They made the process very easy. my car was hit while parking and the repairs they did were great, fair and just. I have been skeptical in the past of repair shops trying to fix things that aren't broken or needing repair just to get the extra money. I didn't find that here. Who knew fixing damage after a hit and run could be so pleasant, simple, easy, professional, and painless!! 1.) GOOD WORK: The work Fix Auto Orangevale did was amazing. They matched my bumper repair perfectly, I was more than happy with the work they did. 2.) FRIENDLY STAFF: The ladies at the front, especially Hannah, was super friendly, easy to work with, very informative, pleasant, and always kept me in the loop about what was going on. 3.) EASY PROCESS: That was 10x easier than expected. They coordinated with my insurance company and the car rental place. I barely had to do anything. My sister had collision repair done somewhere else twice, and had horror stories. This was my first time ever taking a vehicle in for collision repair, so I was shocked at how easy, streamlined and efficient they were. 4.) QUICK TURN AROUND: Again, more horror stories from my sister and another friend from a different repair shop. Which left me expecting a really long turn around time. I didn't even bother to ask when it would be ready. I hunkered down and was waiting.... I was surprised when I got the call it was ready. Apparently when you go to a good place like this, they know what they're doing so they can fix it in a timely fashion. 5.) WENT WELL ABOVE AND BEYOND: While I was there, they fixed a very minor issue I had with a piece of my front bumper rubbing. I thought it had to do with the accident but they said it was not. They still fixed it. I thought it would cost an arm and a leg for that outside of insurance and it didn't. I felt they really cared about customer service and getting the job done right, efficiently and quickly. This was really well above and beyond what was expected of them. Ok, not sure what happened to my first review, this shop use to be great, fixed my wife's car, did some small repair on my car. The owner and his staff were first class. Then they became fix auto franchise. New manager showed up. It's like going to a Fulton Ave used car lot trying to buy a car. Since my issues with my latest repairs I have been trying to contact the owner of the shop, I have went in person requesting at meeting, I have sent two requests through the fix auto app and the owner seems to be missing in action. Your best bet is to try another shop, unless you prefer dealing with the used car salesman's attitude. Something has changed and not for the better. Too bad, it's close to my house Another added benefit to this shop at the present time, they return your car to you with the windshield totally covered with over spray. So much I almost got into a wreck when the sun hit my windshield just right, cleaned it off myself, went to the shop to talk to the owner, he wasn't available, the office guys said it happens all the time. So we had to use them twice. My insurance company recommended them after my car got swiped in a parking lot. They take a look at the car and told me they will call me to schedule an appointment. A week goes by and I ended up calling them. (That should have been my sign) They booked me out by at least a month or longer, No big deal I was not in a hurry. What got me was there was no confirmation call or text before my appointment which is almost two months since I started this process. I called them to confirm my drop off time a few days before my scheduled appointment. So I drop it off and I am told they will call me the next day with an update. I wait till 430, I call and they say another day we will call with update. Nope. So finally day 3 it's ready, I tell them I'm frustrated with their lack of communication pay and go on my way. They bug me for a review and I figured meh I just would never recommend them the bumper looks good, I'm over the headache. Well 4 months later we notice the bumper has two areas where paint is coming off. So I call and they have me drive all the way down there so they can look at it. Understandable, they apologize and tell me they will call me tomorrow to find a date to squeeze me in because they are busy. Ha I believed them. I called them 3 days later to say what's up. They apologize and get me scheduled at the end of the month. Now I'm irritated cuz I have another 3 days of one car for a family of 4. So when I drop my car off after work the paperwork is not ready, I have to wait and I ask them to please keep me updated because last time they didn't. I was told we will call you late afternoon. I waited till 430 and called them. Very little information from the front office. Finally Nate called me the next day explained to me that the first bumper was refurbished and already primed. So when they add their paint it doesn't stick. So this new bumper is oem and they used their primer. So I shouldn't have any problem. It's a Subaru issue. Now I get that these things happen. This is not for the bad review. The 2 stars is for their lack of customer service. It's crazy that because you are busy at the moment, you have many people wanting your service you can just act like I should be grateful for your service. Auto body care Is not cheap and a little better communication can go a long way. So from my two experiences I would not recommend this place. read more

Insane prices. Needed just a dent removed from a door and they priced me for an entire door replacement, along with a ton of other unnecessary work such as removal of the front bumper, made no sense. I ended up getting the repair done for $750, they quoted me more than $4k. I can't speak on the quality of the work. Maybe it's really good. But the price alone was way too high. read more

We were unfortunately rear ended by an uninsured driver last month and while the before pics surely don't do the level of damage there truly was justice, the after pics show just how great the attention to detail really was. Not only was our car cosmetically damaged but the rear end impact also created some exhaust and shifting issues. But getting Our car back today, not only did she look better than the day he got her, but she was running great and shifting smoothly. They installed a replacement tailgate for my F150 but what impressed me was that Nate went above and beyond. I found a used tailgate and had it shipped to Fix as my original gate was damaged. The replacement gate had some funky paint on it and the cables were frayed. Nate took the best of of my original gate and added those parts to the replacement gate thus giving me a really nice tailgate. Great waiting room friendly staff , I highly recommend Fix auto they are honest and wonderful people. read more

North Star Collision Repair does outstanding work and quickly too! We had some damage on our RV and were on a tight deadline since we live in it full time and were getting ready to move. We explained we needed to be on the road in one week and they happily accommodated us staying up throughout the last evening to finish up. Not A-Z fix it all company, several fixes front to back, paid cash. They left off several other things that should've been replaced and repaired that were a result of the damage. went back and they made-shift a repair to make it functional but looks like dookie. They said that was the best they could do. Really! I think not. Had good service til came time to finish my car and put new stickers on... had my stickers over a week after i called and asked the status, they said they would call back 30 mims later... never heard anything from them... I called a week later again, and they told me they came in a week prior.. nice communication.. then when they got them and told me, they would only do 1 side of the stickers.. even though they send a new pair to be replaced with... now im gonna have a brand new sticker one one side and a faded one in the other.. gonna be calling state farm now to find another body shop that can put the other sticker on.. I would go elsewhere if possible.. they don't finish the job to the customers liking.. lesson learned.. read more

I am very disappointed they replaced my window motor and regulator and removed and reinstalled my window Wrong and caused additional problems they they won't fix. I have a complaint against them. Under new ownership with Jessie, he took care of my 19 year old Ford Expedition which needed a door replaced and new outside runner. I provided the parts via pick and pull which saved me a ton of money & Jessie helped me out on the labor rate as it was an out of pocket expense.
