The workmanship was average. Our service after the sale was less than satisfactory. My husband and I went to the Orangevale Caliber Collision location to pick up my car after repairs were completed. We were working with Thomas. When it came time to check out we were told there was a $500 deductible. We explained the situation, the deductible was being waved, but we were still required to pay the deductible. Thomas called my insurance company but it was right before 5 o'clock so he was unable to reach our claims adjuster. Thomas suggested we 'just pay' the deductible or he could 'hold the vehicle' until the matter could be cleared up. That doesn't seem very customer oriented to me. My suggestion would have been to release the vehicle and work it out the following morning but that wasn't a courtesy Thomas the was willing to extend us. As a result we won't be back. Mercedes, the receptionist was friendly, but the rest of the office appeared indifferent to our being there. The 'people in the offices' adjacent to the front desk, need to be a bit more personable when doing business in a small town like Orangevale. read more

Took my car there to get repaired, an insurance claim from a lady who ran into me, well they wanted to say the damage was a total loss, ( it wasn't just slightly body and paint job) and the insurance company paid them........but they never came to pick up my car via tow, or call me to bring it back in to repair it........while I'm driving a rental for going on almost one month! I kid you not. We have been through hell trying to get our car repaired. 8 months later, my car ended up totaled and towed away. My car started in Orangevale and was shipped to Auburn after Orangevale couldn service it. While in Auburn shabby repairs were made and my car was exposed to mildew and mold while in their garage. Treatment of the mold by their 3rd party vendor rendered the car useless due to a chemical smell that could not be eradicated. Nor was the mold and mildew eradicated. I drove the car once for a medical appointment and the left headlight fell out of the casing causing irreparable damage to the headlight. The new bumper was aftermarket and began to become misaligned to the fenders. I called to get the repairs for the headlight and number and was informed by the regional manager that headlights don't fall out after being repaired. This was after the Orangevale shop committed to fix everything again due to the poor workmanship. I am now working with my attorney rather than a second class business. read more

To those who did the physical labor on my car thank you! The actual repair of my vehicle was really well done but the process of getting to that end product was a major headache. I felt I had to keep calling to make sure the repair was actually getting done because I was left in the dark about my repair pretty much no updates unless I called myself. My car was transferred from the Roseville location to this orangevale location on a Monday. Heard nothing from the shop when I call to see how the repair was going I was told on 3pm on Thursday they hadn't touched my car yet. My service coordinator was Jason. Basically nobody took care of calling my insurance and adjusting the claim to cover the orangevale shop instead of the roseville shop so they weren't gonna start the repair til that was done. This could have been fixed with a 5 minute phone call directly to Allstate or to me to tell me to call Allstate myself but instead I received zero communication and they let my car sit for days while I paid for a rental car out of pocket. And they were aware I was paying out of pocket for my rental car. Moral of the story take your repairs elsewhere read more

Accidents are the worst thing ever but (I think his manager "MIKE") we're so kind and helped me get my situation taken care of. My rear bumper was dented in a minor accident a couple months back. I took it into Caliber for an estimate to give to the other party. The other driver wanted to handle individually and leave insurance out of it. I explained the situation to the Caliber claims writer and he was very informative and knowledgeable. I'm the end I was compensated by the other driver for the cost of the estimate. Caliber did a fantastic job replacing my new bumper and the total amount came in slightly under the original estimate. Proceeded to make small talk with us and in the process let us know he's had 3 DUI's. How do you work somewhere with cars when you don't even have a license? Liberty Mutual told my parents they had to go to this shop to have their Catalytic converter replaced after we tried to go to a muffler shop. Everything was all figured out and paperwork done when I called them to let them know the car was on the tow truck on the way to their place. They told me without any questions that it could not come there and has to be rerouted to Sacramento. I told the tow truck to wait because they are saying they can't take it. After telling them this was already all discussed with us and Insurance and putting me on hold many times and talking to different people they say they could take it. I told the tow truck driver it was going to go so he put it back on. Then they told me they don't need the car just the Vin number so he was going to take it back off when the Gallardos guy said hold on and let me check and came back on the phone to now say they needed the car. At the end of the conversation (now after two long conversations and the car on its way) they told me that the car could be sitting at their place until November. It was July 22. I called the Insurance company and asked to have it moved to the Muffler shop we asked for originally. They said ok but I'm the meantime Gallardos told us we need to come get the car that very day they called becuase " they were not a car storage facility!" Wow! They just put me through all this mess ans never mentioned the car would be out of commission for up to 4 months and they couldn't wait however many hours it would take to get a tow? Horrible service. Will NEVER use them. read more
