Brought my Tahoe in on Monday to have the front end repaired after I was hit by a person who ran a red light. They were not aware my insurance adjuster reviewed the car on Tuesday until I informed them of this on Thursday. I informed them I will pay out of pocket and deal with my insurance later. I also in formed them I want GM parts. I was told GM part will be a little more expensive. On Wednesday they gave me the estimate ( $6000.00). I approved the $6000.00 and they charged $3100.00 to my credit card for parts. Thursday I received the insurance estimate ($3500.00). Thursday I received a call from the manager ( I believe his name is Alan) who stated they will not do the work unless it is handled through they insurance, since they will pay a one thousand dollar supplement but out of pocket customers will complain. I informed the manager that did not make sense unless they did dot give me an accurate estimate. He said " I think it is best if you go to a small shop where they can take there time and do the work right " They refunded my $3100.00 I picked my vehicle up and took it to another business. The estimate was almost twice what the adjusted concluded ( although partially to GM parts I requested) , they expected to have potentially a thousand dollars supplements repairs and maybe I should take it to a small company so "they can fix it right". I cannot imagine a business surviving with business practices as shown by the manager. The only positive is the staff was friendly especially one of the managers named Alma. read more

Had some body work done here after my neighbor t-boned me. In general, the work was done professionally, but it did take a couple of extra days to wait for a part. In addition, the repair left an air whistle on the drive side door that can be quite annoying at highway speeds, but I haven't had time to leave the vehicle to get it fixed and no body from the auto shop contacted me when I left a separate review earlier. I forgot to update this review. I was contacted by the manager of Caliber and we worked out a time to meet to get the whistle repaired. It took a day and they comped me for a rental car. Bottom line, they wanted to make things right and did. I would recommend them for any body work that you may need. read more

Approximately one year ago, I brought my son's Corolla to this shop after he was rear-ended, and they did a great job; one would never know his car had been in a collision. Naturally, when my wife was rear-ended in her Camaro, I did not hesitate to bring it to this shop to be repaired. Well... The shop must have changed personnel because it was the worst experience imaginable. We brought my wife's car in to Caliber Murrieta on September 20th. Scott took pictures of our car, and after couple of days notified us of the costs and estimated time of October 24th as a completion date. During the time it was in the shop, we received update texts notifying us of the progress. We were surprised to get a message that our vehicle would be completed and ready for pick-up on October 12th, which was much earlier than expected. We were notified by phone that the car was complete with the exception of the rear racing stripe, which was on order from the dealer. We were told that someone would be sent to our home to put the stripe on when it arrived. We went to pick-up the vehicle on October 12th. Within a few minutes of looking it over, we could see defects in the paint. There were "fish-eyes" in spots, scratches on the brake light lens, buff marks, and a lack of paint on the trunk jamb to name just a few of the flaws. We rejected the car, and had to get another rental. Caliber Murrieta had the vehicle until the first week of November. We got a call that our car was ready, and they had gone over it very carefully. The manager, Valerie, was there when we examined the vehicle. When we picked it up in the morning; it was overcast, so it appeared to be fine. After washing the car the following weekend, I discovered numerous flaws and overspray on the car. The trunk lid had buff marks, there was overspray on the doors and rear wheels to name just a few. I immediatey drove down to Caliber Murrieta and showed them all the flaws in their work. At this point, I contacted my my insurance company, AAA, and explained everything. AAA made arrangements for me to take the car to Caliber Temecula. When we dropped it off on November 20th, we were met by their shop manager, Kat, their regional manger Dave Allen, Murrieta manager, Valerie, and another Murrieta employee. We could all clearly see the defects in the paint. In fact, in the bright sunshine, the bumper had a matte finish and the color of the entire rear of the car did not match the front. I later came to find out that Caliber Murrieta did not repair the right wheel well properly-it still had a roll in it that had to be straightened. Basically, Caliber Temecula had to redo all the work that Caliber Murrieta was supposed to do. I finally have our vehicle back, and it looks like everything was done properly. I'll know for sure once I wash it. All that to say that my car was in the shop for a total of 99 days. Based on my experience, I would avoid Caliber Murrieta. I would give them "0" stars if that were an option. read more

I have been driving for 35 years and had my share of collisions (accidents) depending on how you see it. One of the accidents were my fault , but thats not my point. The point I am trying to make is that I have had several interactions with auto body shops (collision centers) and until now it was a matter of the car is broken and they fixed it PERIOD ! I pay my insurance bill on time every time. I have taken my car to Caliber Once,Twice, and still parts are falling off. I took my car in for an estimate and two other places. They gave me estimates in a short period of time. When I brought it to Caliber they said I'd have to make an appointment the following week. There was 1 customer in there. I'm shocked they couldn't have an estimator come look at a car, even if I had to wait. There's a few grand in business they will not be getting. read more

I just got my car back from the one in Costa Mesa and it was a great experience! They worked to get me the best quote possible, and Richard (the adjuster) and Pat (the mechanic) we're genuinely nice guys who really went out of their way to take care of me and my car. I had gotten into a minor accident and been side swiped on the freeway in my brand new car a few months back, came to Caliber with a recommendation from a friend and I was not disappointed. It looks brand new again! I would recommend this place to anyone! It was a great experience. Over the years I've used a few collision repair facilities in the Temecula/Murrieta area, but about 5 years ago I tried Caliber and now I'm a customer for life. I've had two different vehicles at the Pear St facility and and all activities from coordinating the rental car through the repair went off without a hitch. Lance was my customer service representative. He effectively communicated all repair updates and my car was delivered as promised. Lance even worked with me to recommend vendors to do other selective work such as interior leather on my wife's car. They even coordinated the rental car for me which let me get on the road quickly after repairs were completed. I like the fact that all of their work is warrantied for the life of the vehicle. Hopefully I will not need body work in the future but Caliber Collision has my business if I do. read more

The car only had damage on the right front, yes suspension, headlight etc. But they said it was $6K in damage and totaled my car. What a joke! $6K? Do their guys make $300/hr! DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE IF YOU EVER WANT TO SEE IT AGAIN!!! I've had two vehicles repaired at this location. They aren't the cheapest in town but in my opinion they are the best. My son recently wrecked my 2019 Subaru and they repaired it like brand new again. They pay attention to the finest details including the computer system so that there are no electrical issues which can result from pinched wires and things like that. I took my Ford F350 there to have the roof repainted. The initial estimate was around $800 dollars and quickly became a written estimate over a $1000. They send daily text updates that literally mean nothing. The day before my truck was scheduled to be complete I received a text stating "On track for completion tomorrow", the morning of pickup I receive a text stating it would be ready 3 days later. I eventually got my truck a day later after losing over a $1000 dollars work. After getting my truck home and cleaning it up, I noticed over spray and hose drag marks on the hood of my truck. I haven't taken it back. I refuse to go back there for anything. I would not recommend to anyone!! Try Faith or someone else. Avoid the disappointment! read more

I called the Temecula caliber collision due to being recommended by my insurance company. Ignoring all negative online reviews and complaints received from both friends and co-workers. (MISTAKE) A staff member by the name of Maria answered the phone, from the get go I knew I was in for a terrible experience. The way she answered the phone and communicated with me (the customer) it was apparent that she seriously lacked efficiency & professionalism. Was she possibly hungry? IDK ‍ She kept me on hold for an excess amount of time resulting in absolutely nothing, proving to be completely ineffective in her job role. I was rear ended and simply wanted to schedule an estimate for the damages, giving the business opportunity to caliber collision. (FAIL) Due to Maria's incompetence to communicate effectively over the phone I offered to come in to speak with her or a supervisor to - again simply schedule an estimate - We're not talking rocket science here, although Maria seemed to be on the moon (1+1) Mariabut wait there's more! In response she stated verbatim "We have no one here to help you." This is a place of business right? After double checking the phone number to ensure I had the right number to the (Business Temecula Caliber Collision) that repairs vehicles I just gave up. Although at least 4 employees went out to the parking area to bring in soda (etc), and one of them (a receptionists), asked two other employees what they were having for brunch today (no she didn't say lunch) I felt the potential of a new customer wasn't very important to them.
