painted front bumper did not match the rest of the vehicle. The color difference was obvious. Relux's proposed solution was to blend the paint into the hood. I argued that the insurance company should also approve blending the adjacent fenders to achieve a proper color transition. To make matters worse, Relux forgot to reinstall my front lip, requiring me to make another trip back to the shop. The insurance company later denied Relux's supplemental request after their adjuster determined the color mismatch was due to poor color matching by the shop and was therefore Relux's responsibility to correct and not the insurance company's. I initially believed the denial was simply the insurance company refusing to pay, but that was not the case. Throughout the process, Relux never accepted responsibility for the issues. I agreed to let them repaint the bumper because I wanted the repair done correctly, with the understanding that they would start over and achieve a closer factory color match. During my second visit, I performed a more thorough inspection and noticed the bumper was also misaligned, with the driver's side corner sitting higher than the passenger side. I pointed this out and was told it would take about five minutes to fix. While waiting, I heard loud tapping coming from the shop and hoped it wasn't being done on my vehicle. After taking my car home, I noticed something new. In the exact area where the bumper had been realigned, the paint now showed several small dents or impressions that became visible under certain lighting conditions. I returned to Relux to address the damage. Several employees gathered around my vehicle which felt aggressive, but instead of acknowledging the issue, I was met with excuses. Eventually, the manager, Gain, came out and told me they would not be helping me any further because they had already "gone above and beyond." Gain even told me, "If you find another shop to address or fix it, have them give me a call." When I asked him to clarify, he said he would pay for the repairs if it was within reason. I then asked if he would put that commitment in writing, but he refused. By that point, I was completely exhausted and frustrated by the entire experience. After multiple return visits, repeated issues, and what I felt was a constant effort to deflect responsibility, I decided to leave. I walked away feeling like my concerns were being dismissed rather than genuinely addressed. From my perspective, going above and beyond would have meant taking accountability, correcting the color match properly the first time, reinstalling parts that were removed, and ensuring no additional damage occurred during the repair process. Instead, I left with a vehicle that required multiple return visits, had paint quality concerns, fitment issues, and ultimately new damage that the shop refused to address. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Relux Collision at this time. If quality workmanship and accountability are important to you, I would encourage you to carefully inspect any repairs before accepting your vehicle. Do be so easily enticed as i was with their deductible assistance unless you're okay with C-grade work. They also entice you to write them reviews in exchange for $25 gift cards if that tells you something about their online reputation.

The first time I brought my car in to fix an engine light issue with my oxygen sensor on my Honda accord, he helped recommend a better brand and was honest and helpful. I now have brought my CX5 to him multiple times already for his expert opinion on different issues and for regular maintenance. He's always very responsive, easy to get a hold of, and willing to share his knowledge and expertise. Recently, I brought in a long list of items to be fixed from the dealership, and he was honest in what he thought needed to be done more urgently vs not, and his prices were also much more reasonable. He was kind enough to help me as well with replacing my car battery and windshield wipers. If you're looking for a trusted honest knowledgeable mechanic who is also very friendly and easy to chat with, Victor is your guy!

Highly recommended! Your insurance company will try to send you to a generic chain body shop like Caliber, to keep their claim costs down. Low speed accident but it caused some issues since the driver took out my rear panel, bumper, and radar/electronics. Unfortunately because it's a Mercedes the parts are expensive. Hey no one likes getting hit and no one likes having to get repairs. But...into everyone's life a parking lot smunch is likely to happen. These guys do everything well. The repairs are beautiful. They even did a nice wash and detail to complete the work. They are honest with customers and they work honestly and well with insurance companies too - it shows. Communication was great. Every experience I've had with Bertolucci 's has been outstanding.
